00:00 of the most prominent and notable national recruiting experts out there, you know, not
00:04 localized guys who cover one team and, you know, would theoretically have a bias towards anybody.
00:10 National experts from two of the biggest publications have dropped crystal balls or
00:15 predictions for the Miami Hurricanes to land NICAR. Our guy Steve Wiltfong, the Grim Reaper,
00:22 dropped a Fong ball for CAR to the Hurricanes. Steve Wiltfong, the Director of Recruiting for
00:28 24/7 Sports, and I was watching Steve's comments about Miami. He says the Hurricanes have been
00:33 rising here and they're the program that he's hearing the most about when it comes to CAR.
00:38 And he logged that crystal ball with a 6 of 10 certainty, which is a pretty standard,
00:43 you know, that a little bit above medium certainty. And then the other one who logged a
00:48 prediction, I think they just call it a prediction on on3.com, but it's their equivalent of the
00:53 crystal ball. And Chad Simmons from on3 is the Steve Wiltfong equivalent of on3. He's their head
01:01 of scouting and recruiting. And Simmons has logged a prediction for Miami to land CAR. He says the
01:08 communication picked up a lot between CAR and the Hurricanes recently, and now the four-star is set
01:14 to visit Coral Gables this weekend, he said. This will be CAR's first true visit to Miami. He saw
01:20 the campus once before with his 7-on-7 team, so this weekend is a big one for both parties,
01:25 he said. There is no timeline for CAR to make his next decision, but Miami has put itself in the
01:30 best position for the Peach State playmaker. Based on intel from a couple of sources close to his
01:35 recruitment, I have logged a pick for Miami on the on3 recruiting prediction machine, Simmons said.
01:41 CAR visited Auburn last week for the Georgia game. He has tripped to Florida State before,
01:48 and his teammate Landon Thomas is committed to the Seminoles, but Miami has quickly emerged
01:53 as the team to beat here. Now, here on Locked on Canes, we love NyCAR, not only because of his
02:01 hands and his shiftiness, but this dude has some serious acceleration, all right? If you haven't
02:08 had a chance to watch his sizzle reel from Colquitt County High School, there's a clip that's been
02:13 going around social media. I shared it on Twitter or X. You can follow us, by the way, follow the
02:19 show at Locked on Canes, and we will follow you back. I shared this video at the Locked on Canes
02:25 account. There's this incredible video going around of a play that CAR made for his high
02:30 school team, catching a bubble screen, scoring a long touchdown, and they did the sports science
02:36 on this one. He accelerates to 20.7 miles per hour in just 3.1 seconds. I'm not sure if my CAR can
02:47 do that, but NyCAR can do that. It was incredible. He's 5'11", about 170 pounds. The position that he
02:58 prominently projects at at the college level is slop receiver, but CAR will be the first one to
03:03 tell you because he's been talking about this over the last couple of days. Don't just call him a
03:08 slop receiver because he can play on the outside as well. He's a versatile playmaker. If you're an
03:14 old school Miami Hurricanes football fan, if you watch CAR, you think of the possibilities. A comp
03:21 to Santana Moss would come to mind with him. If you're more of a new school college football fan,
03:26 you would think about a guy like Tank Dell, who's now with the Houston Texans. Before that,
03:30 he was with the Houston Cougars, and Shannon Dawson was his offensive coordinator. CAR can
03:36 be that type of player in this offense.
