01:57 This is our first stop of the day.
01:59 It's Pop-a-Nana and we got the banana popcorn in a souvenir bucket.
02:06 They have several different souvenir buckets.
02:08 I wanted the one with the selfie stick.
02:11 Everything that we are eating today I have had before and I have opinions.
02:15 So I'm the expert. I'm always the expert, but I'm really the expert today.
02:19 They have these big clusters of popcorn that's just covered in this syrupy, sweet banana flavoring.
02:31 It's the best part.
02:32 Not every piece is drenched in it.
02:35 So you get some more plain pieces. You get some pieces that have a lot of flavoring.
02:39 What does it taste like?
02:41 So if you guys ever remember that banana candy, like those little...
02:45 They came in a little carton and they looked like a bunch of little bananas.
02:48 So they had like a banana flavor, but they weren't like overly banana.
02:52 It was just mostly sugar and sweet.
02:54 That's exactly what this tastes like.
02:56 So you get like a hint of banana at the end, but it's basically kettle corn with banana flavoring.
03:02 And it's so good. And it's so fresh.
03:05 This is the PX41 Punch.
03:08 Somewhere in the lore, the PX41 is what turns minions evil.
03:14 This is a lemonade with strawberry and kiwi.
03:17 And I generally am like, I don't want theme park juice.
03:22 I want a theme park drink.
03:24 But the drinks in Minionland, I actually do really recommend.
03:28 They are very flavorful and kind of give off mocktail vibes.
03:32 Let's try it. Oh, it got Pop Rocks on the top.
03:34 You can hear them popping.
03:35 Can you hear it a little?
03:38 I think if you eat one...

03:48 Wait, let me actually taste the drink first.

03:53 You have to get the Pop Rocks in your mouth first and then drink the drink.
03:57 So then it like fizzles and you get this whole experience that you just ate something that's essentially going to make you evil.
04:04 The icing is probably the least desirable part of the entire drink.
04:09 That's never to say that it's bad.
04:11 It just has that colored icing flavor.
04:15 So it's a bit bitter.
04:17 But the drink itself, it is very bright, like it says in the description.
04:21 It tastes like lemonade, but you're definitely getting kiwi.
04:24 You're definitely getting strawberry.
04:26 And then you get a free souvenir cup.
04:28 The cutest souvenir cup, might I add.
04:31 Wait, there's one that's cuter and it's the next drink.
04:35 But you got to get both of them.

04:44 Okay, so we just had the evil minions drink.

04:53 It is banana flavored soda with a whipped cream on top and graham cracker topping.
04:58 It is my favorite drink out of the two.
05:00 Although the other one's really refreshing.
05:03 This one is banana.
05:05 Throughout the day we are going to have a lot of different banana things.
05:09 But each one is distinctly a banana, a different banana flavor.
05:13 So like the popcorn tasted like banana candy.
05:16 This one kind of tastes like banana pie.
05:19 Like it's a soda, but you also do get that creaminess to it.
05:24 That makes it taste like banana pie.
05:26 And the graham cracker crust on top just makes it perfect.
05:29 I have definitely sucked one of these down in three seconds flat.
05:35 Because when it's really hot outside, these are so refreshing.
05:38 And again, you get a cute souvenir cup.
05:41 So I've had popcorn and lots of sugar with these two drinks.
05:45 So I need to actually get some food now.
05:48 And I've got to feed my kid.
05:49 So let's go to Minions Cafe.

06:07 He's painting what used to be blue, now all yellow.
06:10 This is a reimagining of the production central area.
06:13 So this building used to be Monsters Cafe.
06:17 And then what is now Villain Con used to be the old Shrek ride.
06:22 But the Minions came, they took it over, and now it is Minion Land.
06:26 Let's go eat.

06:43 Wait, everything looks so good.
06:45 So this is the Agnes Honeymoon Soup.
06:48 Agnes made this soup herself, okay.
06:50 It is a green tomato soup with basil oil on top, pork belly, and a tomato gummy.
07:01 So it's not actually like a real gummy bear.
07:04 It is like a tomato paste that is then flash frozen into like this gummy bear shape.
07:11 And then it melts, and it's just like a nice little topping for your honeymoon soup.
07:17 Okay, I'm going to try it.
07:19 Oh, it also comes with a pimento grilled cheese.
07:23 Oh my gosh.
07:28 Oh, I'm not mad at that.
07:29 I'm not mad at that at all.
07:31 Oh my gosh.
07:33 Get a little tippity-tip, a little dunk-dunk.
07:39 This is fresh.
07:41 She is very hot.
07:42 I got to cool off.
07:47 I'm going to talk about the grilled cheese first just because, like, I love it so much.
07:50 So this is a pimento grilled cheese.
07:52 It also has like almost this like chimichurri type of sauce inside of it.
07:59 It is delicious.
08:00 So it's like what you think of the ultimate grilled cheese.
08:04 So it has like the gooey cheese that kind of just drips out, but then it has the stretchy cheese as well.
08:10 And like it's so well seasoned.
08:14 If you can make a grilled cheese well seasoned, but the chimichurri, like, or whatever they call that,
08:20 they don't specify what it is, it tastes like a chimichurri.
08:23 And I guess it's just a part of like the pimento, the house-made pimento that they make.
08:27 But it's so good.
08:29 I'm going to try the soup.
08:35 It has a little bit of kick to it.
08:37 So to me, green tomatoes are a little bit sweeter than red tomatoes.
08:42 And it has like more of an earthy flavor.
08:45 And then the basil oil on top of it just gives it like that nice Italian feel to it.
08:52 The pork belly has a nice crisp, smoky flavor, a nice chew that is an addition to the soup.
09:00 Because like I feel like a lot of times when you're eating soup, it's kind of one note.
09:04 You like you want something crunchy, you want something, you know, creamy inside of it.
09:09 So all of these things work together.
09:11 Now, in the Minions movie, do I think her honeymoon soup actually tasted this way?
09:17 No, but this is a really good take on it.
09:21 And I think it really does elevate the whole idea of like theme park food.
09:25 Like this is really themed to a movie, but it's delicious.
09:30 And you can see yourself eating it over and over and over again.
09:33 It's so delicious.
09:35 For my children.

09:46 This is the Fredonia Festival of Mac and Cheese.
09:50 And the Minions are enjoying the festival.
09:52 You see they're just hanging out in the mac and cheese.
09:55 This is a white cheddar sauce mac and cheese with creamy shells.

10:01 They have like the big shells, so I know it's just like so much sauce in there.
10:05 And then it comes with a mini banana.
10:07 Julia was telling me a fun fact about these bananas is that they have to get so many of them in there only from one place in Costa Rica.
10:15 So, you know, Universal is keeping a small business alive with these mini bananas.
10:22 You got to peel it.
10:24 Oh yeah, okay. Hold on.

11:17 Never sleep on a kid's meal.
11:19 It's affordable and it's enough. It's more food than you think it is.
11:23 It's not just for children.
11:25 It comes with the Minions Tots.
11:27 I like bang for your buck.
11:29 You get one, two, three, four, five Minions Tots.
11:32 That's all you need.
11:34 You can get a side order of Minions Tots to go with anything.
11:37 But you get your mac and cheese, your Minions Tots, your mini banana.
11:41 And it's just cute and you feel like a child at heart.
11:45 You can see just the big old flakes of salt on top of them.
11:49 They are well seasoned little babies.
11:53 Eat them.
11:55 You ate him.
11:57 Bite it. It's a crispy boy.

12:02 This is Otto's Noodle Bowl.
12:04 So when it comes to your table, the udon noodles are inside the cutest Minion cup.
12:08 It's Otto, essentially.
12:10 And the noodles are just inside of him.
12:12 And they bring the cup up and the noodles fall into the bowl.
12:16 And then they pour the broth on top.
12:19 They come with roasted corn, a dumpling,
12:23 sorry egg, and roasted horchata.
12:27 And then a tonkatsu broth.
12:30 So the pancetta is seasoned well.
12:34 And the corn, the roasted corn goes good with it as well.
12:38 The dumpling, the dumpling is kind of swimming around in there.
12:42 I mean, it tastes delicious in there.
12:44 But it's not, I don't think it necessarily like adds anything to the dish.
12:49 I would recommend this if you are somebody who has wanted to try something similar to this,
12:54 an udon noodle soup, but you've always been like afraid to try it.
12:58 This is very much like an entry level soup.
13:02 It's not for your aficionado who knows all of the different names
13:05 and all of the differences between the noodles and whatnot.
13:10 It's not for you.
13:11 And you probably wouldn't think that it's the best you've had.
13:14 But if you've never had it before, it's really delicious.
13:18 Minions Land officially opened about two weeks ago.
13:20 But while this was in soft opening,
13:23 this was the number one item that everybody wanted to come and get.
13:28 So much so that the first time I came, I was not able to get it
13:31 because they had ran out of all of the ingredients.
13:33 Mind you, I'm first on the scene.
13:35 So I came within the first week that they were in soft opening,
13:38 and I could not get it.
13:39 So I had to come back the next week.
13:41 Lucy's Top Secret Salmon, one of the coolest looking items on the menu
13:46 because it has the blue rice.
13:48 So it's blue jasmine rice, edamame, cucumber salad,
13:52 and then on top of your salmon you get lipstick taser sauce,
13:59 which is essentially like a Thai chili or a sweet chili sauce.
14:04 I'm just going to put some more on top.
14:06 I'm a saucy girl.
14:07 I like a lot of sauce.
14:09 More, more, more.
14:13 That's a beautiful bite.
14:14 It's going to be a big bite, but it's real pretty.
14:17 Let's try it.

14:23 I didn't get cucumber.
14:25 It is $19.99, so it is one of the more expensive items on the menu,
14:29 but it's not actually that expensive for salmon.
14:33 Like I've paid a lot of money for a piece of salmon.
14:36 And, like, this is legit.
14:38 It has, like, that typical, like, salmon wood-fired flavor.
14:44 The sweet chili just adds to the flavor.
14:48 And then the rice is kind of the star, if it makes any sense.
14:52 Like, you think, like, oh, it's just a blue rice, but it's jasmine rice.
14:55 So it has that, like, nice, like, floral scent to it.
15:00 And then the cucumbers and the edamame are just, like, you know,
15:04 good for vegetables.
15:05 You feel like you're eating a little bit healthy.
15:08 I'm still a little perplexed on what the actual theming of Minions Cafe is.
15:13 This is, like, the food factory,
15:16 and they're not exactly making the food correctly.
15:20 Like, we got spaghetti inside of a shoe here.
15:24 We got a burger with no bun but a smiley face.
15:31 We got banana salad.
15:33 There's rocks on top of this burger with a mouth that's a banana.
15:38 He's making a smiley face.
15:40 I just don't think the Minions understand what a balanced meal is.

15:54 We wanted to show you more of Minions Cafe.
15:57 There is three rooms, so we're going to move around just so we can see more.

16:13 Let's dig in to the second round of food here at Minions Cafe.
16:17 First, I'm going to do the Steak and Cheese Ray.
16:21 Now, apparently I've done this wrong.
16:24 I lifted the top up and put the cheese on top before,
16:27 but the chef told me to just give it a good squirt, so cheese ray.
16:33 This is a French onion dipped roast beef with special sauce and pimento cheese.
16:40 It smells so delicious.
16:41 It smells like French onion soup.
16:45 All right.
16:47 It's a messy boy.
16:49 I don't know how to make it not messy.
16:52 French onion dipped roast beef is not anything that is new to this theme park.
16:58 Remember, for the Crispz episode, we had the roast beef sandwich,
17:03 which is essentially their cousins, maybe distant cousins.
17:09 They have the same base recipe.
17:11 It is so delicious, and I feel like everybody has, like, that dish that, like, their mom makes.
17:17 They're like, "Oh, my God, it's so good.
17:19 I don't know what she puts in it."
17:20 And that is exactly what this tastes like.
17:23 It is just so delicious.
17:26 And I don't think the ingredients are complex, but they just go together so well.
17:30 This is Mel's Meatball Mountain.
17:32 It is a wood oven baked stuffed pizza, and Mel made it.
17:36 It is her mountain.
17:38 I'm going to use it with a fork and knife instead of just being a savage
17:43 and, like, picking it up with my bare hands.
17:46 What is a good cross-section?
17:50 I feel like I should get a meatball.

18:23 So it's kind of like you get to play with your food and put it together on your own.
18:28 And that's what I love about it.
18:30 You can never be too messy with your food here at Meno's Cafe.

18:37 So this is the Banana Bread Beer.
18:38 It is a malt beverage brewed with fruits.
18:43 Smells like bananas.
18:45 That's literally the description.
18:47 Are you a beer connoisseur suddenly?
18:50 After Busch Gardens, I got tired of saying, "I don't like beer."
18:55 Me pretending that I am a beer connoisseur, which you all know I am not.
19:00 Y'all already know how I feel about beer.
19:02 I wish I was more sophisticated to tell you what this tastes like.
19:05 I'm not going to play like I'm a beer connoisseur.
19:09 I'm not a beer girl.
19:11 I'm not a beer person.
19:12 So I did take like a little beer class.
19:14 Yes, I did research.
19:18 Now I can tell you the type of beer Chelsea likes and the type of beer I like are two very different things.
19:24 I like a beer that tastes like it's not a beer.
19:27 And this one is one of them.
19:30 So it's banana flavored.
19:32 It's made with fruits.
19:34 Let's give it a go.

19:44 So it's not super sweet.
19:45 I think you will like this, Chelsea, because it's not sweet.
19:48 It just has like that very -- I don't want to say sharp banana flavor, but it does.
19:54 It like has like a -- you taste the beer.
19:57 It's the hoppiness, the maltiness, all of the words she likes to use.
20:01 But then you get like a big banana punch when you smell it, when you drink it.
20:07 And it's not overly sweet.

20:13 It is like a Hefeweizen.
20:14 See, I know a little bit about a Hefeweizen.
20:16 And because like it's very close to fall, Hefeweizens are like so popular in the fall time.

20:26 I'm just stealing all of Julia's stuff.
20:28 If it makes you feel any better, Julia gave me this.
20:32 Beer used to be called liquid bread because it's like made from yeast and all of the ingredients that you would put in bread.
20:39 And so for this to be called banana beer, banana bread beer, you know, banana bread, liquid bread, liquid bananas.
20:49 Okay, so next we have Carl's Crispy Cauliflower.
20:52 We always want to showcase a plant-based option for every theme park.
20:57 There should be multiple in almost every location that we go to.
21:02 And I wanted to at least try one.
21:05 So this is a fried cauliflower and then we have that same like sweet chili sauce that we had before with the salmon.
21:14 And then all of those same accoutrements that came with the salmon as well.
21:18 But instead, you get your cauliflower.
21:21 So let's have a bite.
21:24 So I did pour my sauce on first.
21:26 But when I know when it comes out to the table, it is very crispy to start off with,
21:32 which is like my number one pet peeve with fried cauliflower.
21:36 Like it's a literal fried vegetable.
21:39 It's going to be soft on the inside.
21:41 So I need to have like a nice crispy crunch on the outside.
21:45 And it does have it.
21:46 And then the sweet chili just adds this extra sweetness and spiciness that you want.
21:51 And then, of course, you get that coconut jasmine rice, the edamame and then the cucumbers for freshness.
21:58 It is $15.99, so a great plant based option if you're here at Minions Cafe.
22:05 Uncle Drew's belly filling pork sandwich.
22:08 So it's just a whole lot of porchetta in there.
22:12 And then, you know, arugula for balance.
22:15 There's also a sauce at the bottom.
22:18 Is it a secret sauce?
22:25 There is an apple butter bacon jam on this.
22:28 It got a little spice to it.
22:29 There is a tickle on the side of my tongue.
22:33 For me, the pancetta is just a little too fatty.
22:39 But if you like like you like a pork sandwich, you like a fatty porchetta.
22:46 And that's like your thing.
22:48 And I know people who really, really enjoy pork sandwiches.
22:51 This is a very delicious item.
22:54 For me, it's just a little bit too much.
22:57 I might you might have to roll me out of here after I finish the belly busting pork sandwich.

24:08 And I feel like this is going to be a good experience for us all.
24:13 But like sometimes people think Adriana likes everything.
24:16 There is nothing she doesn't like.
24:18 That's not true.
24:21 The rock is beautiful.
24:23 Otto's pet rock is wonderful.
24:25 I see why Otto fell in love with it.
24:29 But the flavor is not my favorite.
24:33 It's supposed to be peanut butter and jelly flavored mousse.
24:39 Peanut butter and jelly flavored mousse.
24:43 So it's not that I don't.
24:44 I love peanut butter.
24:45 I think peanut butter is delicious.
24:47 I'm not sure why peanut butter inside this mousse is not the tastiest.
24:53 It kind of has like this almost artificial flavor to me.
24:58 Now, it could just be like the sugar that they use.
25:01 It could be something that makes it stiffer that I just don't agree with.
25:04 But it is not my favorite.
25:06 Do I think that it is a very beautiful treat?
25:08 And it is artfully made.
25:11 Look at the peanut butter and the jelly.
25:15 It's so cool.
25:17 Unfortunately, it just doesn't work for me.
25:19 Julia is going to try it so she can know how I feel about it.

25:47 This is a pineapple caramel Swiss roll with a passion fruit banana.
25:53 This is not a real banana.
25:55 It is a banana that is like another mousse or like custard.
26:02 When I first came to Minions Land,
26:05 I brought my boyfriend home one of these Swiss rolls,
26:09 and we had a good time with it, okay?
26:12 It's so like moist and delicious, and the inside, the filling is just like so good.
26:20 But I've got to actually try it for you guys.
26:22 Can't talk about the past times.
26:28 I really enjoy that it's pineapple because you would assume that it's banana.
26:34 And like when food looks like one thing but tastes like another,
26:38 it takes you on this taste experience where you're like, "This isn't what I thought I was going to have."
26:44 It's like the same thing as when you think you picked up your Coke but you picked up your water,
26:48 and you're like, "Ugh," because your brain is just like not ready to receive what it received.
26:53 And like this is that but in a very, very good way.
26:57 So like instead of those creamy, I don't know, earthy flavors of like banana,
27:04 you get like these bright, pungent punches of flavor from the passion fruit and the pineapple.
27:12 Bob's Teddy Bear Chocolate Cream Puff.
27:14 I just love him because he's so cute and he looks like a teddy bear.
27:17 Like the texture actually looks like what a teddy bear's texture would look like.
27:21 And then inside we have this chocolate mousse.
27:25 Let's try it.
27:33 You can't go wrong with chocolate.
27:36 Honestly, I've never had anything chocolate that I'm like, "No."
27:40 So if I were to pick a dessert, that was my favorite dish.
27:44 You have to try when you're at Minions Cafe.
