00:01:45 Who found herself in some form of pain
00:01:49 But tonight the emphasis is not about pain
00:01:52 It's about praise
00:01:54 The emphasis, the emphasis

00:01:57 The emphasis is not about problem
00:02:00 But purpose
00:02:02 As I was praying about what the Lord
00:02:04 Will have me to preach or to declare
00:02:06 Over you on tonight
00:02:08 The Lord wanted me to remind you
00:02:10 That this conference is not about your past
00:02:15 Come on look at you
00:02:16 They may say "It's not about your past"
00:02:18 In fact you got 10 seconds
00:02:20 To look back and wave your past
00:02:22 This is the last night
00:02:24 You're going to wave your past
00:02:26 I don't care what you've gone through in the past
00:02:29 I don't know what you faced in your past
00:02:31 You got 9 seconds

00:03:10 I'm forgetting those things which are behind

00:03:21 So this conference is not about your past
00:03:25 As it is about your now and your next

00:03:36 That normally has had a pitiful past
00:03:40 Most of our times as preachers or when we've been to conferences
00:03:45 We've zoomed in or we tapped into the woman in the text
00:03:49 Who have some kind of terrible past
00:03:52 We can focus on the woman with the issue of blood
00:03:56 Who had a jacked up past
00:03:58 We can focus with the woman at the well
00:04:01 But this conference is not about your pain
00:04:05 And it's not about your past
00:04:07 My assignment is to pull you into your purpose
00:04:11 Come on, push on your neighbor
00:04:13 Say "My goodness, your future is brighter than your past"
00:04:18 And so if you gonna shout tonight, shout over your future
00:04:22 If you gonna scream tonight, scream over your future
00:04:26 If you gonna holler tonight, holler over your future
00:04:29 Push on your neighbor, say "My future is calling me"
00:04:33 Come on, say "My future is calling me"
00:04:36 That's why I came to this conference

00:11:38 So with that in mind, I searched through the 66 books
00:11:43 Trying to pull, to try to pull a woman up in here tonight
00:11:48 I searched through the 66 books
00:11:51 Trying to pull a woman who the emphasis of the text is not about her past
00:11:58 But rather about her future
00:12:01 I've searched all over
00:12:04 I mean I try to find somebody who is drawn, who is pushed
00:12:10 Or who is pulled into their future
00:12:13 And not running from their past
00:12:16 Oh my goodness, because listen real good my brothers and sisters
00:12:20 Little do we understand that nothing about our past
00:12:25 Or even about our pain
00:12:28 That really propels us into our future
00:12:31 Whenever we focus on our past and our pain
00:12:35 It's because we have a survival mentality
00:12:39 But when we tap into our purpose
00:12:42 We shift from survival to thriving
00:12:46 Oh I came to preach tonight
00:12:48 We moved from a place of just existing
00:12:52 And so I look for a woman throughout scripture
00:12:55 Who was pulled into her future
00:12:58 That if you were to google her
00:13:01 You would not find anything in regards to her past
00:13:05 This woman, if you were to google her
00:13:08 If you were to try to follow her
00:13:10 There is no mention about her past
00:13:13 All we can see is this woman is in the right place
00:13:17 At the right time, at the right season
00:13:20 In fact if you were to dissect her
00:13:22 When I introduced her to you
00:13:24 It is more about her place
00:13:26 It's more about her position
00:13:29 And it's more about her power
00:13:31 Y'all gonna get it
00:13:32 I said what is number one?
00:13:34 It's about her place
00:13:36 Number two, it's about her position
00:13:38 And number three, it's about her power
00:13:41 She is in a special category of women
00:13:45 Because throughout scripture
00:13:47 There is only seven women who are mentioned as prophets
00:13:51 And she is one of them
00:13:53 She's mentioned in the list of seven women who are prophets
00:13:57 And she is listed as one of the seven women
00:14:01 Who out of scripture, who has the title of not a prophetess
00:14:05 But rather a prophet
00:14:07 She is listed among the seven
00:14:10 She is also known as the fourth judge
00:14:14 In the line of the twelve judges
00:14:17 Because if you read the book that is called Judges
00:14:20 You know that there were twelve judges
00:14:23 But out of the twelve, there is one woman
00:14:26 I wish I had somebody in here
00:14:29 Look down your row and say I'm that woman
00:14:31 Come on, look down your row
00:14:33 Say I don't know who you are but I'm that woman tonight
00:14:36 I am going to be in a class all by myself
00:14:40 Oh I came to break the glass ceiling

00:14:52 He's about to give you an inheritance among the brothers

00:17:16 He can find none of the past
00:17:19 Because whenever we confess our sins
00:17:22 The Bible said he takes it
00:17:24 And he casts it in the sea of forgetfulness
00:17:27 Look at your neighbor and say the only reason
00:17:30 That enemy reminds you of your past
00:17:33 Is because he doesn't know your future
00:17:36 Because if he knew your future
00:17:38 He will leave your past alone
00:17:40 Slap right with somebody and say

00:20:00 And I'm not knocking her
00:20:01 She's a great role model
00:20:03 But I was born to be me

00:20:44 It was supposed to be a high moment
00:20:46 It was the greatest platform I ever preached on

00:20:52 I sold 150 copy books
00:20:55 150,000 books
00:20:57 I was on the stage of the stellar awards
00:21:00 I was preaching for Bishop Jakes
00:21:02 It's like getting to the place
00:21:04 You have arrived
00:21:05 And yet my goodness all through social media
00:21:08 They were convincing and trying to tell me
00:21:11 What I was not
00:21:13 I remember calling Bishop Jakes
00:21:15 I said do you see what they're saying
00:21:18 He said welcome to the game
00:21:20 I wish I had somebody in here
00:21:23 I said what should I do

00:21:28 I said but look what they're saying about me
00:21:31 He said let me tell you the most powerful lesson

00:21:34 Whenever the dog barks at the moon

00:22:48 Who's got a crazy daughter at home
00:22:50 You already tuned me out
00:22:52 Because you want to be that man
00:22:54 Who's cutting himself in the tomb
00:22:57 But can I tell you that the future you
00:22:59 Oh God, y'all ain't got it
00:23:01 I said the future you
00:23:03 Is not going to be dealing with those kinds of issues
00:23:07 Because the future you have already conquered it
00:23:10 I need three people to just put your foot in the future
00:23:14 I just need somebody else to touch your future
00:23:17 I need somebody to reach out
00:23:19 And say my future is calling me
00:23:22 And my future is greater
00:23:25 Than my past
00:23:28 Well, that's what I want to talk about
00:23:30 I want to unpack this lady

00:23:35 You see, contrary to what you think
00:23:38 To what many of us have believed
00:23:42 Listen, we are not driven by our past
00:23:46 As much as we are pulled in our future

00:23:59 But I know something is pulling me
00:24:02 I just don't understand why I just can't be comfortable

00:24:15 You used to have somebody always pushing you
00:24:18 But this season God said it ain't going to be a pushing

00:24:29 And did you look at you and say something is pulling me
00:24:33 And what is pulling you, let me see if I can explain it

00:24:44 And what's pulling me is the greater me
00:24:47 I need somebody to jump up and step in front of yourself

00:25:20 That does not believe in the Holy Ghost

00:25:27 That will not respect your anointing

00:26:40 You can be committed to that girl who was raped and molested
00:26:44 Who became a victim
00:26:46 Who felt like she had no power
00:26:48 You can be committed to your past version of you
00:26:52 You can be committed to the painful version of you
00:26:55 But I believe that you did not come here
00:26:58 Because you want to live in your past
00:27:01 I believe you did not come here
00:27:03 Because you want to live in your present
00:27:06 I believe you were drawn here
00:27:09 Because you felt something on the inside
