00:09 their school with a goal in empowering the youth for sustainability and climate

00:21 Holdings together with the World Wildlife Fund team up to build a future
00:25 of sustainability champions through the launch of their Youth are the Future
00:29 project with the mission of working together towards empowering the youth
00:33 for sustainability and climate action the two organizations spearhead a new
00:37 youth engagement program that equips student leaders with environmental
00:41 conservation awareness disaster resiliency and climate sustainability.
00:45 So we all know the DNR's work encompasses 30 million hectares of land
00:51 2.2 million square kilometers of waters 36,000 kilometers of coastline we
00:58 need to build a generation that knows how to take care of this natural assets
01:04 that we have and this effort between WWF Philippines and SM is just one of those
01:10 efforts that actually will help build a new generation of Filipinos who will
01:15 take care of our country so we're very glad to be able to work with them
01:20 especially on the education regarding sustainability and ecosystem protection.
01:25 The commencement of the program was attended by Mr. Han C Jr. president of
01:30 the SM Engineering Design and Development Corporation, Ms. Catherine
01:34 Custodio executive director of the WWF Philippines and Honorable Maria Antonia
01:39 Yula Loizaga secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. SM
01:45 Prime Holdings is one of the largest integrated property developers in
01:49 Southeast Asia that offers innovative and sustainable lifestyle cities with the
01:53 development of malls, residences, offices, hotels and convention centers. It is also
01:58 the largest in terms of assets in the Philippines. On the other hand the

02:07 works in nearly a hundred countries. They continue to address the greatest
02:11 threats to life and biodiversity in the planet. As human activities put more
02:15 pressure on nature than ever before they maintain that it's also human to have
02:20 the capacity to change this trajectory. Their work is centered on six project
