00:00 A musical treat for those on a Sunday morning walk.
00:11 Or browsing the markets.
00:12 Got up for coffee in the market and then we've been here for the last hour and a bit.
00:13 This is the 5th Braddon Busking Festival and it's just to bring some music and life and
00:27 joy to the streets of Braddon.
00:30 Generations of buskers were on show.
00:32 During the lockdown period we got Charlie a drum set and he took to it like a duck to
00:39 water and we just started playing a few songs.
00:42 Seriously this is the most awesome band in the world.
00:45 I don't know why I want anything better.
00:50 We live in a time now where most people that are walking down the streets if they're listening
00:54 to music it's through their earphones in their ears.
00:56 Why do you think people should take the earphones off and embrace things like busking?
01:00 Well the live music is a really magical thing and sometimes we forget about it.
01:05 Something different than your normal Spotify list.
01:08 This is about experiencing something different.
01:10 Tokens placed in a bucket decided which performers took out the top spots.
01:15 But the spectators were the real winners.
01:17 I would very much like this to be a feature of every Sunday.
01:21 The National Busking Championships will be held in Cooma next month.
