Y&R Casts Mark Grossman's Mom For a Special Role

00:04 City. It's a face you haven't seen on screen before and turns out it's a very special person

00:09 to Mark Grossman. Well, if you're thinking who it might be, then it's none other than his mom.

00:13 Let's get into more detail. In a recent spoiler The Young and the Restless, we saw the one and

00:23 only Michelle Stafford aka Phyllis dishing out some hot tea at the Crimson Lights coffee shop.

00:28 But what's the twist you ask? Well, she wasn't just talking with anyone, she was giving the

00:32 lowdown to freshly returned heartthrob Danny portrayed by Michael Damian. Phyllis is leaning

00:37 in and ranting her side of the story and Danny is sitting there leaning forward, eyebrows raised,

00:42 basically making the "alright, I'm listening" facial expressions. So, you know even Danny

00:47 gets tired of hearing her non-stop self-defending talks sometimes. But that's not all that's

00:51 happened because this episode was where things get even more intriguing. Mark Grossman, our

00:56 leading and needless to say ladies man who plays Adam on Young and the Restless, decided to give us

01:00 a sneak peek behind the scenes. He took to his Instagram story and shared a little gem with us.

01:06 And what was it? Well, it was some pics and videos of his mom, Patricia Grossman, hanging out on set.

01:12 Mark also wrote "When mom comes to the studio" and said "We put you to work". His mom was totally

01:18 crushing it and Mark even gave her a big thumbs up for her efforts. In another shot, we see her

01:23 hanging out with the crew, just casually being a part of the Y and her family. Now, we haven't

01:27 seen Mark's mom on screen before and I'm pretty sure it's her first time too. But I'm sure you

01:32 have seen her at the Y and our 50th anniversary party. She was his date, which caused quite a

01:37 scandal because that was the reason where all the fans speculated his and Courtney Hope's breakup.

01:42 Now, if you're wondering when we can see this special cameo on The Young and the Restless,

01:46 then it's in the coming week, right around the time Danny is to make his big return on the show.

01:50 Danny is joining the show from September 28th, so looks like Patricia will be making a cameo
