00:00 Your first game in charge of Arsenal was at Bournemouth. I think only two of the starting
00:04 line-ups that day are still at the club. What does that say about the job you and Edou have done?
00:08 Well, obviously a lot of changes. It's been a while now. It's been three and a half years,
00:14 almost four years since that moment. A really special one. A lot of things have changed.
00:20 Many of them are positive and a lot of things on that journey, that's for sure.
00:26 Dani Iriola was born within three months of you, seven miles away. You're almost brothers.
00:33 Well, we know each other really well. We played together, we had fantastic times together. We
00:40 played in Ante Woko, it's a team in San Sebastian that has produced a lot of plays over the years.
00:46 They do fantastic work and we were privileged to be raised there, to be educated there.
00:52 That's the beauty of football, that 30, 40 years later we are together in the Premier League as
00:58 managers, both of them, and I'm really, really happy for him.
01:01 Is there something in the Basque region, Walter, that produces good football coaches?
01:05 Well, first of all is the passion about the game, about football. I think the education
01:10 that we get at level of coaches there is really good. They really take care of the academy. You
01:15 have to see Real Sociedad, Atletico Bilbao, Eibar, all those teams. They do fantastic work to raise
01:21 talent and it's not a coincidence that a lot of players have come through to there.
