00:00 You do it every single time.
00:01 No, no, no, no.
00:02 That's very, very kind.
00:03 Well, if that's the case, it's because I'm
00:05 on an awesome team.
00:07 Will they?
00:07 And I'm very happy to rep my team.
00:09 Yes, indeed.
00:10 You were doing it at the Albi Awards, too.
00:11 And I was hoping I'd get to chat with you
00:13 about that little Versace number.
00:14 And I was hoping to witness your reunion with Meryl Streep.
00:17 Oh, wasn't that wonderful?
00:18 And wasn't it so awesome that Versace was one
00:20 of the sponsors of the evening?
00:21 I was already so proud to work with the company.
00:24 And that, accomplished with the speech
00:25 that Donatella gave last week in Italy
00:28 about the importance of human rights and LGBTQIA rights,
00:33 yeah, I'm so honored to get to work with them.
00:35 Donatella is incredible.
00:36 Might we ever see you and Meryl team up again
00:38 on the big screen?
00:39 Oh my gosh, I would love that.
00:40 We would, too.
00:41 I wish, I wish, I wish.
00:43 Dreams do come true.
00:44 She's very busy.
00:46 As are you.
00:47 You are busy with this.
00:47 Not only do you star in this film, you also produce it.
00:50 So what was it about the theme of second chances
00:53 that really resonated with you, Anne?
00:54 What was it, the theme about second chances?
00:56 I mean, that certainly is one of the things
00:58 that Rebecca Miller, our amazing writer/director,
01:01 one of the things she keeps saying
01:02 is one of the things she hopes audiences take away
01:03 from this idea that it's never too late.
01:06 It's never too late to do something crazy.
01:07 It's never too late to find yourself.
01:09 It's never too late to get lost.
01:12 And it's never too late to be who you are.
01:14 And we see that with your character,
01:16 'cause she has a major career shakeup.
01:18 So if you weren't pursuing acting,
01:20 what might you pursue in real life
01:22 outside of your career in this film?
01:24 I thank my luckiest, I really give thanks every single day
01:28 that I don't have to answer that question for myself.
01:31 But hopefully it'd be doing something to help people.
01:34 Yeah.
01:35 And I feel like this movie will help people
01:36 with a sense of their relationships.
01:38 You think so?
01:39 I do, because everyone will see a little bit of something,
01:41 maybe in one of the couples that might resonate with them.
01:44 I hope so.
01:45 Yeah.
01:46 All movies that are enhancing are inherently good,
01:48 I believe that.
01:49 But one of the things that I know
01:50 is that we don't get so many movies these days
01:53 about people just trying to figure things out.
01:55 Normally we get movies about superheroes
01:58 and building and destroying and then rebuilding cities
02:01 and moving through time and doing it,
02:02 which is great and fun.
02:03 But not about sparks and love.
02:05 Well, it's a different kind of sparks.
02:06 But I'm not somebody who,
02:08 I embrace movies like that.
02:12 But I wanna make sure that movies like this
02:13 still have a place in our culture and in our lives,
02:16 and especially in our theaters.
02:18 And so I'm just really excited
02:20 to be a part of this one, in fact.
