00:00 >> What is it like when it's the last time going home, per se?
00:03 Like really hard for you to go to high school across the streets?
00:06 >> Yeah, yeah.
00:08 I don't know, I really haven't thought about that feeling for real yet,
00:13 because I really honestly don't know what's gonna happen.
00:16 But I guess you could say it's pretty cool that you brought it up.
00:20 But I know I have a good amount of people up there that I know, so yeah.
00:26 >> You're gonna have a lot of people at this game?
00:27 >> Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:28 >> Yeah, sure.
00:29 >> What's the key to carrying on momentum that you guys developed over the weekend
00:32 and not losing any of that this week?
00:34 >> Just staying consistent, not getting too big headed, staying leveled,
00:37 doing what we know works.
00:40 Yeah, just basically staying consistent with everything that we're doing.
00:43 >> A lot of your teammates have talked about the standard.
00:46 For you, what is your standard?
00:48 >> My standard is just to always play at a high level.
00:53 Play without the ball as best as I can.
00:59 As best as I can, as I do with the ball.
01:02 So I don't know, my standard is just kinda self-explained,
01:08 you see me play with the ball out there.
01:10 >> How has that change developed over the years,
01:14 Troy, and that we can talk about playing without the ball.
01:16 I think anybody objectively would say you are a considerably better blocker than you
01:20 were two years ago, that's to your credit.
01:22 So how has your standard of improving as a blocker changed?
01:26 How have you gone about improving as a blocker?
01:29 >> I think it's just more of a want to thing.
01:31 Kinda just straining, just making sure I can get my other guys open,
01:37 things like that.
01:38 Other guys open, make sure they're making their plays, things like that.
01:40 Yeah, I like to see everybody win, eat, so that's kinda the deal with me.
01:46 >> With the player that you were after the Alamo Bowl, like a dance first year,
01:51 when Junior first gets here in the spring of 22.
01:54 Would that Troy have executed the route on the second touchdown as well as you just
01:59 did this past weekend?
02:00 Would that Troy of 20 months ago been capable of doing what you just did?
02:05 Is that like, you have to sell that a certain way to get the safety to do what
02:08 he did there?
02:09 >> Yeah, most definitely.
02:10 Honestly, I do think it would have been the same,
02:14 because my freshman year I actually scored on that same exact play against
02:18 Colorado.
02:19 So I actually do think I would have ran it the same almost, yeah, so.
