00:00 My father-in-law and mother-in-law, who are from Scotland, live in Dundee,
00:05 travelled to Gaza about a week ago, where my father-in-law's mother,
00:08 a 92-year-old frail elderly, he went to visit her probably for the last time.
00:13 And they're trapped in Gaza.
00:15 And they're being told by the Israelis to leave Gaza.
00:17 They're being told that Gaza will be effectively turned into rubble.
00:22 But they have nowhere to go.
00:23 They can't leave.
00:24 Gaza is under blockade.
00:26 And even with the assistance of the Foreign Office,
00:29 they cannot guarantee any safe passage to any of the borders.
00:32 And therefore, you can imagine my wife and I are sick with worry
00:35 about whether or not, frankly, our parents, my in-laws, will survive or not.
00:39 We're getting messages through.
00:41 But of course, as you probably heard, the Israeli defence minister
00:43 said that they'll cut off electricity, food and supplies.
00:46 And the last message I got from my mother-in-law
00:48 was that they only have supplies for two days.
00:52 They have four grandchildren, one who's only two months old.
00:56 They're worried about baby milk, baby formula for that young child.
01:00 So they only have about two days' worth of supplies.
01:02 And I'm afraid this war will last longer than two days, I suspect.
