00:17 The family of a 25-year-old man, a criminology student,
00:24 was arrested for hazing in the initiation rites of a fraternity in Quezon City.
00:31 According to the initial investigation by the police,
00:36 the incident took place around 2 p.m. yesterday
00:40 in an abandoned house in Calamba Street, Santo Domingo, Quezon City.
00:44 The victim, Audrey Liri Brabante, a 25-year-old graduating criminology student,
00:52 was taken to the hospital by two suspects
00:56 when she lost consciousness after the initiation rites.
01:00 Around 6.40 p.m., the victim was declared dead on arrival at the Chinese General Hospital.
01:07 A few hours before the two suspects were arrested,
01:11 the two suspects also turned themselves in to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group of the Quezon City Police District.
01:18 The father of the victim also called for help.
01:21 I am just asking for justice.
01:27 I am asking for justice for all the damages my son will be facing.
01:30 They should be punished and they should be jailed.
01:34 The suspects will face a case of violation of the Anti-Hazing Law of 2018.
01:40 Audrey, the four suspects are currently in custody of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group of the Quezon City Police District.
