Speaking on Jeremy Vine, political correspondent for online news site JOE, Ava Evans, said that she is “speechless” after Laurence Fox made a series of remarks about her, including asking: “Who would want to shag that?”
The journalist said that she would “much rather be judged or asked about my work than have people talking about my body.”
Mr Fox has been formally suspended by GB News and taken off air immediately following his comments which have been described as “unacceptable, unjustifiable and indefensible.” Report by Covellm. Like us on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/itn and follow us on Twitter at http://twitter.com/itn

00:00 I mean it's just appalling.
00:01 And I don't know whether you saw it go out live.
00:04 - No.
00:05 No, I didn't.
00:07 - I saw it on your Twitter feed, so you shared it.
00:10 Can you tell me how you feel about that?
00:13 - I think the clip speaks for itself.
00:17 I don't have anything to say about it at all.
00:19 I'm actually a journalist rather than a commentator,
00:24 and I'd much rather be judged or asked about my work
00:26 than have people talking about my body.
00:29 I just think, I don't, sorry I'm a bit speechless.
00:32 I just don't really know what to say to you.
00:34 Actually, do you know this is the sort of talk
00:36 that you worry that men have about you
00:39 when you're not in the room.
00:40 There's always sort of a worry in the back of your mind,
00:42 which is, are people actually interested in what I'm saying
00:45 or what I'm doing,
00:45 or are they just looking at me for physically?
00:48 And I think that that clip proves
00:50 that there are some men who are.
