00:00 Lady Louise Windsor has made a rare public appearance today with her parents at the Commonwealth Games.
00:05 The 18-year-old took in both badminton and boxing at the event in Birmingham alongside Prince Edward, Sophie Wessex and her younger brother James.
00:21 Louise, who has been dubbed the Queen's favourite grandchild, played a part in her grandmother's Platinum Jubilee celebrations but has largely grown up away from the spotlight.
00:30 That's because she has been continuing to study for her A-Levels at a private school in Ascot.
00:44 But in just a few weeks' time, she'll be receiving the results of her A-Levels and could have to make an important decision whether to go to university.
00:52 Several of her cousins continued their education at university including Prince William, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
01:06 Louise's proud mum Sophie has previously talked about her daughter's schooling saying that she hopes she will go to university, but isn't putting any pressure on her to go.
01:16 She said, "I wouldn't force her, but if she wants to."
01:26 She's quite clever, last year, Sophie also gave an interview to the BBC, where she talked about how she and her husband are protective of Louise and that they realise she has to be allowed to "live her life"
01:37 She revealed that her daughter is not on social media and has the usual worries a parent has for their children
01:51 Sophie told BBC Radio 5 Live, "I would hope that she can go on with her studies, which I think she probably will want to do, and I hope that she and her friends will protect her from anything that somebody might want to do
02:03 But I have to let her live her life
02:09 It's not mine to live. I can only equip her the best that I can, and then she has to make her own choices
02:19 But I hope for the next few years, at least, she will still be able to be as private as she wants to be
02:26 Meanwhile, there have been several reports over the years that Louise is the Queen's "favourite grandchild" due to their special bond
02:41 A royal source previously told The Sun, "The Queen loves the fact that Louise and James, her younger brother, relish their time at Balmoral, and she has become particularly close to Louise, who seems to have become her favourite grandchild," closely followed by James
