00:05 It's a big week. Clemson 0-2 in the ACC trying to get that first win.
00:08 They are heading up to Syracuse to take on the undefeated Orange 4-0 to start
00:14 the season there for Syracuse. Clemson of course 0-2 again in the ACC, 2-2
00:18 for the second time in four years. And the Tigers, of course, started the season
00:23 with that tough loss to Duke and then the overtime heartbreaker last week
00:26 against Ford State. Gonna have to kind of recenter themselves as they take on a
00:29 really hot Syracuse team right now. A team that's beaten Purdue and Army in
00:32 back-to-back weeks. And Syracuse quarterback Garrett Schrader now in his
00:37 fifth season of college football. Spent two years in Mississippi State before
00:40 transferring to Syracuse. Full-time starter there with the Orange now. He
00:44 said last year we played Clemson, we had six or seven starters out and they were
00:48 done for the year. We got the depth, we got the guys coming back, we got
00:51 everything we need. Now we just got to go out and play and we're talented enough
00:54 and we can do it. So just go out, make sure we show up ready to play on
00:59 Saturday and we can beat these guys. Garrett Schrader very confident and for
01:03 good reason. Schrader's played really well so far this year against Purdue. Had
01:07 184 yards through the air but on the ground 25 carries, 195 yards. Average 7.8
01:13 yards per carry there against Purdue and scored four touchdowns on the ground. So
01:17 a guy we saw in week one with Riley Leonard from Duke. A guy who can beat you
01:22 with his legs has given Clemson some problems but that defense for Clemson
01:26 feels like they've got something to say. Dabo Sweeney say earlier this week that
01:30 though they are not a top-10 scoring defense, they're a top-10 defense when it
01:35 comes to making plays, getting off the field and total yardage there as well.
01:39 It's just the fact that Clemson's offense has been scoring some points against
01:43 its own defense as we saw last week with the Kalen DeLoach forced fumble and
01:47 fumble recovery for a touchdown. So Clemson's defense gonna have to do their
01:50 best to slow down a really, really talented quarterback again and Garrett
01:53 Schrader as the Tigers are going to get their first win in the ACC.
