00:03 Investigations are continuing after the body of a woman was found at a property in Chesterfield.
00:09 Derbyshire Constabulary were called just after 10.30am on Saturday to the sudden death of a woman in Tapton Terrace in Chesterfield.
00:16 Police officers, along with colleagues from Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service and East Midlands Ambulance Service,
00:22 arrived at the property and found a woman in her 80s inside the flat.
00:26 Her death is believed to be related to the flooding in the area, Derbyshire Police have said.
00:31 Tapton Terrace was one of the worst affected areas by flooding around Chesterfield.
00:35 MP Toby Perkins described the news of the woman's death as 'heartbreaking'
00:39 and has called for a full investigation into the tragedy,
00:42 including whether any more can be done to prevent this area flooding in future.
00:46 Meanwhile, an army of volunteers has been out on the streets as the clean-up operation after the flooding across the area got under the way over the weekend.
