00:00 Welcome to Mojo Plays and today we'll be showing you how to find and solve all 12 Enigmas in
00:06 Assassin's Creed Mirage.
00:12 Left Behind
00:13 "Basim, we should keep moving."
00:15 "I would like to look around first, if I may.
00:19 Bardad and its surroundings call to me."
00:22 This is likely to be the first Enigma you find in the game, and it's definitely one
00:27 of the trickier ones.
00:29 Largely because the solution is nowhere near the area you find the clue.
00:34 The Enigma is near the metal factory in the city, but the solution is way out on the western
00:40 bank of the wilderness area.
00:42 There is a clue in the name, however, Left Behind, since you'll be heading to the abandoned
00:47 village.
00:48 When you get there, look along the coast for the fishing net and you'll find your prize,
00:53 a new talisman.
00:55 There's also a Tale of Baghdad out here, so be sure to do that too.
01:05 Find What I Stole
01:06 This riddle can be a little frustrating.
01:09 This is also in Harbaia, directly east of the river that leads from the wilderness north
01:15 into the district.
01:16 Then you've got instructions to go to the soap district and look for colorful fabrics
01:21 from on high.
01:23 Looking in Kidoo for this is easy enough, but unfortunately, there are a lot of colorful
01:28 fabrics in Baghdad generally.
01:31 What you're looking for are some of the canopies that don't really stand out, but underneath
01:36 them is a wooden gazebo with the treasure inside.
01:40 You get the black Zanji Uprising die, which the riddle writer says he risked his life
01:46 for.
01:47 Why he did that is anyone's guess.
01:50 A holy horde.
01:56 The Final Enigma
01:57 The final enigma from Harbaia, this is another map, and it might be one of the simpler ones.
02:03 After finding the enigma in the southeastern corner of the region, you'll see a crude
02:07 drawing of a religious building.
02:10 The crosses on top tell you that it's not a mosque, but a Christian building, so it
02:15 has to be the Nestorian Monastery just north of Baghdad.
02:19 Go there and follow the map to the distinct tree it depicts, where the treasure will be
02:24 found by the trunk.
02:26 And again, there's a tale of Baghdad involving a monk who's no stranger to combat, so make
02:31 sure you don't miss that.
02:40 A Challenge
02:42 This clue is southeast of the House of Wisdom, and be sure to use Enkidu to pinpoint its
02:47 location exactly.
02:49 Then you've got a riddle that will test your knowledge.
02:52 The clue "the ram, the scales, the gourd, and the passage" refers to constellations,
02:57 which means you'll be going to the Observatory first.
03:01 Incidentally, the location of another tale of Baghdad.
03:05 Head on to the small islet covered in waterwheels where the river forks, near the boundary with
03:10 Harbaia.
03:11 Along the southwest side, you'll find a building with a waterwheel that is, unlike the others,
03:17 inaccessible, and inside you'll find a stack of papers and your treasure.
03:21 The Black Rostam die.
03:24 Delight by the Dome
03:32 Baghdad is full of distinct domes, a key feature of Islamic architecture, which might leave
03:39 you scratching your head and wondering which dome this map is pointing you towards.
03:44 The map is found in central Abbasiyah, close to the round city's walls, and the dome it
03:49 wants you to look for is the Dome of the Ass, "ass" as in donkey, in the southern part of
03:55 the district.
03:57 You'll get the mysterious talisman after diving into the small pond in front of the dome.
04:02 There's also a historical site, so you can learn about the building which was actually
04:06 built after Mirage takes place.
04:09 Ubisoft chose to be historically inaccurate on purpose so that the landmark could be recreated
04:15 and included.
04:22 The Gift
04:23 This enigma is easy to find if you've just done Delight by the Dome, because you'll find
04:29 it just a little northeast of the Dome of the Ass.
04:32 It's a long message written by a jilted lover that tells you to follow the river to the
04:36 south of Four Markets Gate to find the treasure he cast aside after being dumped.
04:43 After finding the river, you then follow it west in the direction of the setting sun,
04:48 but it's not clear how long you have to follow the river for from the clue.
04:52 You actually have to leave Baghdad and walk along the river into the wilderness, where
04:57 you'll eventually find the treasure sitting on a rock near a wooden bridge on the south
05:02 bank.
05:03 Solve this problem quickly for me.
05:08 There's only one enigma in Kark, and it's another riddle.
05:12 It's in the northern part of Kark close to the round city's walls, in the Officer's Club,
05:18 and once again, the solution is actually way out in the wilderness.
05:22 You're instructed by the riddle to go to the village northwest of Jajaraya.
05:28 So head to the Jajaraya viewpoint, which you'll find during the main story, and follow the
05:33 directions.
05:34 The treasure, golden hidden one die, is in one of the destroyed buildings in the northwest
05:39 of the burned down village, easily visible when you get close.
05:50 Just rewards.
05:52 On to the round city, and we've another map that can prove difficult to decipher.
05:57 The clue is in the southeast of the round city, on a balcony over one of the gates,
06:02 and the solution can be found by going straight north from here.
06:06 The drawing is, unfortunately, a little vague, but it's showing the Shurta headquarters,
06:12 where you'll go for a main story mission.
06:15 On the south of the building, you'll come to a courtyard that, when you compare them
06:19 side by side, does look distinctly like the drawing, albeit without those black flags.
06:26 The treasure is the black Abbasid knight die, a gift for you.
06:36 This enigma is found in a house in the southwestern part of the round city on the second floor.
06:42 You'll need to solve one of the typical barred window puzzles that are a staple in Mirage
06:46 and Valhalla before it, and then you'll get the riddle.
06:50 The clue tells you to go to where men speak the opposite of poetry, while your verses
06:56 set people free, their sentences in prison.
06:59 Which means you'll be heading to the Mausoleum Courts, which you'll also go to for the story.
07:05 The treasure, a talisman, is in a small, empty fountain outside of the court's western wall.
07:18 Joy Beneath Weeping Palms
07:20 One of the simplest maps in the game, this enigma is found in the wilderness right outside
07:26 the gate of the mills along Baghdad's southern wall.
07:29 It clearly shows the fields of palm trees around Palm Grove, and specifically, a smaller
07:35 patch of trees below the two huge ones in the wilderness south.
07:39 Head down there, and you'll soon spot the remains of a campsite with some blankets,
07:44 and you can collect your treasure, the green hidden one die.
07:48 Looking for historical sites along the way will fill out your codex with entries on Baghdad's
07:53 architecture too.
07:54 Surrender
08:01 The last riddle, this solution, is miles away from the clue.
08:06 The enigma is in Wilderness North, along Baghdad's northwest wall and near the Gate of Tahir.
08:13 But to solve it, you'll need to pay close attention to the words, as an exhausted soldier
08:18 talks about how he's abandoned all his worldly possessions north of the oasis in the village
08:24 of his birth.
08:25 This is not in the northern oasis, but the furthest northern point of the whole map,
08:32 the Flooded Village.
08:33 He talks about a dome in the riddle, so head to the sunken domed house, and on part of
08:39 the ruin, you'll find the rebel's talisman.
08:50 Creep from the ruins
08:57 In Jajaraya, you'll find a map to an ancient ruin bearing a very familiar face, Cthulhu.
09:04 If that intrigues you, look for the ruin in the most southeastern part of the map, the
09:09 remnants of the ancient Mesopotamian city, Seleucia.
09:13 In the ruin itself, you'll find a hidden, lost book, the Kitab al-Asif.
09:19 After blowing up some rubble, as well as a series of scholarly notes about Yogg-Sothoth.
09:25 Follow the map to the distinct Y-shaped tree, and you'll find the Eldritch Talisman.
09:30 This is all a fascinating reference to H.P.
09:33 Lovecraft, and the book is the original Necronomicon, written by Lovecraft's fictional explorer
09:39 Abdul Alhazred in Arabia in the 8th century, according to Lovecraft's own History of the
09:45 Necronomicon.
09:53 Let us know in the comments how many of these enigmas you managed to solve.
10:05 Thanks for watching!
