00:00 to be able to show that we can grind it out or be explosive, run the ball to win,
00:05 pass the ball to win, and we need to continue to grow and develop in the
00:13 explosive play area. I will tell you this, in the locker room at halftime that was
00:19 a point that I made to the offense is do not get bored, and when I say the
00:25 offense, the offensive coaches, do not get bored with grinding this game out
00:31 because it is working for us in a style that is going to allow us to beat this
00:38 Iowa football team. The fourth and one conversions, the sequencing of how
00:46 we're calling the plays, knowing when we're gonna go for it on fourth down,
00:50 like grind it out. It wasn't like we went at halftime and said we need to be more
00:55 explosive in this game. No, let's not get bored with how it's going, and what was
00:59 interesting is if you look at our yards per carry in the first half, and then
01:03 look our yards per carry in the third quarter, and then look at our yards per
01:07 carry in the fourth quarter, we just kind of kept chipping away at them and we
01:12 didn't average a great yards per carry in the first half, but in the third
01:15 quarter and the fourth quarter it was excellent. So part of it is kind of
01:20 sometimes just the style of how you have to play to win the game and to control
01:24 the game, if that makes sense.
