00:00 The plan is to hold a new diplomatic protest by the Department of Foreign Affairs against China

00:06 and because of the floating barrier placed by them in the Bajo de Masinloc,

00:09 which is the center of our exclusive economic zone.

00:13 If a senator can do it, he should call the Chinese ambassador and make it clear.

00:26 The placement of the floating barrier in the Bajo de Masinloc this Wednesday

00:31 is not the first time it happened.

00:33 According to National Security Advisor Eduardo Año,

00:36 China has placed a floating chain before

00:39 after a few months of standoff in the Bajo de Masinloc in 2012.

00:43 They placed floating barriers there like a chain.

00:45 Those are the initials that they don't want to bring our vessels near.

00:50 And then for a while, they removed it.

00:53 So now, it's the same again.

00:55 Now, the floating barrier placed by China in the Bajo de Masinloc has been removed

01:00 and the floating chain has been removed so it can no longer be used.

01:03 The government also condemned the blocking of the China Coast Guard's boat

01:07 in a fishing village in Pinoy Roon.

01:09 We saw that our fishing village was almost hit by a boat.

01:15 Then our fishing village's life will be in danger.

01:19 We are calling on the Chinese government to give instructions to their coast guards

03:11 Another complaint of de la Rosa is that the DFA should give confidential funds.

03:19 The Philippines is now campaigning to become a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.

03:27 If we're on the council, we will have a voice in these issues, global issues.

03:33 Our aim is to try and manage our disputes with China through the rule of law and international law.
