00:00 We're fine, gutted, but we're fine. Same as I said, we can replace everything at house, but you can't replace yourself, can you?
00:08 So, we are getting there, we're fine.
00:12 We got evacuated about ten past five this morning, but we could come out this way because this weren't flooded at the time.
00:20 So we came out this way and went up to Memorial Hall, where everybody were taken.
00:25 And we just left it, just locked up and just left it. Just took us belongings, what we wanted, and then just left it.
00:32 And what's the next step? What's happening now?
00:35 Cleaning up. I think that's the next step.
00:38 Then we've got to wait for council to come in, just to check, electric, gas, as well, because I think as well, what we're doing and things like that.
00:46 So we're just waiting for them coming now.
00:48 So, were you insured first?
00:51 No.
00:52 No?
00:53 No, because nobody would touch it, any.
00:56 Oh my gosh.
00:57 Because it's a flood area, it's very hard to get insurance.
01:04 Okay.
01:05 Yeah.
01:06 And what does that mean for you now?
01:08 Well, we've got to replace everything ourselves.
01:11 And how does that look like?
01:13 Well, looking up, we're fine, so we can replace it. But I think council will probably help us out as well, hopefully. So we just have to wait and see now.
01:26 Right, shall we take a look inside the house?
01:28 Yeah, come on then.
01:30 Right, do you want to come in? Just be careful though, as you're coming in.
01:40 Oh my gosh. So yeah, the water came up. How high did you say it was?
01:46 Well, it must have come at bed because bed's brown.
01:49 The bed's brown.
01:50 And that should be pink. Yeah.
01:52 Oh my gosh.
01:54 So it's just a case of getting rid of everything now.
01:56 Everything now, and then letting it dry out, and then replacing.
02:01 So you're staying at your daughter's at the moment?
02:03 At the moment, yes, we're jumping.
02:05 This is our bedroom.
02:09 We've took the bed out, rest of the things, that's going, all wardrobe's got to go there, it's all collapsed.
02:15 Well, you can see, look, down here, all my drawers and everything has collapsed.
02:20 We've got to get rid of the tellies because it's come up to, you know, about the empty tellies.
02:26 So tellies are allowed to go. Yeah.
02:29 Oh my God.
02:34 This is my living room. See, we all wouldn't want to, we've got to move things up so we can come back in.
02:42 And that.
02:44 So you can see, you can see all the water's come from the telly.
02:51 We're all very young.
02:58 The water's come from the sink. And that, yeah.
03:05 Come on.
03:07 We've come to have a look.
03:14 I'm going to call in a minute, but I've just got to get this thing out.
03:19 We'll get one in the morning.
03:22 Alright. Thank you.
03:25 Well, hamburger.
03:28 So you've been bringing everything outside then?
03:31 Yeah.
03:34 Look at this.
03:37 Do you think that the council have given you enough support here?
03:49 Well, we never saw the council, except for Sunday.
03:52 But today they've always been around and they're coming around now with vans and that to just get all this home.
03:59 So today's not been so bad, but last two days, we've not seen nobody.
04:05 What does it sort of feel like to be back here now and seeing it like this?
04:09 When I first come here we're horrible, because you're just walking into all that.
04:14 But now everything's starting to come out, you've just got to shelter.
04:18 We're going through. Yeah, we're fine.
