01:54 As we all gather here today under the banner of Jamia Anwar-e-Madina Qasimiyah,
02:03 converging from diverse corners of the world,
02:09 converging in pursuit of spiritual enlightenment,
02:13 along with that Islamic knowledge that bind us to Allah Almighty.
02:20 We all came here from different corners of the world,
02:26 and we are blessed with the presence of esteemed scholars,
02:31 devoted students, and passionate seekers of knowledge,
02:36 all in a quest to deepen our connection with Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
02:43 It is our honor that the personality that is among us today,
02:51 my mentor, my chef, P. Sufi Shukrat Ali Qadri,
02:57 and his unwavering dedication to fostering a profound connection between people and divine.
03:07 Along with that, his tireless efforts to clearly send a message,
03:15 and truly send a message in a true form of Islam, inspires us all.
03:22 I welcome all of you in this congregation of Jamia Anwar-e-Madina Qasimiyah.
03:29 If there is something that you can take from my message today,
03:34 it is how you can connect yourself with Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
03:39 How you can connect your soul with Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
03:43 And this connection with Allah Almighty is extremely important that it should be live and functioning.
03:52 So the blessings that you will receive, the barakah that you will receive,
03:57 in form of peace and harmony, it will not only be limited in this world,
04:04 but in the world of hereafter as well.
04:07 How we can connect ourselves with Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
04:12 How we can rebuild that connection, or how we can strengthen that connection with Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
04:20 I would like to wrap up my speech in a very simplified three steps.
04:25 If we will implement those three steps in our life, we will be among those who are beloved to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
04:34 First of all, sending salvation or darood on Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
04:41 Second, being in a company of righteous people.
04:45 Those who are beloved to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
04:48 And third, seeking repentance from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
04:52 Seeking sincere repentance.
04:55 The translation of the verse that I just recited, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said in the Quran,
05:01 that say, "O Prophet, those who love Allah, then what they need to do, follow me,
05:09 and Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will love them and forgive their sins."
05:14 For a moment, if we just focus on the first part of the ayah,
05:18 Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said here, "Say, 'If you love Allah,
05:23 then those who love Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, what they need to do, they need to follow me."
05:31 They need to follow Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
05:35 And as a believer, we all follow Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
05:40 We all love Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
05:44 We all love Allah Almighty.
05:46 But the question here is, why can't we do an act which Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is also doing?
05:53 He ordered his angels to do that act as well.
05:57 And along with him, we can do that act too.
06:01 And what's that? That is sending salvation on Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
06:07 Regarding that, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said in the Quran,
06:11 "Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who have believed, send blessings upon him and greet him with peace."
06:20 That I send blessings on Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam and my angels pray for him.
06:27 O believers, invoke blessings on him and salute him with the worthy peace and with the worthy blessings.
06:36 Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, he clearly told us what we need to do.
06:42 We need to send blessings on Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
06:46 And as a believer, when we do an act, we don't hold an assurance or a confirmation that this act is accepted by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
06:56 If someone just offered a prayer, he doesn't hold a confirmation that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala accepted his prayer.
07:04 But Imam Shafi'i said, when a believer who believes in Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, who believes that there is no God but Allah,
07:12 and Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam is the last messenger of Allah.
07:18 When a believer sends blessings on Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam,
07:22 Imam Shafi'i said that when a believer sends a blessing, he holds a confirmation that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala accepts that act.
07:31 Once you send a blessing, you are going somewhere, you are going to work, you are at home, or you took a break during your work,
07:41 or you just finished your prayer, it will hardly take you two minutes to send a blessing on Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
07:49 And if you just send ten times in a day and ten times in a night, the blessings that you will receive,
07:57 you will be among those people that Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam will do shifat of you on the day of judgement.
08:05 On the day of judgement, you will be among those who are blessed with the shifat of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
08:13 That's the one thing that we need to make a habit of. That's the one thing that we need to do in our life,
08:21 and make it part of our life, make it part of our day to day routine. And this shifts my speech to the second point,
08:28 and again connects me to the first ayah. We need to love Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
08:36 We need to love Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. We need to follow him.
08:42 We need to follow him. And when we follow someone, we love that person, we love that sheikh, we love that scholar.
08:49 And when we follow someone, and how we should follow, Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said that
08:55 "Man ahabba shay'an aksara zikrahu" When someone loves someone, when you love someone, you multiplicity remember him.
09:04 Are we among those who multiplicity remember Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala?
09:10 Are we among those who multiplicity remember Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam?
09:16 Or do we sit among those who are beloved to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala?
09:21 We need, what we need to understand? We need to understand that those acts which are accepted in Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala,
09:30 those are good deeds. And what are those acts we need to seek repentance on?
09:35 In a simplified way, how we can understand that this gathering is good for your kid, this gathering is good for you,
09:44 or that social circle of your friend, or business community is good for you.
09:49 How we can understand? It's a very simplified way.
09:52 If that gathering, if that social circle, if those of your friends, if they are helping you to keep yourself away from bad deeds,
10:01 if those circle are helping you to keep yourself away from bad acts, that gathering is good for you.
10:08 And you will be eventually among those who are beloved to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
10:13 But if our friends, if our social circle, if the community we live in, if the people we spend our time with,
10:22 if they are not helping us to stay away from sins, if they are not helping us to strengthen our Iman,
10:30 then we all know where we are. We all know where we are.
10:35 And what Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said in the Quran, Prophet Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said,
10:41 "Be in a companionship of those who remember their Lord day and night, and adherently seeking His pleasure,
10:50 seeking a glimpse of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala."
10:53 In what companionship we should be? We need to teach our kids in a very simplified way,
10:59 that these friends of yours are good, and these gatherings are good for your Iman,
11:04 and those are the gatherings which push you towards the bad deeds.
11:08 Those gatherings are not good for your Iman. We need to save Iman of our kids.
11:14 And as a society, it's a term that when we do something, when we want our kids to be successful,
11:26 and what we do, it's a very simplified thing.
11:30 We tell our kids, or our children in our life, that these two or three friends of mine are those,
11:37 whenever you will go to them, you will get advice which will help you in life.
11:43 They will never have an agenda, hidden agenda behind it.
11:46 I have a question from all of us. Do we take our kids to those scholars?
11:52 Do we take our kids to those sheikhs? Do we take our kids to those peers who help us to strengthen our Iman?
12:01 Do we take them to those scholars who help us to understand Islam?
12:07 All of us want to see our kids successful. All of us.
12:13 And we work really hard for that, and there is nothing wrong in it.
12:16 And we try to connect them with the best business tycoons in our community,
12:23 with the best business tycoon in our business circle.
12:26 Sometimes we request them, can my kid do an internship in your company,
12:32 so he can learn how to work or how to be a good businessman.
12:37 But do we really teach our kids that when they need to strengthen their Iman,
12:42 when they feel that they are going towards bad deeds, they are not in a good community,
12:50 they are among a social circle which push them to do bad deeds,
12:54 from which scholar they need to seek guidance from?
12:58 From which sheikh they need to seek spiritual guidance from?
13:03 Or which sheikh will help him whenever he feels weak in life,
13:08 which sheikh will help him to connect to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala?
13:13 And most of us don't. Most of us don't connect our kids to scholars.
13:18 Most of us don't connect our kids to sheikhs and those people who help us to strengthen our Iman.
13:24 Those people who actually told us what Islam is.
13:29 We don't connect our kids with them.
13:32 And it's extremely important, specifically for the youth.
13:36 Whenever I have a discussion with them, they don't even know how to select a righteous community,
13:42 how to be in a good community, or how to be among those who will help him to attain Iman.
13:49 How to be among those who will help him by being in a people who are blessed with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
13:57 who are beloved to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
14:00 Right now, we are in a gathering in this annual congregation of Jamia Nawari Madina Qasmiyya.
14:07 A question may arise.
14:09 We are here and we are among those who are righteous people.
14:14 We are among those who are beloved to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
14:18 And it's a gathering of millions.
14:21 It's a gathering of thousands.
14:23 No one knows who is beloved to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
14:26 Allah knows the best.
14:28 And we are here.
14:30 We did bad deeds.
14:32 What we need to do?
14:34 We saw haram with these eyes.
14:36 We talked haram with this tongue.
14:38 We listened haram with these ears.
14:40 What we need to do?
14:42 Or what's the way out of it?
14:44 This shift my speech to the third and the final point,
14:47 that what we need to do,
14:49 we need to seek sincere repentance from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
14:54 From nasuhah, we need to seek sincere repentance on it.
14:58 On all those bad deeds which we did.
15:01 As a society, whenever our kid do something wrong,
15:06 and we get a complaint from our neighborhood,
15:09 or we get a complaint from his teacher,
15:11 before we say something,
15:13 before we announce the punishment,
15:16 we make sure that we make him admit that you did this bad deed.
15:22 You did this bad act in a same way.
15:25 When teacher get a complaint that this student is misbehaving in class,
15:30 what principal will do?
15:32 First he will make sure that that student admits his mistake,
15:37 before he announce punishment or forgiveness.
15:40 Now when we are in this gathering,
15:43 now when we are among the beloved of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
15:47 what we need to do?
15:49 We need to seek repentance from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
15:52 We need to say, "Oh Allah, I am here, I am your servant, I did bad deeds."
15:58 Some of them are hidden, and some of them are apparent to everyone.
16:02 "Oh Allah, but I am in your presence."
16:06 Like a submissive slave, like a submissive believer,
16:10 in the presence of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
16:12 raising your hands and saying again and again, repeating it,
16:16 "Oh Allah, forgive my sins. Oh Allah, forgive my sins. Oh Allah, forgive my sins."
16:22 And when a believer goes in the presence of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
16:27 he will always bless him with the forgiveness.
16:31 He will always bless him whatever he is seeking from him,
16:35 whatever is in his heart.
16:39 And a person will be bring in the court of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala on the day of judgment.
16:45 What will happen if you cry today in the presence of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala?
16:50 If someone ever felt ashamed of his sins,
16:53 as a believer, the first step of seeking forgiveness is feeling ashamed on your previous sins.
17:01 Once you admit that you did a bad deed,
17:04 once you admit, you will feel ashamed.
17:07 That's the first step of seeking forgiveness from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
17:11 On the day of judgment, a believer of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will be presented in the court of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
17:19 Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will show him a list of his bad deeds.
17:24 And that believer will say, "Oh Allah, I never committed these sins.
17:28 I never did these bad deeds. I never committed these sins."
17:33 What will happen? Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will say, "I do have witnesses over this."
17:38 The person will look to his right, to his left and request Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
17:44 "Oh Allah, where are those witnesses? I don't see anyone.
17:48 Where are those witnesses that you said, that you hold witnesses over this?
17:53 Where are those people?"
17:55 Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will order his limb that be a witness that did he did those bad deeds?
18:01 His limb will speak. His limb will say, "Oh Allah, I be a witness.
18:06 He used to do haram." His eyes will say, "Oh Allah, I be a witness.
18:12 He used to saw haram." His ears will say, "Oh Allah, I be a witness.
18:18 He used to listen haram with his ears." His tongue will say, his foot will say,
18:23 the same thing his foot will say. His hands will say, "Oh Allah, he used to do haram with his hands."
18:30 And this thing will go on. The witnesses will speak.
18:35 And there are different narrations that if a person commits a sin,
18:40 that part of land will also be a witness in front of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala on the day of judgment.
18:47 That part of land. And in one narration, angels are writing as well,
18:52 "Your body parts are bear witnessing as well.
18:55 Oh, the part of land also will be a witness that, "Oh Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
19:00 he used to commit these sins on myself." That land, the piece of land will be a witness.
19:06 Then all those witnesses will be there. An ear and hair from his right eyelash.
19:14 A hair, a single hair from his right eyelash will say, "Oh Allah, can I say something?"
19:21 He will seek permission from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
19:24 When Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will allow him, what will happen?
19:28 That hair will say, "Oh Allah, I listened that you forgive your dead servant
19:34 who ever cried in front of you due to fear."
19:37 If someone ever cried in the presence of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
19:42 if someone ever felt ashamed and tears fell from his eye
19:47 and he cried in the presence of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
19:50 that one hair will say, "Oh Allah, I become wet.
19:55 I remember once he cried in your presence. Once he cried in a way, I become wet
20:01 and I bear witness that he, that sinner, servant of yours, used to cry in your presence.
20:08 Oh Allah, he used to fear from you. Oh Allah, due to your fear, he used to cry in your presence."
20:14 Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will say, "Yes, I said those things
20:18 and due to this that he cried in my presence.
20:21 Due to this, he holds a fear in his heart of me.
20:25 Due to this, he repented on his previous sins.
20:28 Even if he did once in his life, I forgive him and order him to enter paradise."
20:35 That person will be allowed to enter paradise.
20:38 And that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, that Allah almighty, what will happen?
20:43 That Allah almighty, when he forgives someone, when he forgives someone, what happens?
20:49 Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala erases those registers where all those bad deeds are mentioned.
20:55 All those registers will be erased.
20:58 That part of land which used to be a bear witness, a witness against him in the court of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
21:07 that part of land will be, from his memory it will be erased that this person ever committed sin on it.
21:15 His body parts will forget that he committed these sins and he will be presented in the court of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala in a way,
21:25 he will be presented in the court of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala in a way that there will be no witness against him from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala's side.
21:34 Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will purify him in this way.
21:38 What we need to do? We need to seek repentance.
21:42 And Mawlana Rumi wala rahmat said,
21:44 "Qatra-e-ashq-e-nidamat dar sujood, ham sari khoon-e-shahadat mi namood."
21:50 That the tears of a believer who cried ever in the presence of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
21:55 Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala weighed them equal to the blood shed from the martyrs.
22:02 On the one side there are tears of those who cried in the presence of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
22:07 on the other side it's a blood tears of those who got martyred in the way of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
22:12 Mawlana Rumi said, "Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala weighed them equally."
22:18 I would like to conclude my speech in the three points that I highlighted today.
22:24 First of all, sending salvation and blessings on Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa alihi wa sallam.
22:30 Second, being among those who are beloved to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
22:35 Who are beloved to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and help your kids to decide which community is good for them.
22:42 Guide them, tell them how you selected the best friends, how you got this community you live in,
22:49 how you got those friends, you told them that these are the people who will guide you no matter what you go for.
22:57 How you got this?
22:59 And third, if you implement that in your life, no matter what part of life you are, no matter what your routine is,
23:06 the connection which you felt disconnected, the connection which you felt is weak,
23:11 you will feel like that connection become strong to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala as we are here today.
23:19 The mission of my sheikh, my mentor, priest Sofi Shukat Ali Qadri, in form of madrasas,
23:24 teaching kids to a sense of Islam in form of these spiritual gatherings,
23:30 in form of jaluz or in form of a congregation, all done by a woman.
23:38 The only purpose here is to connect people to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
23:43 There is no hidden agenda here.
23:46 The only purpose here is the 29th congregation held by Jamia Anwar-e-Madina Qasmiya
23:52 and in previous 28 years, there is only one purpose, to connect people to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
24:01 To connect people to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala in any way possible.
24:06 All those Muslims, those who are listening me through ARY TV channel,
24:11 those who are listening me through internet media, all those people who are listening me,
24:17 what we need to do if we connect our people, if we connect our kids, if we connect our friend,
24:23 if we connect our child with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, brothers and sisters,
24:28 we don't need to tell him anything else.
24:31 Once the connection is strong, he knows that what will make Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala angry,
24:37 what are the deeds which are beloved to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
24:41 what are those deeds which are beloved to Prophet Muhammad salallahu alayhi wa alihi wa sallam.
24:45 What are those deeds that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala love the most?
24:49 Oh how we could be among those who are beloved to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
24:54 Thank you all of you for being part of this beautiful gathering.
24:58 May Allah bless you and may Allah accept our repentance.
25:03 When we seek repentance from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, by the end of this congregation,
25:10 may Allah forgive our sins.
25:15 Al-Fatiha.
