00:00 You pulled a lot this past week.
00:02 >> Mm-hm.
00:03 >> It seemed like a lot.
00:05 It's anecdotal, I don't have charts.
00:08 Was that a lot?
00:09 Was that more than usual?
00:10 Was that more than last season or season before?
00:13 >> No, it felt like a lot.
00:14 I mean, when you run full speed and another dude that's running full speed,
00:17 you kinda keep track of them.
00:18 So I'd say it was a lot, yeah.
00:20 >> When you guys had the success that you did when you were pulling,
00:23 by my count of the first five, you guys had 52 yards rushing on those five.
00:27 And then you had the one yard touchdown.
00:30 Cuz I feel like, again, you guys are all big guys, so
00:32 you weren't the only one pulling.
00:33 But you're the biggest of the guys pulling.
00:35 What does that feel like when you are 6'5", 340, and pulling three guys?
00:39 >> I mean, it's just, I don't know, I've been kinda in this body my whole life, so
00:42 I always felt heavy.
00:43 But I mean, just me pulling isn't the one getting the job done.
00:46 There's all 11 of us on the field.
00:47 I just did my 111.
00:48 And if it turned out good, that's what I'm supposed to do, so.

00:53 >> What has this Stanford series meant to you as a player?
00:57 You've been a part of some wins and losses and crazy games, crazy finishes.
01:00 >> Yeah, this has always been an interesting game every single time we play them,
01:04 cuz they're always a good team and always ready to go against us.
01:06 Like you said, my freshman year,
01:08 it was one of the first times we lost at home in a minute.
01:10 So that was always a tough one.
01:11 But you can't take this week lightly.
01:15 Stanford's always been a good team, and going down there is always gonna be
01:18 a tough road game.
01:19 So I'm just excited to get after them.
01:21 >> How makes this team able to just block out the outside noise really well and
01:25 focus on the task at hand and just win through?
01:29 >> I'd probably say you just can't really fall into the hype.
01:33 You can't really lean into that.
01:35 And once you've seen that all the time, that'll mess with you mentally.
01:38 That was a big thing that we were talking about last week facing Colorado.
01:40 They had a lot of hype going into the game.
01:42 And that was something that we told ourselves we can't buy into.
01:44 Because if you buy into it,
01:46 that's when you start to get into your head during the game.
01:48 And then that's when the team starts to fall apart,
01:50 because you're scared of something that you never even saw before.
01:52 So once you just block out the outside noise, that's one of the biggest things
01:56 that we would say, just block out the outside noise and
01:58 just worry about what you have to do, we'll be all right.
