00:10 Good morning. Until now, there is still zero visibility around Taal Volcano due to volcanic smog.

00:20 From a view deck here in Tagaytay City, Cavite, the volcanic eruption of the volcano is not visible due to the thickness of the smog.

00:28 However, according to the Taal Volcano Observatory,

00:30 using their seismic monitors, gas upwelling is still continuing in the crater of the volcano.

00:36 It is still being eroded by white smoke or what is called steam plume.

00:39 It is reaching 3,000 meters high this morning and the direction is to the southwest.

00:45 Since 4 p.m. yesterday, there is no recorded volcanic tremor.

00:49 This morning, some tourists headed here to Tagaytay hoping to see the volcano but they were confused due to the thickness of the volcanic smog.

00:57 I just wanted to see the volcanic smog, what it looks like, and I also wanted to see the Taal Volcano, what the situation is.

01:12 But we cannot see anything because the smog is so thick.

01:24 Meanwhile, we will remind the residents that the volcanic smog may affect those wearing face masks.
