00:04 I like that segue there and I'm glad to talk some talk some hoops.
00:09 >> Yeah, let's chat it up a little bit.
00:12 The Pelicans of course, everybody knows the season started last night with Lakers
00:17 and Denver, but tonight the Pelicans and
00:20 Grizzlies tip off at FedEx Forum in Memphis.
00:24 And there's a lot to really digest and discuss when it comes to
00:30 the New Orleans Pelicans and we're gonna just start off on a general note.
00:35 How do you see these guys headed into the 23, 24 season?
00:41 >> I think they have a fresh start.
00:43 I mean, this is a team that was in a playing tournament last year.
00:47 A team that kind of had its ups and its downs.
00:51 People were looking at whether it was Zion's team, whether it was
00:55 Brandon Ingram's team, whose team is it?
00:57 And from my perspective, it's Brandon Ingram's team, but you still need a strong
01:01 showing from Zion Williamson to kind of complete the full circle moment there.
01:05 So I'm excited to see them healthy.
01:09 I'm excited to see the Pelicans live within their privilege on the basketball court.
01:14 I think for a while, you've had the ebbs and flows of the season and
01:19 they haven't necessarily always been as friendly or kind to them.
01:22 And this is to me a situation where I'm not comparing their,
01:28 when I compare these two teams, I'm not comparing them as far as contender wise.
01:35 But I feel like this is the year where you look at the Clippers and
01:38 you look at the Pelicans and if those two teams can stay healthy,
01:42 their fan bases respectively can have something to write home about.
01:46 I think for a long time, the Pelicans just have dealt with injuries and
01:50 things that haven't gone their way.
01:51 So healthy Zion and healthy Ingram and CJ McCollum continuing to lead the Ford
01:56 under head coach Willie Green, good results will come from that.
