00:00 Good morning to all of us. This is our last update on the situation we are monitoring in Baguio, Guinea.
00:08 Baguio, Guinea is outside of our Philippine Area of Responsibility.
00:13 It left the park yesterday afternoon, but there are areas that are under the Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal
00:21 because the area in Northern Luzon is still affected.
00:24 Now, there are no Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals in our country because the area in Baguio, Guinea has just left.
00:32 And just a few hours ago, the last time the area in Baguio was seen was 385 kilometers west-northwest of Itbayat, Batanes.
00:43 The storm in Guinea has weakened. The wind strength in the area is now 120 kilometers per hour, while the wind speed is 150 kilometers per hour.
00:59 We expect this to move further in our country at a speed of 10 kilometers per hour.
01:05 Meanwhile, we are monitoring a low-pressure area that may be affected by the storm.
01:13 It is outside of our Philippine Area of Responsibility, which is 1,950 kilometers west-northwest of Luzon.
01:22 It is quickly becoming more severe and it may enter our park this upcoming weekend.
01:31 Meanwhile, the storm in Guinea is still continuing to pull down the sea level, which is affecting a large part of Luzon and Metro Manila.
01:43 That is why today, we still expect heavy rains and thunderstorms in Northern and Central Luzon, as well as Metro Manila, Mimaropa, and Calabarzon.
01:54 In our forecast track of the storm in Guinea, you can see that it will continue to pull away from our country.
02:02 When Tuesday, October 10, next week, the storm in Guinea will continue to be a low-pressure area.
02:11 The southwest monsoon will continue to affect today and tomorrow, and maybe on Sunday, the southwest monsoon will continue to pull away.
02:23 By Sunday, the country will experience improving weather, aside from isolated rains.
