00:00Good evening, Kapuso! I am your brother Kim, who will give you a trivia behind the trending news.
00:10A photographer who was on vacation in Batangas was so happy because he was able to take a photo of a Bulalakaw once in a lifetime.
00:24Of all the photos taken by the photographer Winfred, this is the most special.
00:31In the photo he took on his 40th birthday in Batangas, he was able to take a photo of a Bulalakaw once in a lifetime.
00:40The Bulalakaw is the comet C2023-A3 or Tsutsinshan Atlas.
00:45That's why he was able to see it. Winfred didn't waste any time.
00:48I would always research the best times to take it. I have several apps in my cellphone to know where I should point my camera.
00:55I had to wait for the sun to really set so that there won't be too much light pollution.
00:59That's why he was so happy when he was able to take this photo.
01:01I guess blessed is not the best word to describe it.
01:04To be able to capture an event like this that you know that won't happen 80,000 lifetimes is amazing.
01:10It's amazing.
01:12Kuya Kim, why do Bulalakaw have tails?
01:16Kuya Kim, what is it?
01:18When we see comets, they usually have a tail.
01:22They have it when they are close to what is called perihelion or the place in their orbit that is closest to the sun.
01:28When it approaches the sun, the tendency of those ice particles is to transform into gas.
01:35And so it forms a tail.
01:37That's what happens.
01:38Solar radiation gives off a beautiful tail.
01:42But for an ion tail, solar wind gives off a second tail of a comet.
01:48Comet C2023-A3 will be shown this month in different countries like Russia, North Macedonia, and here in the Philippines.
01:55This is the first time that it will be seen on our planet.
01:58According to NASA, this Bulalakaw that was discovered last year,
02:02it is possible that it was last seen on Earth 80,000 years ago.
02:05And it won't be seen on our solar system ever again.
02:08In the solar system, there are three demarcation lines.
02:11The third demarcation line is what is called the Oort Cloud.
02:14Comets are there.
02:16They have their own distance.
02:18They have their own periods of return to us.
02:21And so there are long periods, there are long periods, and there are short periods.
02:25It's really amazing to see Bulalakaw.
02:27That's why many of us want to see a meteorite.
02:31But wait, what are their differences?
02:37Comets are small icy dirt balls that revolve around the sun.
02:41Meteors are space rocks or meteoroids that enter the atmosphere of the Earth.
02:46Meteors are also called shooting stars because of the streak of light that can be seen while it falls on Earth.
02:53When a meteorite falls on Earth, it is called a meteorite.

03:03Kuya Kim, Ano Na?
03:05Always remember, the important thing is to know.
03:07I am Kuya Kim and I will answer you 24 hours.
03:11The music industry and directioners all around the globe are excited about the appearance of One Direction member, Liam Payne.
03:18May I report, this is Aubrey Carampel.
03:24Good morning, everybody.
03:25This is the last video uploaded on Snapchat by the British singer and One Direction member, Liam Payne.
03:31It was taken in Argentina but the singer did not mention when it was taken.
03:36He uploaded it a few hours before the news of Liam's death came out.
03:41According to police and emergency responders,
03:44Payne fell from the balcony of his third-floor hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
03:50Before this, the hotel reported that there was an unidentified aggressive man who may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
03:59When authorities arrived, the hotel manager suspected that a man had fallen from the balcony
04:05and Liam was found dead on the patio of the hotel.
04:09According to the police, Liam suffered serious injuries and he was not resuscitated and revived.
04:15According to the Buenos Aires Security Ministry, it is not yet clear if the fall was an accident.
04:25Fans of the vigil gathered outside the hotel where Liam, aged 31, was found dead.
04:34Liam was discovered in the British reality singing competition X-Factor in 2010
04:39where One Direction was formed with Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson,
04:47one of the so-called successful boy bands worldwide.
04:51Among the famous One Direction songs are
04:54What Makes You Beautiful, Story of My Life, and Best Song Ever.
04:58When the group was hiatus, Liam's solo career began
05:02and among the songs he released were Strip That Down and Teardrops.
05:07A few days before the week, Liam watched Niall's concert in Argentina with his girlfriend.
05:13But Liam was happy that he watched Niall live and posted a selfie of their reunion on Snapchat.
05:25In a statement, X-Factor said that Liam left a lasting legacy in the music industry and fans around the world.
05:33Celebrities were also affected by Liam's passing, including American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth
05:39who was shocked by the news of his friend's passing and became kind to him.
05:45In the course of Liam's career, from being a member of One Direction to enjoying his solo career,
05:52Liam became open to his struggles in mental health and alcohol to cope with the pressures of fame.
06:04Last year, Liam posted a video where he said he doesn't drink alcohol anymore and thanked his supporters.
06:18Liam's children were shocked by the singer Cheryl Cole, who became a judge in his reality competition.
06:25Poor Carampel, it lasted 24 hours.
06:30Around 500 Filipinos were saved and returned to the Philippines after being trapped in trouble in Lebanon.
06:37From Naia, Raffi Fima, Raffi.
06:45Emil Pasado, last seen on Kuwaiti Airlines Lulang, the grandmother of 47 Filipinos from Lebanon.
06:52Repatriates from southern Lebanon are now in a good situation.
06:57They are now ready to attack Israel.
07:07The Filipinos were happy when they were saved and were able to leave Lebanon.
07:11Now, they are back in the country.
07:13The two children were among those who came to the OFW.
07:15I must say, it's the biggest badge.
07:18Since we started, since the President's order, since day one,
07:22there was a fight between Hezbollah and the Israeli Defense Forces in October 2023.
07:31The OFWs are now in a good situation, aside from the trauma they experienced.
07:36Aside from the 150,000 pesos from various agencies, livelihood and skills training,
07:41there is also psychosocial intervention for those in need.
07:45I'm very lucky to see that all 47 are in good physical condition.
07:50They will still undergo a physical examination and a psychological first aid
07:55for the crisis that they went through.
07:58Our experts in mental health are there.
08:01In total, 525 Filipinos have returned to Lebanon, including 30 dependents.
08:08It is expected that in the next few days,
08:10200 Lebanese authorities will process their papers.
08:14There are many OFWs in Lebanon.
08:16Living in the country is illegal.
08:18That's why many are hesitating to return home.
08:21364 have set flights, tickets, so they're braced to come home in different flights.
08:29For now, the evacuation is still voluntary
08:32because the DFA is not yet raising the level 3 status of Lebanon in Alert Level 4.
08:36It will do so once the crisis becomes more widespread.
08:39And because it will be more difficult to leave Lebanon during the mandatory evacuation,
08:44the DFA is already talking to them.
08:46I will not lie to you.
08:47I promised that we will answer all of you 100% if there is a full war.
08:51That's why it's a war.
08:52Is that why there is a plan to cover you?
08:55Please, take advantage.
09:02According to an OFW who agreed to talk to the media,
09:05even though he has experienced a lot of chaos in Lebanon,
09:07this is the most difficult thing to happen
09:09because the bombings are near their homes.
09:12That's why he decided to go home.
09:14Meanwhile, the repatriates who have no relatives are staying in hotels.
09:19And according to the DMW, they are trying to raise the financial aid
09:24for OFWs from conflict zones like Lebanon
09:27so that they can go home safely instead of going to war and return home.
09:32That's the latest from IA.
09:34Emil?
09:35Thank you very much.
09:36Raffy Tiba.
09:39An ambulance was one of the people who were ticketed by the MMDA
09:43after passing through Edsa Busway earlier.
09:46There was also a patient who was seen as an ambulance.
09:49But when the authorities talked to the driver,
09:53he did not show his travel ticket and ORCR.
09:56According to the driver who was going to Mandaluyong,
09:59he did not show his travel ticket.
10:02Some motorists who drive vehicles were also ticketed.
10:06The registration is now in place.
10:10Some local governments have provided animal care services to the country,
10:14including free food and vaccines against rabies.
10:18Dano Tingkungco was able to talk.
10:25Just like our children or ourselves, our pets also need care.
10:31One of the programs held on the 85th founding anniversary of Quezon City
10:35is the free vaccination against rabies, vaccination,
10:39and the placement of microchips in pets.
10:42Fur parents in the Quezon Memorial Circle,
10:45like Sheila and Christine,
10:48who brought their one-year-old Aspe, Atlas, to be vaccinated.
10:52When he sneezes, he looks for a female dog.
10:58When he goes out, he's just free.
11:02We are just students.
11:07Esteva brought her nine-year-old pet, Chloe, to be consulted.
11:12She said it was her first time to consult a pet,
11:14and for now, the feeling was not good.
11:17It's just the worming and the consultation.
11:20I'll just let them check because I'm a bit lazy to eat.
11:23Personally, I don't really bring it to my expenses.
11:27This type of project is very helpful
11:30because it adds to the initiative of the owners
11:33to take better care of their pets.
11:38This is our goal to bridge the gap.
11:40We do understand and we do recognize
11:42that not everyone can afford to get the necessary veterinary care.
11:47Aside from providing free healthcare to pets,
11:50the main goal is to vaccinate all rabies-free pets,
11:56especially those who were vaccinated during the lockdown.
12:00We have a timeline to eliminate rabies or the death by humans due to rabies by 2030.
12:07So, our efforts to make our city rabies-free,
12:12to make our space safer, the city safe,
12:16a lot of our cases of rabies right now are from pets that are not vaccinated.
12:23And this is simply because,
12:27one, they don't have time.
12:29That's not the reason why we don't get vaccinated.
12:32Aside from QC, free programs were also held in other places in Metro Manila and the province.
12:38Like in Iloilo, where free vaccination against rabies was included in the PAPANRA.
12:45For GMA Integrated News, I'm Donna Tingcun.
12:47We'll be back in 24 hours.

13:50After a system glitch,
13:52his name was not on the list.
13:54Nadine said that this was different
13:56because things were taken care of properly.
13:59The Sparkle GMA Artist Center reached out to Nadine
14:02to make sure that the incident would not happen again.
14:06You didn't get hit or anything after that?
14:09No. Actually, no.
14:10Because in the first place, they invited me.
14:13So, nothing happened to me.
14:15I talked to my mom.
14:18My mom said,
14:19just let it be.
14:21Be positive.
14:23I'm so happy because if it wasn't for that news,
14:28my name wouldn't be loud.
14:31Right?
14:32So, I thought,

14:53there's always a but.
14:55But,
14:56I'm very proud of where you are now.
14:58Of course, there are regrets like,
15:00I wish this, I wish that.
15:01But when that happens,
15:04it won't be like this now.
15:06Yuwen is very lively in the interview.
15:09At 11 years old,
15:10he has a big dream.
15:12What is your dream to become an artist?
15:15International artist.

15:26He doesn't have a double.
15:28You said you want to go abroad.
15:29Which country do you want to go?
15:31First,
15:33Japan.
15:34Japan?
15:35Why Japan?
15:38They said,
15:39it's one of the most beautiful countries in the world.
15:43And,
15:44it has a lot of futuristic stuff.
15:47There's a bathroom with a see-through.
15:49And when you lock it,
15:51it becomes the color of a pattern.
15:55The two also told stories
15:57that gave them joy.
15:59Family for Nadine,
16:01and latest gadgets for Yuwen.
16:04When we're together,
16:06we just go out.
16:07Like,

16:14I hope all of us.
16:15Let's go.
16:16I'll just pick you up.
16:18I want to try.
16:20Because,
16:21it's a fact.
