00:00 >> You played Jared Goff several times before back when he was a Ram.
00:05 How has he grown as a quarterback?
00:07 What do you see from his play this year that gives you guys some concern?
00:13 >> I mean, he's the engine that makes it go over there.
00:15 He's playing great ball.
00:16 As you get experience in the league, obviously, not turning the ball over,
00:21 throwing touchdowns, commanding the offense.
00:22 He was always very accurate.
00:24 He's a competitor.
00:25 He's playing great ball.
00:26 >> Kinda seem like most everybody on defense that had been a question mark.
00:30 Coming back from injury, was able to go in some capacity today.
00:33 Pleased with the overall progress that way?
00:35 >> For the most part, we just gotta continue it during the week and
00:38 see how it ends up at the end.
00:39 But a lot of guys came back.
00:40 >> Tyler, Zion McCollum made it a little bit difficult for you.
00:45 If Jamel and Carlton are healthy and able to go about maybe taking him off the field,
00:49 just with how well he's played through these three starts he's had.
00:53 >> He's played well.
00:54 I mean, Carlton and Dan are still ahead of him.
00:55 Obviously, he has a bright future, and we gotta find ways to get him on the field.
00:59 But not enough to replace the other two.
01:02 That's what you're asking for.
01:04 >> Tyler, you've crossed paths with Dan Campbell.
01:05 I think you know him pretty well.
01:07 What stands out to you about him as a head coach?
01:09 >> Great leader, extremely smart, very tough guy.
01:15 Demands the best from his guys.
01:16 Heck of a human being.
01:19 Real good friend.
01:20 Hell of a coach.
01:23 >> Baker leads the NFL in the second half,
01:27 quarterback, or pass completion percentage.
01:30 What is it about him that he kind of maybe the light turns on or
01:33 he locks in in that second half when the game's kind of really on the line?
01:36 >> I tell you, make adjustments.
01:38 I mean, he's played in big games in college.
01:40 He's played in big games in the NFL.
01:42 So that's not new to him.
01:43 Him and Dave being on the same page, making adjustments as the game goes,
01:47 probably helps him out a lot more.
01:48 And we got playmakers from the pro team, which makes it a little easier.
01:52 >> Todd, what type of challenge does Sam LaPorta present this week?
01:55 >> He's tough.
01:57 I mean, he's tough.
01:58 He'll play like a rookie, plays like a six year pro.
02:01 He can block very well.
02:02 He runs routes wide out.
02:04 He has great hands.
02:05 He's got good run after catch.
02:07 By no means is he playing like a rookie.
02:09 He's playing good football.
02:10 >> We only saw Collagia for a few plays in the opener.
02:13 But if he can go, how does he change your defense?
02:16 What does he add to you inside there with Vita, the way Vita's playing right now?
02:20 >> Well, he gives us another option as a pass rusher inside.
02:23 We didn't have viable options before we had.
02:25 I think Logan's getting a lot better, and we really like what he's doing.
02:29 With his quickness and his savvy as a pass rusher, hopefully that helps us.
