Portland's Bailey family speak ahead of the AFL grand final which will see Zac Bailey take the field for the Brisbane Lions.
Transcript
00:00 Alright, I'm joined by Zach Bailey's family in Portland. We've got Brent, his father,
00:04 Georgie's step-mum, Meredith and Bill, grandparents. Guys, looking forward to the weekend. Zach
00:09 playing in the grand final.
00:10 Yeah, it's going to be amazing to watch him on this journey. He's come such a long way
00:15 with the team. So we're just super excited. It's going to be an absolutely amazing weekend
00:20 and we're all cheering him on with the Brisbane Lions. So it's going to be good.
00:25 That's good. I'll ask you, Brent, how do you reckon the Lions will go this weekend?
00:29 You reckon they're a good shot?
00:30 Yeah, I reckon they are. They were sneaked home by a couple of guys. There'll be a close
00:34 game, but yeah, they should get home.
00:38 And Bill and Meredith, you must be proud of your grandson?
00:41 Yes, he's done really well. I think the blood pressure will be up watching this Collingwood
00:46 Brisbane game.
00:47 Both guys have taken extra blood pressure tablets.
00:51 But yeah, the Dimes have done well under Fagan and we're very proud of all of them.
00:58 And you told me most of you used to be Collingwood supporters as well, Collingwood on the weekend.
01:04 I'm there for whoever played Collingwood.
01:08 Yes, we got them young, although the other grandmother was an Adelaide supporter and
01:13 we had a bit of competition to see which ones we could get.
01:17 But I'm sure you'll all be firmly in the Brisbane game.
01:21 Well, thanks for that guys. Appreciate it and good luck on the weekend for Zach.
01:25 Thank you.
