00:00 Good morning to all of us. Today is October 17, 2023 and here is the update on the weather forecast for the next 24 hours.

00:09 We can see here in our satellite animation the LPA outside our Area of Responsibility in the canluran of Luzon,

00:17 where this LPA, even if it's a trough, doesn't affect the rainfall in any part of our country.

00:25 At the moment, the northeasterly surface wind flow is coming from the northern part of Luzon,

00:34 where it will affect the cloudy sky and the rainfall in some parts of Cagayan Valley.

00:41 In the majority of our country, we will generally experience fair weather conditions.

00:47 Aside from the chance of isolated rainfalls, it will be affected by localized thunderstorms.

00:55 And for the time being, today is Tuesday, the sky will be cloudy and the rainfall will be experienced in the Batanes, Cagayan and Isabela areas.

01:06 Meanwhile, here in Metro Manila, even in the most remote parts of Luzon, it will be cloudy until the sky is cloudy.

01:18 We still have chances or possibilities of isolated rainfalls, lightning and thunderstorms.

01:26 Our regional offices are issuing thunderstorm advisories or warnings about these rainfalls.

01:34 The temperature here in Metro Manila is from 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.

01:40 Meanwhile, in the parts of Visayas and Mindanao, we will continue to experience cloudy weather until the sky is cloudy.

01:49 We still have chances of isolated rainfalls, lightning and thunderstorms, followed by localized thunderstorms.

01:57 And during severe thunderstorms, we still have chances of experiencing severe weather conditions,

02:04 including heavy rains that can cause flooding and landslides.

02:07 So, be careful for our fellow citizens.

02:10 The temperature in Cebu is from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.

02:14 And in Davao, it is 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.

02:19 And for the places of our country's seas and towns, we do not have high-level gale warnings.

02:25 So, our fellow citizens should avoid fishing and small sea vehicles.

02:31 But be careful for those who will go fishing, especially in the area of the extreme northern Luzon,

02:38 where the sea level will be moderate to high.

02:43 And for the three-day outlook of the key cities of our country,

02:48 in the next three days, from tomorrow, Wednesday, until Friday, the majority of our country,

02:55 including Metro Manila, Baguio City, Legazpi City, Metro Cebu, and Metro Davao,

03:01 will continue to experience cloudy weather until the sky is cloudy.

03:06 But we still have chances of isolated rainfalls, lightning and thunderstorms, followed by localized thunderstorms.

03:15 The temperature here in Metro Manila is from 25 to 33 degrees Celsius.

03:21 In Baguio City, it is 17 to 24.

03:24 Legazpi City is 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.

03:28 Metro Cebu is 25 to 33.

03:31 And in Metro Davao, it is 24 to 34 degrees Celsius.

03:37 Here in Metro Manila, the sun will rise later at 5.48 in the morning.

03:42 And it will set later at 5.35 in the afternoon.
