The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, also known as the Gulf Cooperation Council, comprising Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates is a regional, intergovernmental, political, and economic union. Consideration is being given to issuing a common Schengen-style tourist and visit visa in the GCC countries. According to the lesson website, this visa will be for Iqama holders from GCC countries. Foreigners residing in GCC countries can travel to 6 countries by obtaining a joint visa. Which includes KSA, UAE,,Qatar, Kuwait, Behrain and Amman. If the proposal under consideration is implemented, Iqama holders will not face any difficulty in traveling to Gulf countries. The common visa will be issued to facilitate the large number of foreigners residing in the Gulf countries. The trend of tourism in Gulf countries is increasing while the governments of GCC countries are also working to promote it. It should be noted that Saudi Arabia has previously introduced the facility to issue online visit visas to Iqama holders from GCC countries.
