00:00 what is going on for the last time for being here today?
00:05 >> It means a lot, just to go out there, go back home,
00:08 see a lot of family and friends coming to the game obviously.
00:11 And then also, just being back home is always just a good feeling.
00:15 You know what I mean?
00:16 Utah also being my second scholarship offer coming out of high school.
00:20 So yeah, I mean, just a lot of love from going back home.
00:23 I'm very excited for this opportunity.
00:25 >> What is the series, as a guy from Utah,
00:27 what is the series meant to you Jeff, I mean, every time you guys have played,
00:30 it's been a meaningful game.
00:31 It's been ranked teams every time,
00:33 which before you showed up that was not necessarily the case.
00:37 What is the series meant to you as a guy from Utah,
00:39 as a player going for those couple of games?
00:41 >> It means a lot.
00:42 Utah's a hard-nosed team, you know what I mean?
00:44 A very physical team, and it's two physical teams going at it every year.
00:48 You know what I mean?
00:49 It's not ever gonna be a down year.
00:51 It's always a tough battle that a lot of people are always looking up to,
00:55 especially with me being from Utah, you know what I mean?
00:57 It's kind of like, what's the word I'm looking for?
01:01 It's kind of like, it's just very exciting, you know what I mean?
01:04 Being on the other side, you know what I mean?
01:06 But yeah, awesome.
01:08 >> To 21 in particular, it was kind of a homecoming for
01:11 you to go out there and play in front of family.
01:12 And obviously the game didn't probably sit great.
01:15 Is this kind of an opportunity to maybe atone for a little of that?
01:18 >> Yeah, yeah.
01:20 Last time, just like you said, last time I was there, it didn't go out like I wanted
01:24 it to, but I'm looking to change that this year.
01:27 >> Just thoughts on safety slash running back,
01:31 what makes him so good at that running back spot?
01:35 >> Very good player, very elusive player.
01:37 With him being able to play as many reps as he does, you know what I mean?
01:41 Also, with him being able to be an impact on the defensive side of the ball and
01:45 then also the offensive side of the ball.
01:47 Last week, having a tremendous game against SC.
01:50 >> That deal with some majors,
01:51 do you feel like you have a sense for what they're gonna try to do offensively,
01:54 given all the different personnel they've had to move in and out?
01:58 >> Yeah, I think so.
01:59 I think Coach Whittingham does a good job with finding the pieces in that program.
02:03 You know what I mean?
02:03 Just having those guys at the two spot and
02:08 at the three spot just ready to go whenever their time is ready.
