00:00 But I want to talk to you about rolling up the welcome mat,
00:03 because for me, it was so cathartic.
00:06 And I was thinking, I know for certain when you were writing
00:09 it from your heart, you didn't think it would resonate like
00:13 this, did you?
00:14 No.
00:16 No, literally no.
00:17 And I say it often, and I feel like people are like, OK,
00:19 we get it, Kelsey.
00:20 And I'm like, no, I literally had just made an album that I
00:22 put out in September.
00:24 And that was like the album that I worked on for years,
00:27 and went to my label and was like,
00:30 can I work with these producers?
00:31 And I did the whole thing.
00:32 And then welcome mat was just truly my therapy.
00:35 And yeah, it's been a very--
00:38 in so many ways, personally and in this world,
00:42 it has been the most eye-opening experience for me.
00:45 It really has.
00:46 I know you touch so many people with it, including myself.
00:49 Another big thing for you, you're 30.
00:52 Congratulations.
00:52 Welcome to the 30 club.
00:56 Every woman that I trust does that.
00:58 Every woman that I trust is like, something happens in
01:00 your 30s where the rest of the part of you that happens in
01:04 your 20s where you're still kind of wondering, am I going
01:07 to get your approval?
01:07 It goes away.
01:08 And you're just like, I have my own approval,
01:10 and that's what matters.
01:11 And I feel like I've been inching towards that for a
01:13 couple years, but I really feel like I'm
01:15 really getting there.
01:16 I feel like in following your journey, you seem like you're
01:20 in such a great place.
01:20 Obviously, you and Chase are so freaking cute.
01:23 I can't get enough.
01:24 I'm like, where is my Chase?
01:27 Same.
01:27 I'm like, come back.
01:29 So cute.
01:30 How does he support you in this career?
01:33 Because it's not easy.
01:34 I mean, he has a crazy career as well.
01:37 So it's really amazing to have such parallel--
01:40 we call it a Venn diagram, because it's like there's an
01:43 overlap of similarities of his world and mine, but there's
01:46 enough differences where we keep each other on our toes,
01:49 and we're able to learn and kind of walk through it
01:51 together, and it's always new.
01:53 So it's just been really beautiful to be able to
01:57 support each other in the ways that we can and
01:59 show up when we can.
02:00 And my favorite thing about our relationship is
02:03 what no one sees.
02:05 Yeah.
02:05 He's an artist.
02:06 He's a singer, isn't he?
02:08 Doesn't he play?
02:09 Like, I remember him posting.
02:10 He can play, and he can sing, and he'll kill
02:12 me for saying that.
02:13 But every time he starts singing in the house, I'm
02:16 like, that tone, baby.
02:19 That tone.
02:20 Yeah.
02:21 Lastly, you did "SNL" with Travis Kelsey.
02:24 It's re-airing on Saturday.
02:26 I just heard that.
02:27 Thank you, Taylor Swift.
02:29 Do you ship this?
02:31 Like, what do you think?
02:32 Travis and Taylor.
02:32 I ship happiness.
02:34 Whoever is happy with whoever is what I ship.
02:37 I adore Taylor.
02:38 I adore Travis.
02:39 If they're happy, I ship it.
02:41 It's nice that Taylor put him on the map.
02:43 You know, now people know who he is.
02:44 I'm like, what?
02:46 Slay queen.
02:48 Thank you so much.
02:48 You're amazing.
02:49 I love you.
