00:00 Good morning to all of you.
00:02 The time is now midweek, Wednesday, September 27, 2023.
00:08 In our latest satellite images, we are continuously monitoring the low-pressure area
00:13 that is outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility,
00:16 which is more than 1,425 kilometers east or the east extreme northern Luzon.
00:23 Based on our latest data,
00:25 we can say that this LPA has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility today.
00:30 Although, for now, the chance of it being a storm is still small.
00:34 And the trap or extension of the low-pressure area
00:37 will bring heavy rain in the sky
00:40 in a large part of Mindanao and Central and Eastern Visayas.
00:45 Although it is not that strong,
00:46 the Southwest Monsoon is still affecting or long and particular in a part of Palawan and Occidental Mindoro.
00:53 So, we expect that in our country,
00:55 in a part of Palawan and Occidental Mindoro,
00:58 the sky will be flooded with rain.
01:00 Meanwhile, in Manila and the other parts of Luzon and Western Visayas,
01:05 we expect that the possibility of generally fair weather,
01:10 but still possible rain, isolated rain showers and thunderstorms,
01:14 usually from afternoon to night,
01:16 sometimes there can be strong rains,
01:19 even though it will not last long.
01:21 This is due to localized thunderstorms.
01:23 Aside from this low-pressure area,
01:25 we do not have any other weather system that is affecting our country at the moment.
01:31 And in this period of time here in Luzon,
01:33 we can see that this part of Palawan and Occidental Mindoro,
01:37 like the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat,
01:40 will still bring heavy rain in the sky.
01:43 Meanwhile, in the other parts of Luzon,
01:46 we expect that the possibility of rain showers from afternoon to night,
01:51 sometimes it can last up to 2 hours.
01:54 In the thunderstorm advisory that is being released,
01:57 we will know what specific places will have rain showers today and how long.
02:04 Meanwhile, the temperature in Lauag is 24 to 32 degrees Celsius in Baguio, 17 to 24.
02:10 In Manila, it is up to 33 degrees Celsius,

02:31 We can see that this part of Central and Eastern Visayas
02:35 will have cloudy skies with rain showers today,
02:38 like the trough or what is called the extension of the low-pressure area.
02:43 Meanwhile, in Western Visayas, we expect isolated or dry rain showers from afternoon to night.
02:49 The temperature in Iloilo is 24 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:54 In Cebu, it is 26 to 32 degrees Celsius,
02:57 while in Tacloban, it is 24 to 32 degrees Celsius.
03:00 A large part of Mindanao, we expect to have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers.
03:07 It will have rain showers and scattered rain showers,
03:10 like the trough or the extension of the low-pressure area.
03:13 The temperature in Zamboanga is 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
03:17 In Caguindiooro, it is 25 to 32 degrees Celsius,
03:20 while in Davao, it is 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
03:25 Meanwhile, we do not have a high-level gale warning in any part of our country.
03:31 This means that our countrymen who have sea vehicles and small boats are safe to sail.
03:37 But still be careful if we have sudden thunderstorms that can suddenly bring a gust of wind.
03:44 So be careful because this can trigger or trigger a sudden strong wave of the sea.
03:52 Let's look at the weather forecast for the next few days.
03:55 Here in the parts of Camanilan and Baguio,
03:57 we expect to experience isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.

04:08 will also be affected, so it will be cloudy until Friday.
04:12 Meanwhile, in Cebu and Davao, tomorrow, we expect the sky to be cloudy.
04:17 But when Friday and Saturday come, it will be drizzling.
