00:47 unfortunately we screwed ourselves, so we were too far behind at that point.

00:54 you have two turnovers right there back to back, you're gonna kill us.

01:07 >> Yeah, I mean, they're really good defensively, their front,
01:12 I mean, they're incredible.
01:13 So it's tough to run on them.
01:17 Obviously, we spread them out later on, and
01:19 we're able to get that going once we wore them down a little bit.
01:21 But yeah, we just gotta be better early on.
01:24 Disappointing as a whole just cuz we didn't win the game, but
01:27 short week for us.
01:28 We got a divisional opponent coming up, and so
01:31 gotta look at the very good things fixed and move on.
01:33 Can't have time to lick our wounds.

01:41 How important is it to get this behind you with a short week,
01:43 knowing what you have ahead?
01:44 >> Yeah, I mean, it's a long season, so obviously we wanted to win this one.
01:48 It was a big game for us.
01:50 Didn't come out and play our best game by any means, but
01:53 it was a divisional game that means just a bit more for us.
01:56 So gotta look at the film, fix the things that are easily fixable.
02:00 And just mentality-wise, we gotta start faster.
02:02 So there's a couple things that we can immediately do if we can control those
02:06 things, so that's a good part about it.

02:13 >> I mean, it's kinda hard to say.
02:18 I mean, like I said, they're talented up front.
02:21 But no, we just weren't good as a whole skill group-wise.
02:26 We weren't good enough to get the ball out quickly for our guys up front.
02:28 We knew they were gonna bring some pressure.
02:30 And I know everybody's probably gonna take a little bit of blame on this one.
02:33 So we just have to be better as a unit, there's no doubt about that.

02:38 >> It's good, took a couple ones, but yeah, get up and move on.
02:42 >> I know you've talked before, just praise Mike for his dependability.
02:48 In a situation like that where you guys are so far down,
02:52 just what does it mean to be able to have a guy like that that can step up,
02:55 like you said, and made that unbelievable catch, and kind of reignite some hope?
03:00 >> Yeah, I mean, at that point, we're just kinda hoping that we get the ball back
03:03 quickly and try to get a quick score that make the game interesting.
03:05 But yeah, I mean, that's the kind of drive that when you look at it,
03:10 it's like, all right, everybody's just doing their job.
03:12 Mike's making a couple incredible plays, but everybody's doing their job, and
03:15 that's what we need to be doing.
03:16 And it's quite frankly that simple in offense, and so
03:19 each person has to do their one-eleventh, and that's how we have success.
03:22 >> I know that each time you go out there, with this still being a new team for you,
03:28 you're able to learn a little bit more about yourselves collectively.
03:32 Were you able to learn anything new this go around?
03:34 >> I think just the, I don't wanna exaggerate on this or
03:39 overanalyze by any means, just we just need to start faster.
03:44 It's a Monday night game, we should be pumped up and ready to go,
03:47 be aggressive as an offense.
03:48 We're damn good when we can't do our job, so just need to take advantage of it.
03:52 So I don't know, we'll see, a little bit more juice next week.

04:00 Is that a disappointing aspect, that you guys didn't match their physicality?
04:04 >> Absolutely, I mean, we kind of, I mean, I've talked about it over and over again.
04:08 We wanna be the most physical team when we go out there.
04:11 We've had a couple games where we ran the ball,
04:13 and we had two defensive mid stops when we needed them.
04:16 But offensively today, we were definitely not the most physical team by any means.
