00:00 But did you find something in the second half of Chicago that you can
00:04 apply and build on moving forward? Well, yeah.
00:08 I thought we found
00:12 we found out that doing it right makes a difference.
00:16 And all the guys worked hard all week to improve
00:20 fast and it showed in the second half. But we're not there yet.
00:24 At first half it's a little choppy as far as giving up plays. We gave up two
00:28 big plays that we shouldn't give up.
00:32 So we're getting closer. But the boys are working. They're fully
00:36 engaged every day. It's a race to improve. But the second half was
00:40 fun to watch. It was clean. Even entire game
00:44 if you watch the entire game it's about ten snaps that you don't like and the rest
00:48 is pretty good football. So it's a race to
00:52 be more consistent and just to play four quarters of really good football
00:56 and make people beat us and not give away plays. It's too much of giving away
01:00 explosives and touchdowns and that's got to stop. Like now.
01:04 Pat just said in the second half that the game plan was simplified
01:08 on defense. Is that something that can be sustained moving forward or can it not be as simple?
01:12 I think what Pat meant of how we played certain things, we just played it
01:16 one way. And it was easy for the guys to get body on body and play
01:20 more match and man than play zone. And it helped us.
01:24 I thought Nicko J. Mack played very well in the second half
01:28 because he can really cover. So we went to more five
01:32 man pressures and man coverage and it made it easy for our guys to match up the motions.
