00:00 >> There's been a lot of talk nationally about your pregame speech and
00:04 your aggressive play calling.
00:06 I think Skip Bayless called it venomous vengeance.
00:09 I'm just curious what your thoughts are on that and
00:12 kind of how your words have been skewed a little bit.
00:14 >> Yeah, I mean, I don't know Skip at all.
00:16 I've never had a conversation with him.
00:20 I've watched him enough to know how often he gets it wrong.
00:22 So I mean, that sounds about right.
00:24 But I mean, ultimately, here's what I say, we're playing to win the game, right?
00:28 And you saw a 15 second clip from a window view outside the house of what
00:33 happens in the locker room, right?
00:35 I know our locker room.
00:36 I'm in the house 100% of the time.
00:38 I know how our players felt going into that game.
00:41 And I know what it takes to motivate our players.
00:42 That's my job to motivate our players, right?
00:45 He has a job, I have a job too, to get out there and to perform on the field.
00:48 But inside that house, they felt a certain way.
00:51 They felt a certain way about a group stomping on the O.
00:53 They felt a certain way about guys talking to him in the pregame.
00:56 And I'm proud of those guys cuz what they decided to do is talk with their pads.
01:00 Right, they didn't wanna do anything extra afterwards.
01:03 They wanna talk with their pads and they did that on Saturday.
01:05 I'm also grateful and can clearly acknowledge that the attention that we got
01:12 this Saturday in large part was due to Deion and what he's doing to college football.
01:17 And if anybody can't see what he's done for college football and
01:19 how he's bringing excitement to college football, you're crazy, right?
01:22 And I said that last week as well.
01:24 He's done a lot for the game.
01:25 He's building something over there.
01:27 I think that's really, really clear.
01:28 There's no secret there.
01:29 But it wouldn't matter if I was playing my ten year old son on the other sideline.
01:33 I'm gonna do everything I can to win.
01:34 If I'm playing Bill Belichick, I'm gonna do everything I can to win.
01:37 Did I go for it on fourth down?
01:38 Yeah, I have every game this year, right?
01:40 I've gone for it nine times.
01:41 Did I go for a two point conversion?
01:42 Yeah, I've done it three out of the four games this year.
01:45 And if we play again tomorrow, I'm gonna do the same thing.
01:47 I'm gonna do everything I can to win a game and
01:49 everything I can to motivate my team.
01:51 So that to me is classless, what he's saying there, but
01:56 I'm not really worried about it.
