A couple from Inverness celebrate their 60 wedding anniversary and reveal the secret to a happy marriage.

00:27 Yeah, we're very lucky indeed. We've had pretty good help.

00:32 Which has made a big difference.
00:34 And how old were you when you first met?
00:37 Well, I was 21.
00:41 You were 25.
00:43 I was 24.
00:45 And the big question is, what's the secret to a happy marriage?
00:50 Well, tolerance.
00:53 Is it happy?
00:55 Looking after each other is the answer.
00:58 And what is it like for the two of you, being part of the community in Inverness?
01:04 Oh yeah, we enjoy that.
01:06 We are Indonesians, you know, and we've been in this house almost 60 years,
01:11 which is a long time.
01:13 And we've had lovely neighbours.
01:15 Our neighbours were really like family to us.
01:18 The children grew up together.
01:21 We've seen him go to school, weddings, grandchildren.
01:25 We had the same neighbour for almost 58 years.
01:28 He died a couple of years ago.
01:30 And the next one, another two houses along,
01:35 he's been here the same length of time as we have.
