00:00 We understand and note the anger and frustration due to our error and regret we may have lost
00:11 our passengers' trust in us.
00:14 This happened due to a lack of contingency plan as we were let down by an 11-hour pullout
00:23 by an investor.
00:25 We also acknowledge our shortcomings with both MAFCOM and the Civil Aviation Authority
00:32 of Malaysia (CAAM) in our failure to initiate contact with the authorities and passengers
00:41 much earlier before we made our decision to temporarily suspend the operations.
00:51 The reason for the abrupt actions was due to the safety concerns we had for our passengers
00:59 and employees on the flight from Wednesday night to early hours on Thursday morning at
01:06 4.50.
01:07 At 4.50 Thursday morning, the last flight arrived safely at Terminal 2 KLIA and we issued the
01:15 suspension notice.
01:17 Although we have cancelled the flights in the morning wave, some passengers on later
01:23 flights were already at the airport and it was clearly an oversight on our part.
01:31 In the past few days, we had a series of meetings to identify and correct the errors and oversights
01:38 in all areas and this is a continuous process until we get back on track.
