00:00 Hello and welcome back. The international break is over and therefore we're glad to say we've got Louis back with us.
00:05 Hello.
00:05 And we've got Jamie. We've had a big weekend. Thank you. The Premier League is back and so much has happened.
00:10 Jurgen Klopp today was a little bit lucky against Everton and we had that amazing Chelsea 2, Arsenal 2.
00:16 Arsenal absolutely dominating a stand for a bridge and getting a point. Could that be the point that wins them the league?
00:21 That's where we're going to start today because as we know, Louis, the adamant Chelsea fan is here.
00:26 And let's get your views and reactions on that game.
00:28 I do hope you're joking with the dominating because I think we all have eyes and we all watch that game.
00:35 And probably the worst you've seen Arsenal play for a long time and Arsenal aren't just a bad team.
00:42 So there's a reason why they were playing bad and it's because we did play well.
00:46 Pochettino, he's got a settled team now, knows what he's doing. Midfield free, Gallagher workhorse, pressing everything.
00:56 Arsenal couldn't get out. They couldn't play any football. I haven't seen them play, be that bereft of ideas for a long time.
01:06 And I think we can all agree they got away with one in the end because it was the most comfortable win at 77 minutes
01:14 until Sanchez just decided to do what keepers all over the Premier League are still doing week in, week out now
01:21 and just passing it out to an opposition player.
01:24 We'll talk about later goalkeepers. We're going to talk about when we talk about Arsenal.
01:27 But do you agree with Louis' assessment? Did Chelsea dominate Arsenal?
01:31 And we'll get to my assessment later.
01:33 My domination is meaning we were comfortable and we didn't ever look like conceding until passing it.
01:39 I think tactically we got it.
01:42 Pochettino, you've got the number, please.
01:43 Yeah, I think it did a sound job. I mean, I think it would have been a deserved win for Chelsea.
01:48 Yeah, like you said, not so much total domination but it would have been, if they had won, I don't think you could have argued with the result.
01:57 But listen, Chelsea pick it up pretty well. I think in the last five games they've been beating across all competitions.
02:03 I mean, that fell a long way away at some point this season.
02:06 Like Louis says, there are players getting comfortable now.
02:09 Modric scoring for Coventry, he's getting a bit of confidence back.
02:13 They seem to be in the right direction, but I will throw this at you. Their next five fixtures, Brentford, they've got to win that.
02:21 Because then they face Spurs, City, Newcastle, Brighton and Manchester United.
02:26 So as much as we argue about whether Chelsea are back or not, we're really going to find out in the next few weeks.
02:31 Chelsea are not back, by the way. They've had nine games, three wins, three draws, three losses.
02:35 You just alluded to the five fixtures they have, right?
02:38 They're not going to get two wins, two losses, two draws, right? And where are they at the moment?
02:43 They're tenth. Where are they going to be in six games? Tenth.
02:46 Now, a little voiceover, a little finish, right?
02:48 Oh, we're back. We've got a settled team. Your top goal scorer is Raheem Sterling with three goals.
02:53 Your top goal scorer last season is Havertz in the Premier League with seven goals.
02:56 Have they got goal scorers? I don't think so. They scored two goals against Arsenal.
03:00 What two goals they were? A flying handball for a penalty that every team get every 10, 15 games.
03:05 And a lucky, lucky, lucky cross from Madrid. A skilled chip.
03:11 That was one of the lowest quality games I've seen in the Premier League for a long time.
03:15 In fairness, the weather was horrible. Both teams couldn't pass the ball five yards.
03:20 We were lucky enough to watch the game together and lucky, a little bit away from them, so I couldn't wind them up.
03:25 But it was an awful game. And listen, yeah, okay, Chelsea have picked up.
03:28 But before we say they've picked up, okay, three wins this season. I'm going to do it.
03:32 18th Burnley. I think VTF will beat Burnley, they're so bad. 17th Luton.
03:38 Luton aren't a real team, I'm not having it. And they beat Fulham with that 13th, okay.
03:42 Come back to me in six games time when they play Barb Brantford, five teams that are in the top half of the Premier League.
03:48 We just played Arsenal, yes, two days ago. Did you win? No, I'm just saying.
03:51 You got two lucky goals you couldn't hold out. It's what happens. It all comes. You can't just get away with it.
03:56 Gusto fell asleep. One clear cut chance and the whole game fell to Arsenal.
04:01 No, it's not. I can just tell you two other clear cut chances we had.
04:05 Jackson threw on goal. How's that not a clear cut chance? Palmer.
04:08 Gucky, isn't he?
04:09 Passed out to Ryan, tried to take it past him. Ryan did do well to rectify his mistake.
04:15 There's two clear cut chances there.
04:16 Home game, in the rain, Derby, well done, you're up for it. Let's see who you are.
04:19 You know, I'm not having this Chelsea about.
04:21 I can't just say we haven't played, you're not, oh, look at them, the X-Five games.
04:24 We just played Arsenal, you said you're going to win the Champions League and the league, and we played them off the park for the majority of it.
04:29 Let's make this interesting.
04:31 Let's make this interesting, OK? The next five games, OK, how many points will they get?
04:36 I'm going to do a little forward fit, shall we?
04:38 Losers get the coffees and the podcasts of the future.
04:41 I'm just saying, if we play them better.
04:43 OK, next five games, you'll get how many points?
04:45 I need to see exactly who we've got again.
04:47 Brentford.
04:48 Actually, this is six games, right?
04:51 Brentford, Spurs, City, Newcastle, Brighton, Manchester United.
04:56 It would be Brentford and it would be Brighton away?
04:59 No, Brighton home.
05:00 Brighton home is Brighton home.
05:03 Spurs, I reckon Spurs, they're going to run out of juice.
05:07 That's a white heart.
05:09 I reckon we're going to be in Spurs at three point lane again.
05:11 St Ants, City, you're...
05:13 City, you can probably use the City.
05:15 City's away, no.
05:16 Newcastle.
05:17 Newcastle is...
05:19 True away.
05:20 A difficult one. I think it'll be United, for sure.
05:23 So you're going for, in those six games, you're going for five wins in a draw.
05:26 I didn't go for five wins.
05:27 You did. You said you'd beat everyone apart from Man City in a draw.
05:30 No, no.
05:31 You said you'd beat Tottenham, beat Brentford, beat Newcastle.
05:33 I was ready to do that. So you get 14 points.
05:36 Easy three points, that's right.
05:39 How many points?
05:41 Three...
05:43 Being optimistic.
05:44 Six, seven...
05:46 Ten.
05:47 Sorry, sorry, everyone's just saying Tottenham.
05:50 They'll beat Tottenham, will they?
05:51 They'll just beat Tottenham away.
05:53 I'm beating the season.
05:55 Right. So 14, 10.
05:57 Brighton's a gimme, though.
05:59 They get...
06:00 Why is it they get two wins, two losses, two draws?
06:03 That gets me eight points.
06:05 But they're not going to get eight points.
06:07 It's quite an exercise, anyway.
06:08 No, it's not. I'll go six. Six points.
06:10 If you beat Brighton, though.
06:11 Yeah, then probably we'll be right, yeah. We can't defend.
06:13 We've lost since five.
06:14 Some are saying Brighton and the new Newton.
06:16 Yeah, exactly.
06:18 Who do you think will point you at the season?
06:20 We've got points.
06:21 We're being man-united away. That's the way, isn't it?
06:23 Don't worry about that.
06:25 We're seventh, you're tenth.
06:26 We've played the hard games. You've got them to come.
06:28 Our next five games are...
06:29 Every game for you is harder than the rest.
06:30 Every game is harder. That's not wrong.
06:32 So are Chelsea back, then? That's the real question.
06:34 Are Chelsea back?
06:35 On the way. They're picking up points now.
06:38 We can't argue against that.
06:39 They have picked up points.
06:41 But we'll see.
06:42 Those six games are kind of...
06:44 They'll make or break the season.
06:45 They'll define whether Chelsea are...
06:47 A more settled team, Rhys James will be back,
06:50 which is a big difference.
06:51 For a game.
06:52 For a game, maybe.
06:55 But I think we also need to talk about Cole Parnell a bit.
06:58 Because I think he went under the radar.
07:00 I was saying to him he would.
07:02 He is a very good player.
07:04 I didn't think he would do as good as he has been.
07:06 But he's fitting seamlessly.
07:09 And he looks very good.
07:10 Man the match.
07:11 Yeah, man the match is the worst game in the history of football.
07:14 So you think that team is...
07:16 Because you both predicted...
07:17 Remind the viewers where you said they'd finish the season.
07:20 You did say fifth.
07:21 And you said fifth.
07:22 So are these next six games, that'll be 16 games in.
07:25 And they'll be temps still, if they're lucky.
07:27 So you're still pretty happy with fifth, right?
07:29 I'll stick...
07:30 I did say back down to sixth, but...
07:32 Back of fifth, I'm afraid.
07:33 Well, I'll just stick with what I said at the start.
07:36 Stick with what you said.
07:37 You think Robert Sanchez will save you enough points
07:39 and Gusto at right back?
07:40 Yeah, I'm...
07:41 And Caldwell?
07:42 We'll talk about keepers later.
07:43 Okay, and Gallagher in the field.
07:44 So you're both sticking with that.
07:46 I think 12th is on.
07:47 I think, honestly, I'm just so bored of hearing,
07:49 "Oh, we beat Burnley away."
07:51 Well, so did everyone.
07:52 Because they conceded for five...
07:53 But anyway, I can see a little bit of signs of improvement.
07:55 One of the worst games in the history of the Premier League.
07:57 That wasn't a bad game.
07:58 Quality-wise.
07:59 It wasn't a bad game at all.
08:00 Pending two passes together, it really was poor.
08:03 But I think it's fair.
08:04 I think you two are still sticking...
08:06 But let us know, what do you think?
08:08 Are Chelsea, have they turned a corner?
08:09 Are they back with two incredible wins against the bottom up?
08:12 Sorry, one incredible draw and a win at Burnley?
08:15 Or are they still going to slump again?
08:16 That's the real question, isn't it?
08:18 And we'll find out next week.
08:19 It's annoying they've got Brentford at home, actually,
08:21 because I'd like them to play a big boy.
08:23 I think we'll be better against the big boys.
08:26 It can't be any worse because we've not been very good against them.
08:31 That's our Chelsea chat then.
08:32 They did get a point at home to Arsenal.
08:34 That is a good move.
08:36 Before the game, you'd have taken that, obviously.
08:38 100%.
08:39 You'd have taken that.
08:40 But the striking option is a little bit worrying, I do think.
08:42 When Jackson came on, he looked so devoid of confidence.
08:44 He's got his confidence back.
08:46 He just came on and he didn't...
08:49 That chance to go 3-0.
08:50 I know.
08:51 And it was his first...
08:53 The only thing I'm giving him is literally his first touch.
08:55 Hang on, but still, he just didn't know what to do there.
08:57 I mean, that was...
08:58 Okay, you move on.
09:00 Okay, that's Chelsea.
09:01 Now, Arsenal.
09:02 I want to talk about Arsenal because we were with a lot of Arsenal fans
09:05 on Saturday for the game.
09:06 And all I kept hearing was, "You've over-complicated it.
09:09 "Arteta's doing too much."
09:10 And what I want to think about is they've signed Rayo in goal.
09:13 They've signed Havertz and they've signed Declan Rice.
09:16 And it seems like the three players, it's going to be huge, isn't it,
09:19 how he uses them.
09:20 And I think if Rayo comes in and replaces Ramsdale
09:22 and a few Arsenal fans aren't too sure.
09:24 We've got Havertz, who started the season
09:26 and then obviously has been benched now, but coming on.
09:28 And we've got Declan Rice, who's not...
09:30 He's kind of playing, as they say, the field,
09:32 but covering a lot of the left-back for the inverted full-back.
09:34 I'd like to know, I'd like to know your thoughts first.
09:36 Is Arteta over-complicating it?
09:38 I wouldn't say that at this point because...
09:41 Listen, they've just come off beating City
09:44 and they've got a point away at Chelsea.
09:46 I think the standards are getting so high at Arsenal now,
09:49 we're trying to pick little decisions,
09:52 but listen, the goal difference off top of the league.
09:55 And all these decisions are going to be much easier to take
09:58 later in the season.
09:59 Right now, everyone's fresh, everyone wants to play, right?
10:01 And the schedule isn't too busy.
10:03 There's international breaks every three weeks.
10:05 You get into December, January,
10:07 you've got the pile-up of fixtures in December and January.
10:10 You've got the Champions League comes back in the knockout stages
10:13 and players start to get injured.
10:15 These decisions are more to take care of themselves
10:17 at that time of year because you've got less players available.
10:20 I think that's a big factor here,
10:22 is that you're over-complicating it, right?
10:24 And Ramsey perhaps, but in the other positions,
10:27 it's going to get much easier to pick a team
10:29 when less players are available.
10:30 That sounds simple, but it's true.
10:32 We talked about... I criticised Arteta for the plan B,
10:35 you're not getting a plan B striker.
10:37 They probably still need to do that in January,
10:39 but Havertz kind of did that.
10:41 It's the same thing happened against City.
10:44 It just worked.
10:45 Go long, basically.
10:47 If it's working, that's kind of the argument I made, really.
10:50 They need to get a different type of striker
10:52 so they can play differently when things don't go well.
10:55 But Havertz is kind of making that happen.
10:57 They are willing to go long ball if they have to.
11:00 They say what they want, they keep getting these late results.
11:04 We always say that's a sign of champions.
11:06 Yeah, you're 100% right.
11:08 We condemned Arteta in the past.
11:10 I love Arteta.
11:11 What you just said there is hugely right.
11:13 He's come up with a different plan.
11:14 What do you think? Arteta a genius?
11:16 Or is he over-complicating it?
11:17 No, I think at the moment, they probably are.
11:21 He's bought Havertz in
11:23 because he thinks he can play in this role.
11:26 We started off the season less centimetre.
11:28 He can't do anything what Xhaka could do to us.
11:31 We started off the season basically nothing of a similar role.
11:35 I think he's still trying to think,
11:37 "Where can I play and what can I do?"
11:40 Now he's on the bench and is just coming on
11:42 to basically hit it long to him and then see what can happen.
11:47 To be fair, I think that's a bad tactic
11:50 because again, the game against us
11:52 and kind of against City as well,
11:54 it was just everyone was passing around,
11:56 not really getting anywhere.
11:58 For us in our game, we were very comfortable defensively.
12:03 As soon as you go to hit it long and get a second ball,
12:06 it kind of disrupts the defensive team.
12:09 It's quite a good tactic.
12:10 Liverpool have been doing that for seven years under the clock.
12:13 They completely bypass midfield, go long, win a second ball
12:17 and then everyone's out.
12:18 They've got Trent to go over the top of the ball.
12:20 It's a similar tactic basically.
12:23 I think Arteta doesn't really know what to do with Habits at all.
12:28 I know they've paid 65 million for him
12:30 and he's trying to fit in somewhere.
12:33 Rice is just like, he'll play well wherever.
12:36 He's a consistent player.
12:38 I don't think it's a problem with Rice.
12:41 But I do think that maybe they're not really creating much this season.
12:46 I looked at the stats as chances created in the league
12:49 and they're not even in the top 10,
12:51 which is quite amazing for a team who's joined top.
12:56 So again, maybe they're getting away with it.
12:59 I got a lot of Arsenal friends and they said
13:01 they're playing so much worse than they were this time last season.
13:04 Which maybe is almost kind of a good thing.
13:07 They've still got maybe the best of kind.
13:11 Or is it sustainable to just...
13:13 Well, Man City were in trouble, right?
13:15 Sometimes we're watching when this is painful.
13:17 Maybe Arteta has learned that you've got to keep the squad fresh, right?
13:20 That's why Pep's teams always start slowly and they kick into gear.
13:23 Man City at the moment are painful.
13:25 So I watched the game at the weekend with a Man City fan against Bryson.
13:29 The first half we were both like, "Should we do something else?"
13:31 It was that bad.
13:32 Maybe Arteta has learned that you can't go 100% all the way from the start.
13:35 You've got to keep your players fresh.
13:37 What I would say is though,
13:38 is that they lost in the Champions League to Lenzerwey, right?
13:40 They're now Sevilla in the doubleheader,
13:42 which will not be easy.
13:43 No way, is that?
13:44 Yeah.
13:45 So if some of you lose that,
13:46 they might not even have Champions League.
13:48 If they go to the Europa League, that would be an absolute nightmare.
13:51 You've got to contend with that.
13:52 But I do worry for them.
13:53 If they pick up an injury to Rice, to Jorginho, to Apartheid,
13:56 and they have to play Havertz week in, week out,
13:59 that's going to slow them down, isn't it?
14:00 We've already seen them when they play poor teams at home.
14:02 They play full of them at home.
14:03 It was 2-2 and he was awful, wasn't he?
14:05 So it'd be interesting what happens there.
14:07 Now, let's go over complicated.
14:08 Because when we were with Arsenal fans,
14:10 obviously Rare got lobbed.
14:13 We were very lucky, wasn't it?
14:14 And all the Arsenal fans, "Oh, what's Ramsdale done wrong?"
14:16 I wouldn't say that, but like...
14:18 He was miles off his line.
14:20 It is a mistake.
14:21 It was a mistake, yeah.
14:22 He's put that side netting.
14:24 Yeah, but he's...
14:25 David Seaman, Brazil.
14:26 I told you what they said.
14:27 The Chelsea goalkeeping coach apparently said to Modric,
14:31 like, what...
14:32 Modric didn't mean it 100%,
14:34 but like, he said to him pretty much,
14:36 like, Rare always looks to cut off his line to go and grab a cross,
14:41 but he's always miles off his line for this.
14:44 Apparently there's quite a similar thing...
14:46 That is Seaman.
14:47 David Seaman used to do it quite a lot, come up crosses,
14:50 but obviously this one got lobbed quite a few times.
14:53 And it's just like a trait he has.
14:54 And I think that was definitely a mistake.
14:56 He was miles off his line there.
14:57 If he's, you know, three or four yards back,
15:00 he just catches it or tips it over.
15:02 A modern day keeper, isn't it?
15:03 Do you think any keeper would say that?
15:04 He's such a strange and unique...
15:07 But it's the positioning.
15:08 He makes it look like that.
15:09 If he's, you know, in a comfortable position there,
15:13 he's not getting lobbed.
15:14 I know he is tall, but he's not the tallest keeper in his presence.
15:16 But let's get back to the question.
15:17 So, the Arsenal fans are saying, well, Ramsdale should start.
15:19 Why did he drop Ramsdale?
15:20 He's a huge leader.
15:21 He's a figure.
15:22 Rare's looking shaky with back passes,
15:24 and he got caught out again against Chelsea.
15:26 So, I'll come to you, Bo, I'll come to you, Jimmy, first.
15:28 Should Ramsdale be in goal?
15:30 Well, from what we've seen over the last couple of weeks, I think so.
15:32 You know, if you're going to make the argument that Ramsdale
15:35 deserves to be dropped for probably minor things,
15:38 minor...
15:39 It's really, you need to drop for not doing enough for Ortega once,
15:42 not because of mistake.
15:43 Well, you mean a minor thing.
15:45 But then, Raya is doing pretty, you know, the pretty major...
15:49 I think that's a big mistake against Madrid.
15:51 There was no need for him to come in early and get that ball.
15:53 There was no one really in the box.
15:54 So, I don't like...
15:55 There's no need for him to charge out.
15:57 You know, obviously, it's a freak thing, but it is a mistake.
16:00 He has to know where the ball is leading him to go and read it better.
16:03 You can't just gamble all the time, because players will exploit that,
16:07 and there will be players who will try to just take the shot.
16:10 But yeah, I think it's pretty harsh.
16:13 I mean, I think the best move would be to just get rid of one of these
16:18 keepers in January.
16:19 I really think about it.
16:20 I don't know why you want to create that level of unneeded competition
16:24 in the goalkeeper spot.
16:25 If you want to fully believe in Raya, fine, then go and loan Ramsdale up
16:29 in January, and then there's no argument.
16:31 There's no issue.
16:32 No one can say to him at every press conference,
16:34 "Why isn't Ramsdale playing?
16:35 What have you done?"
16:36 If I just say, "I believe in him, and there you go.
16:39 Go and play football.
16:40 Ramsdale or the other round."
16:41 Not going to be the other round.
16:42 But I think clean that issue up in January, but I don't think he will.
16:47 But I understand that for other positions, that elite competition,
16:51 don't necessarily have to be decided for the goalkeeper.
16:53 It's not really needed.
16:55 - Tell me of your confidence, right?
16:56 Because now he's been locked.
16:57 He might do the Inanna thing now and be like, "Okay, I'm going to stay
16:59 on my line."
17:00 And then before you know it, goes across the six-yard box,
17:02 someone heads it in, and your goalkeeper coach says,
17:04 "Well, why are you not there?"
17:05 And you start doubting yourself.
17:06 And then in training, things happen.
17:08 I know what you mean.
17:09 What's your view on this?
17:10 Is Ramsdale starting?
17:11 - I think it's incredibly hard…
17:14 If Arteta wants to have these standards, and I think it's incredibly hard
17:19 to be dropping Ramsdale for not…
17:21 He hasn't done anything wrong yet.
17:23 I thought he might…
17:24 If he made a mistake, then Raya would go in.
17:28 But Raya's been…
17:29 He's made quite a lot of mistakes so far.
17:31 Hasn't been very shaky.
17:34 And Ramsdale's just sitting there being like, "Well, you know what?
17:37 If you're going to talk with the tall guy, Arteta, then walk the walk.
17:41 If you think it's a competition, then put me back in because I deserve
17:45 to be playing now."
17:46 - Do you think so?
17:47 - Yeah.
17:48 What's he got wrong?
17:49 - I don't think so.
17:50 I think loyalty in football…
17:51 There's no loyalty in football.
17:52 - Raya's not an upgrade.
17:54 - Raya's a huge upgrade.
17:55 Let me tell you what.
17:56 You're forgetting that against Fulham at home, Ramsdale got lobbed
17:59 from 60 yards, and Pereira shanked it.
18:02 No one talks about it.
18:03 He got lobbed by Sporting last year.
18:04 In the last 10 games of the season, Ramsdale was nowhere to be seen.
18:08 His stats were off a cliff.
18:09 He was getting lobbed.
18:10 He was out of position.
18:11 They came in with the Brewing goal.
18:12 - You know the Brighton game?
18:13 I was at the end of last season, after a tight run, and it was very…
18:16 The media said Ramsdale let him down, and his stats weren't good enough,
18:21 and his ex-G's keepers were minus, rares, plus, heavy.
18:24 A huge swing.
18:25 - One season.
18:26 - Okay, it's one season, right?
18:27 The start of this season, Ramsdale was shaking at Fulham,
18:30 and he hasn't looked great.
18:31 His distribution's not in nowhere near as good, right?
18:33 - His distribution is not good.
18:34 - I gave it a modern…
18:35 - You're not re-watching.
18:36 - No, I haven't seen it.
18:37 But Ramsdale doesn't even try those passes.
18:39 So that's the difference.
18:40 - That's got to be better.
18:41 - It's not, because modern day coaching now, you must have 11 attackers.
18:44 That's how football's progressing.
18:46 And for me, Arteta's going, "Right, my keeper let me down.
18:49 Look, I need a better keeper to win the league."
18:51 Margins are this big.
18:52 - Right, right.
18:53 Isn't that what…
18:54 - Ryan Tottenham, the world class from Ramsdale's up,
18:56 was a world class save.
18:57 And Ramsdale's a three clean sheets, so I think Ramsdale's up one, I believe.
19:00 - It's not all of…
19:01 - It's not, but what I'm saying is I know the stats tell me Ryan's a better goalkeeper.
19:05 He can kick it better.
19:06 - He can't kick it better.
19:07 He literally can't kick it better.
19:08 - Okay, well, it's like saying…
19:09 - He had good stats at Brevard for the last season for kicking it,
19:11 because he's hitting it 70 yards to Ivan Toney, who's going to win it.
19:14 - No, no, no.
19:15 - No, that's why…
19:16 - You haven't…
19:17 - Watch the games.
19:18 - I haven't disagreed with that.
19:19 - I thought all Arsenal fans, when you're watching the games recently,
19:21 Ryan can't kick it any better than their Ramsdale.
19:24 - But it's a level of difficulty, isn't it?
19:26 If you're a centre-back and you go and you pass to your other centre-back,
19:29 obviously your passing ability should be 95%.
19:31 If you're a centre-back and you're trying to hit the diagonal switch
19:33 and you're trying to hit harder balls, of course your passing ability
19:37 should be a little bit lower.
19:38 It might look like, "Oh, you're misplacing."
19:39 But that's progressive football.
19:40 - No, it's not, because the risk of making a mistake when you're passing out…
19:46 - How many goals has Ray Cassidy already done at this stage for Arsenal?
19:48 - I tell you, because what's his name, for us, Sanchez,
19:53 he's got away with it three times and now it's happened.
19:55 - Yes, but we know it's going to happen.
19:56 - And it's going to happen.
19:57 - He kicked out of the parm and he kicked it out against Man City.
20:00 Eventually, it's going to happen.
20:02 You can't keep on giving it away when you're fighting in your own third.
20:05 - We had this at Brighton and obviously Man City do it and Brighton do it.
20:09 The thing is that it will get you more goals than it will because it's not worth the risk.
20:13 - It is worth the risk because if you keep the ball, you've got more time to score in the world.
20:16 It's the Zerby's way.
20:17 - Yes, but you can keep the ball and not give it away in your third.
20:19 - You're not going to keep it because you're whacking 70 yards.
20:21 - No, but you can pick and choose when to do it.
20:24 - The biggest issue is what Arteta does with this.
20:28 If he's going to play that level of competition between two players, it has to be if one player makes a big mistake.
20:36 - Rounds those down.
20:38 - That's what I'm saying.
20:39 If you're going to play the competition game, it has to be fate.
20:42 Someone has to come in when someone makes a mistake and the player who's playing the most keeps his place.
20:47 That's just how it has to work.
20:48 If not, like I said, get rid of rounds sales.
20:50 Fine.
20:51 Make a decision.
20:52 Be bold with it.
20:53 You have to accept it.
20:54 There's no argument.
20:55 No one's going to be saying in February when Ramsdale's playing for West Ham or something, play around with it.
21:01 Just sort the issue out.
21:02 Sit and watch.
21:03 - Yes.
21:04 I don't know if it'll happen in January, but at the end of the next season, there's no chance both of them are there.
21:09 - Big money.
21:10 Newcastle, Chelsea, maybe.
21:11 It's even Europe.
21:12 It has to be European football, of course.
21:14 But also, quite on Ramsdale.
21:16 Southgate's never fancied him, let's be honest.
21:18 He wasn't fancied.
21:19 He was at Sheffield United, wasn't he, before.
21:21 He does have lapses of concentration.
21:23 I think sometimes he's so likable when he comes across in interviews.
21:27 I think we've seen that.
21:28 Sometimes I'm like, "Oh, you know, you want..."
21:29 I think Arsenal fans would love him because of that, right?
21:31 So then you're like, "Oh, I want him to do well."
21:33 But they do look at the stats.
21:34 They tell me.
21:35 - I don't think Ramsdale is a great keeper.
21:38 I think he had a very good season last season, and he's a decent keeper.
21:42 I just don't think if you're replacing him, and I think Mariah is that guy to replace him with.
21:48 If you're going to replace someone who's had a good season for you
21:52 and has clearly liked in the dressing room, just signed a new five-year contract,
21:56 then you've got to replace him with someone who's the elite.
21:59 I think maybe Mike Munion from AC Milan.
22:02 I think he's a great keeper.
22:04 I think that'll be the next keeper who'll be bought for a lot of money.
22:07 But other than that, I think Mariah, mid-table keeper, top.
22:14 He was playing for Brentford last season.
22:16 He and Sanchez, they're like much of a muchers.
22:19 - I was going back to Gorky before we finished.
22:22 You just believe Gorky should be taking big risks.
22:24 They should be playing a certain way.
22:26 Because you said Bournemouth obviously made a key player mistake.
22:28 - You've got to pick and choose when to do it.
22:30 Sanchez, 77 minutes, 2-0, the most castable thing.
22:34 Don't pass it when you're left out to someone who,
22:37 okay, it's not even that hard of a pass, but if you screw it up,
22:42 - Swear is allowed, don't you?
22:43 - Then, you know, it changes the game completely.
22:46 You know when to do it and when not to do it.
22:48 - Game management is decisions.
22:50 They can always pass it.
22:52 They're like, good enough players to do these passes.
22:55 Just pick and choose when to do it.
22:57 - But if he goes 70 yards right and he picks in the corner,
22:59 Pochettino's going to go flying out.
23:01 - No, he won't. No one will do that.
23:04 - I think no one does. Modern day management.
23:06 Okay, that's the real ask though.
23:07 So do we think Arteta's over-complicating it?
23:09 We think, no, let's see how he gets on.
23:11 You know, he's had a good start.
23:13 They're keeping pace with Man City, aren't they?
23:15 And, you know, at the moment,
23:16 probably where they want to be, right?
23:17 They're in the side risks.
23:19 They're in the Champions League, obviously one bad result.
23:21 They're betting this new squad, new keeper,
23:24 not sure if they're going to do it,
23:25 but Rice has fitted in well.
23:27 And Saliba, Gabriel are fit.
23:28 As long as they stay fit, we think Arsenal will be right up there, right?
23:31 - Yeah, I think it'll be.
23:33 - So, okay, perfect.
23:34 And here we go, it's Tom's teaser.
23:36 I've got a good one for you today, okay?
23:38 Last week, we had the left foot, right foot penalty.
23:41 It was a toughie, wasn't it?
23:42 You were watching the side push.
23:43 Did you get that one right?
23:45 - No, I didn't.
23:46 - Tough one, okay.
23:47 I really thought you'd get that.
23:48 That's the reason I did it that week.
23:50 Okay, so here we go.
23:51 Thank you for those who've been playing at home.
23:53 Let's go then.
23:54 So Tom's teaser today.
23:56 Outside of England,
23:59 outside of England,
24:01 which country has produced the most players in the Premier League?
24:06 - Is that in France?
24:08 - Yeah, France.
24:09 A lot of that in.
24:11 Any other countries springs to mind?
24:14 Outside of England.
24:16 - Yeah, no.
24:19 It's got to be France, I think.
24:22 - Which country has produced the most players?
24:24 - I mean, I was thinking France, but I'm going to go for Scotland.
24:29 - Scotland.
24:30 - You emphasised England.
24:32 - Emphasising.
24:33 - Well, I'll try and get you in second place.
24:36 Ireland, Republic of Ireland.
24:38 - Really?
24:39 - We've got to think, you know, it's not just top players, is it?
24:42 But in first place is France.
24:44 Well done.
24:45 France.
24:46 - I got there.
24:47 - The conveyor belt of French footballers coming through.
24:50 There it is, Arsene Wenger bringing it home.
24:53 - I thought he was going straight in.
24:54 I knew it was France.
24:55 I hesitated.
24:56 - So France it was, and thank you.
24:58 They've made the Premier League so much better having French players.
25:01 They're class, they're skilled, and that's why they win World Cups
25:05 and tournaments, right, because they have so many good players.
25:07 Right, that's Tom's teaser.
25:08 Well done, Jamie.
25:09 That was nice.
25:10 Sets the tone for the quiz later.
25:11 Super.
25:12 Right, next topic we have to talk about, Merseyside derby, okay?
25:15 12.30, Co-op was initially unhappy at 12.30.
25:19 After the game, he said, "We were lucky."
25:22 Okay, and why they were lucky was because, if you haven't seen it,
25:25 Everton received a red card for Ashley Young in the first half.
25:28 A simmer cast of the same foul didn't get booked, a canate on a yellow card
25:33 for a cynical foul, and the referee bottled it.
25:36 I'm not saying anything else.
25:37 The referee bottled it.
25:38 The referee wanted to make a big decision.
25:40 You can tell, and I'm usually so pro-referees, and I'm on my tether with them, right?
25:44 No consistency.
25:45 Everton go to the 10.
25:47 For those watching it, it just screamed nil-nil.
25:49 We were speaking to a Liverpool fan, and it was like, "Nil-nil,"
25:52 and some of the Liverpool players were awful, by the way.
25:55 They looked so tired.
25:56 But your reaction versus Jamie to the red cards?
25:58 Yeah, it's a joke.
25:59 It's a joke.
26:01 I mean, the red card itself, I'm okay with it.
26:04 I mean, yeah, I think Luis Diaz, I think it was, is really clever
26:07 and kind of moving his leg in the way, but yeah, Ashley Young can't dive in on a yellow.
26:12 Fine.
26:13 It's probably-- I'd like to see a derby.
26:15 I'd like to see him let it go, just to, you know, let one go for each team.
26:19 I'm fine with that, but fine.
26:21 It's probably a seven-yellow.
26:23 But then, yeah, Canarty, he's got the other side of him.
26:29 Not through, he's got one more defender to beat the other side of him.
26:32 So, he's basically got a one-on-one with the defender on the other side
26:35 and just swings a leg at him.
26:37 It's the most yellow card of all yellow cards.
26:40 He knows what he's doing.
26:41 He knows he's coming off the top.
26:42 Off the top of the lovely Senegal.
26:44 And then he just, like you said, he bottles it, and then Jürgen Klopp cleverly takes him off,
26:49 and that's that.
26:51 He's-- you wonder, for me, all the morning that Liverpool have done about referee decisions,
26:57 and we say, "Yeah, you just get on with it," and on some level it works, doesn't it?
27:02 Because Craig Pawson has clearly got that on his mind.
27:05 Oh, he's even out.
27:06 For sure.
27:07 He's clearly got that on his mind.
27:08 Yeah.
27:09 Of, "Do I do this?
27:10 Do I make myself another talking point for Liverpool fans?
27:13 And do I get called out by Klopp?"
27:15 That, like, it works.
27:17 That PR pressure works.
27:19 And they've got to sort that out.
27:21 He's already started.
27:22 He's already started.
27:23 He said, "We were lucky," and he goes, "Oh, but, you know, overtime there, go over it.
27:26 You know, it's happened to us."
27:27 He's keeping it narrative.
27:28 "It's happened to us, OK?
27:29 Maybe we'll get a few more decisions."
27:31 But as Dyche said, he said, "Ridiculous, bizarre decision for everyone involved."
27:36 Would you agree with that?
27:37 Yeah, it's one of the ones where you watch it and you just know-- the player knows,
27:42 everyone in the crowd knows that's a second yellow.
27:46 The ref, that's-- you can tell when they were zooming in on him, and he's just thinking.
27:51 All he's going on in his mind is thinking, "Do I do this or not?
27:55 But I know it's the right thing to do, but do I actually give it?"
27:58 Because he knows it's a second yellow card as well.
28:00 Of course everyone knows.
28:01 Damn.
28:02 And I think it's the ultimate embarrassment for a ref when the manager takes the player off,
28:08 like, the next second.
28:09 When that happens, you just know, "God, that's bad."
28:11 It was kind of cringe, actually, wasn't it?
28:12 It is, isn't it?
28:13 It was like, "Elon Coles, Matip," and you're thinking, "Crape Awesome."
28:15 It was Neil Neal at the time as well.
28:16 I don't think Liverpool looked like scoring.
28:18 I think they were awful.
28:19 They were really bad.
28:21 I mean, I know you were in touch with McAllister.
28:23 They looked laggy, didn't they?
28:25 Yeah.
28:26 He's-- oh, yeah.
28:27 I think McAllister on a separate note has just been a bit underwhelming so far.
28:31 He's playing that deep role, and he's kind of just losing the ball quite a lot.
28:35 I don't think he's really doing much.
28:38 I don't know what Liverpool fans think.
28:40 I've got a friend who thinks he's just a bit mech.
28:43 He's not really doing much for the fanfare about him.
28:48 You kind of said it before, to be fair.
28:50 You said Alvaro Carcedo and McAllister, you thought, "$55 million for McAllister?
28:55 Fine, I will take that."
28:57 Yeah, that's the thing.
28:58 He actually really struggled with nerves.
28:59 When he first set with O'Brien, he struggled with the first two.
29:01 He was awful.
29:02 He said he got every Premier League game, nerves, just a bag of nerves.
29:06 Then he said at the World Cup, weirdly, was the first day of nerves,
29:09 maybe the messy factor.
29:11 You can tell.
29:12 You know when someone gets the ball?
29:13 We all play football.
29:14 You're nervous, and you just do something you shouldn't do.
29:16 You take an extra touch.
29:17 Takes an extra touch.
29:18 Exactly, and that's what he's doing.
29:19 Instead of just spraying that around the trent or doing this,
29:21 he's going up, up, up, and he gets tackled.
29:23 You can see it.
29:24 He looks like the whole world is on his shoulders.
29:26 I've noticed Kop's been taking off a little bit.
29:28 I've noticed he's just not at it so far.
29:30 I agree.
29:31 I think there was one moment that stands out where someone throws the ball to him,
29:36 and he tries to knock it back for his time, and it goes straight out of play.
29:40 That's the perfect example.
29:43 You say, "I've got to get this right."
29:47 We've all been there.
29:48 We've all played football.
29:49 We go, "Oh, yeah, up, up, up," and you knock it.
29:51 "Oh, wait, what are we doing?"
29:52 You've all played there when you're there, and you just touch his gold, right?
29:56 As he's struggling with the confidence, and you've got that outfield crowd on you,
29:59 and they start losing some games.
30:00 I don't think they're not on him or anything.
30:02 I just think he probably knows he's not playing that well at the moment
30:05 because you don't want that pressure of--
30:08 He's the one that's--
30:10 He's the one who's better at passing it out the back,
30:12 and if you keep on making those mistakes, then it just gets on your own back.
30:19 "Oh, no, I can't do this again. I can't do this again."
30:22 I don't know.
30:23 It might just turn around a bit.
30:25 Again, they're not really playing with the defenders in the field.
30:28 Graven--
30:29 Yeah.
30:30 Hopefully I didn't butcher his name.
30:32 No, you're--
30:34 He's playing really far-- He's playing far further forward.
30:36 I don't know why he started in the January--
30:38 I thought he played all right to be fair, but he's not--
30:42 I thought he was more defensive and he kind of stood forward a bit more, but I don't know.
30:45 Weirdly, why?
30:46 Because every week we're like, "They're not really in a title run.
30:49 They're not really good enough, and no CDM and defence."
30:51 It's like, "Grind and have a win."
30:53 And the next four fixtures, like we said last week, are really easy.
30:56 It's what happens.
30:57 If Jürgen Klopp sees it--
30:58 And they have got a cheat code in Mohamed Salah.
31:00 He did nothing the whole game.
31:02 Pedal, he scores again.
31:04 He's got seven goals and four assists.
31:06 And you think, "You know, that's pretty special."
31:08 And considering he's not doing much, if you've got a cheat code there,
31:11 and you've got Nunes to bring on, you've got Gakko to bring on,
31:13 you've got your Harvey Elliott to bring on, you're thinking,
31:15 "Oh, actually, maybe they are in it.
31:17 They are, but are they?"
31:18 I think so, yeah.
31:19 I think you mentioned with McAllister and Graven,
31:22 where this midfield is still kind of finding its way.
31:25 It's a completely new midfield.
31:27 There isn't much senior leadership in there, as I mentioned before,
31:30 with Henderson and Milner going.
31:33 I think there's potential for this midfielders to get better and better
31:37 as they get more comfortable.
31:40 We'll see if they do.
31:41 I mean, yeah, the other players in there as well.
31:44 But like you said, the Gator wins.
31:46 I don't know what it is.
31:48 Is it their point off, I think, or something?
31:50 They are point off, yeah.
31:51 Oh, we say it's top of the win.
31:53 I imagine it's a game that's supposed to be a voice.
31:55 Yeah, it's top of the win.
31:56 But like we said, with Arsenal and Atletico, Liverpool are in a totally fine position.
32:01 They've got some winnable games now.
32:03 The stand-ups are big tests as well.
32:05 They went to Newcastle and won against the odds.
32:08 Chelsea, obviously, first game of the season.
32:10 But yeah, they take care of business in these games that they need and should win.
32:15 I mean, they'll be right up there.
32:17 I think once you reach to somebody right up there, the rest takes over.
32:20 It's quite interesting.
32:21 I've got quite a lot of parallels with them in the past at this.
32:24 I don't think either of them have ever played that well.
32:26 And they've got quite a lot of points springing.
32:30 I think Spurs have been playing quite well.
32:32 And this is like maybe the piece of their peak.
32:35 I don't think they'll…
32:37 Well, Watson went five nil tonight, I guess.
32:39 Yeah, but I don't know.
32:41 I feel like Spurs have been playing well and been picking up points.
32:44 Whereas Arsenal haven't been playing that well.
32:47 Liverpool haven't been playing that well.
32:48 They've still picked up quite a lot of points.
32:49 And Man City, they're falling to sleep at the moment.
32:53 They are literally in gear one.
32:55 And they're giving every team a bit of a chance here, you know.
32:57 And I think Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal, take advantage.
33:01 Villa flying, yeah.
33:03 Four-one, they were four-nine.
33:04 Emre doing that.
33:05 I know, they look dangerous, don't they?
33:07 Yeah, Luiz in midfield, pinging in goals.
33:09 Five goals, huh?
33:10 I think he won.
33:11 No, two.
33:12 Two, two.
33:13 But he's absolutely…
33:14 Yeah, Aston Villa, who would have thought that?
33:16 Get them in the huddle as well.
33:17 Newcastle, yeah.
33:18 It's way up.
33:19 It could be a really good title.
33:21 Yeah, I'm not buying Newcastle.
33:23 I'm still not buying that.
33:24 As we'll find out now.
33:25 They hit six in every game.
33:27 Yeah, I am not buying Newcastle are a good football team.
33:30 And that was nicely on the best bets then, right?
33:33 So, best bets, Jamie, there's rumours going around you had another little winner.
33:37 I did, yes.
33:38 It took Man City and Brighton, both teams to score, and Man City to win.
33:41 So, that brought me home £2375 of up to the retirement fund, if you're with me, up to £30.
33:48 Oh, look at that.
33:50 Green, green, green.
33:52 Green, can you match green?
33:55 Oh, no.
33:56 But I was going to tell you what, the closest bet, or the most disappointing bet I've ever had,
34:03 was on Saturday for my best bet, which I didn't put on because I was away in Cyprus,
34:09 but we discussed it before and what it was.
34:11 I know what that group is, so I missed it.
34:12 So, it was Salah to score any time, Ashley Young to be booked.
34:17 Twice, yeah, twice.
34:18 And Ashley Young to commit a foul, basically.
34:22 Oh, good, superb.
34:23 Liverpool to win, or I didn't put that in in the end, but then it was Onana to make a foul in the game.
34:29 One.
34:30 One foul, that's it.
34:31 Any more than that would be fine.
34:33 So, that was a 9-1, I think it was, 9-1.
34:37 We returned 100, would have been...
34:39 So, come in.
34:40 Onana didn't commit a foul the whole game.
34:44 All I needed from April, from the penalty, but I thought Salah might score anyway,
34:49 was just him to make a foul.
34:50 I think it's possibly the only game he's ever played in his life where he hasn't committed a foul.
34:54 That's the one, the bankers, that wasn't the Onana foul.
34:56 I shouldn't even put it in, but it was just bad luck.
35:00 That's his bad luck.
35:01 He chased his winnings.
35:02 He had the bet, so in that 4-1, went, "Oh, no, no, I'll go Onana."
35:06 And now it went to, "Oh, no, no."
35:08 He's a foul machine.
35:09 Minus 40 or 50?
35:12 Minus every week, I believe.
35:15 Okay, so then I went for...
35:18 Now, when I say Newcastle are a bad team, Newcastle are going to be a good team at home.
35:22 And they play Crystal Palace, who have caused so many injuries.
35:25 They won 4-0, pretty comfortable.
35:26 Then they went to Arsenal to get an away win at quite an easy mid-table club.
35:30 But unfortunately, they got a 2-2 draw at Chelsea.
35:33 So, unfortunately, I missed out on my bet as well.
35:35 That would have been a nice, juicy one.
35:36 This week, who have you got them?
35:38 Go on, Jimmy, who have you gone for?
35:39 So, this week is a week of favourites.
35:41 I've got teams that should win.
35:42 I mean, that's dangerous in itself, I know.
35:44 But that's what I'm going to go for.
35:45 I've got Chelsea to beat Brentford at home.
35:47 Brentford not being great this season.
35:49 Arsenal to beat Sheffield United at home.
35:51 Sheffield United got one point so far.
35:53 Villa to beat Luton at home.
35:55 Villa are flying.
35:56 Luton not.
35:57 So, what are you getting so far?
35:58 And Liverpool to beat Fierce at home.
36:00 Oh, okay.
36:01 This is not like you, this.
36:03 All these favourites and they only add up to 1.86 to 1,
36:08 which is going to return you 28-56.
36:11 Four games and that's all banking on Chelsea.
36:14 Big favourites, wow.
36:16 And no lunchtime kick-offs.
36:19 Don't think.
36:21 Listen, don't doubt.
36:22 Chelsea, the Chelsea lunchtime kick-off.
36:25 That's the hardest one as well.
36:26 There's only one one of our last two.
36:28 Don't back the lunchtime figure.
36:30 Don't tell us the last time.
36:31 What's the last time one?
36:32 Oh, is it?
36:33 Oh, the Wolfs?
36:34 Liverpool.
36:35 Okay, right.
36:36 What have you gone for?
36:37 So, I've gone a bit rogue because I was just looking at the pictures.
36:39 Rogue, you're chasing the money.
36:41 And, you know, there's a lot of bankers, but I'm going to go for...
36:48 I feel bad even saying it because I don't think it's going to happen,
36:51 but Bournemouth playing Burnley.
36:56 I think Bournemouth are finally going to have to get a win somewhere.
36:59 I know they've been awful.
37:00 But Burnley have been even worse.
37:02 True.
37:03 So, there's been a few goals in Bournemouth games.
37:06 So, Bournemouth to win and both teams to score.
37:09 How can you start with straight B?
37:12 Bournemouth to win, both teams to score.
37:16 10 to 3, so £10 on returns £43.
37:20 I feel bad.
37:21 £43.
37:22 That's the way it is.
37:23 You're backing Bournemouth with no wins this season.
37:26 Let's say, I think, the company are way up for it instead of 1-1, didn't they?
37:30 So, I suppose they've got a goal away from home.
37:32 Bournemouth do need a win.
37:33 They have to win eventually, right?
37:34 Yeah.
37:35 They play attacking football.
37:36 Yeah, I mean, goals.
37:37 I think you're right with goals.
37:39 It's a struggle.
37:40 Burnley was so bad.
37:41 I mean, Tottenham...
37:42 I don't think that's the struggle.
37:43 I think the struggle is Bournemouth to win because...
37:45 Burnley might win.
37:46 It's just a championship game, isn't it?
37:49 I think a better bet would have been Arsene Wenger the next year as Bond.
37:52 Yeah, I think you're right.
37:53 I think you're right.
37:54 I think you've got shorter odds, I think.
37:56 Right, okay.
37:57 So, that's your best bet.
37:58 Helen, I'm saying this and I've also gone rogue because I think Gary Neal, incredible job at Wolves.
38:04 I think he's turned it around lovely.
38:06 They've got...
38:07 At home, they're going to pick up points this season.
38:09 They've scared a few big teams already.
38:11 Wolves, Newcastle, both teams to score, draw.
38:14 Yeah, I think we can see that.
38:16 I can see it because I think really good odds as well.
38:18 3.5, 10% is 45.
38:20 And Newcastle have Champions League, right?
38:22 So, they have Dortmund.
38:24 So, they have Dortmund.
38:26 Yeah, they can pump for that Dortmund.
38:28 They probably should win that.
38:30 And then Wolves, you don't want Wolves away from home.
38:33 They're quite tricky, aren't they?
38:34 Neta as well.
38:35 Yeah, Neta, Kuna.
38:36 They do create a lot.
38:37 And if they start converting those chances...
38:39 Listen, if they beat Newcastle, I wouldn't be that surprised if I'm honest with you.
38:42 I don't think Newcastle will win.
38:43 Cue the 5-0.
38:44 I don't think Newcastle will win.
38:46 So, I'm going draw, return 45 after Dortmund, whole week.
38:50 And I really like Aaron Neville.
38:52 I think he's a good manager.
38:53 He doesn't get...
38:54 He's just not flashy, is he?
38:56 I think it was like Aaron forgets he's a manager.
38:58 He just gets it done, does his job.
39:00 If I answered him about on sleep beating, yeah,
39:02 Dortmund would have left it all.
39:04 Especially, it's like...
39:05 So, there's a lot of kind of fanfare about Aero before.
39:10 And obviously, you play at managing La Liga.
39:14 And obviously, you've got to give them a bit more time.
39:16 But it's not really working at the moment, is it?
39:19 Yeah, I think it's so hard to start Gary Roney in the last season.
39:22 I like him, but...
39:24 And then it got about the wrong way.
39:25 He has such an earthy team, a right-right panel,
39:30 a work-hard team.
39:31 And he comes to Bournemouth,
39:32 he'll give him a significant amount of money really
39:35 and sign him a couple of flashy players.
39:37 He's not the type of...
39:38 Not Bournemouth.
39:39 You go for the fancy manager, isn't he?
39:41 They've got a good manager doing a good job
39:43 keeping Bournemouth in the Premier League.
39:45 And then they're like, "Right, okay.
39:46 The flashy manager.
39:47 Let's play progressive football."
39:49 Listen, credit, fair play to them.
39:51 Because if it comes off, you've got to say,
39:53 "Great for the fans."
39:54 How can it come off, is it?
39:55 Apart from this Saturday.
39:56 Another key mistake.
39:57 Another key mistake.
39:58 Passing it out the back.
39:59 Are they going to steal many goals?
40:01 It's okay if you keep making mistakes.
40:02 If a striker might bail you out,
40:04 but is Salenki going to score you enough goals?
40:06 Probably not.
40:08 That's the problem, isn't it?
40:09 That means that home form has to be incredible.
40:12 And their home support, they haven't got many fans,
40:13 is going to really struggle.
40:15 But I like it.
40:16 I think the fans are watching it.
40:17 I've not watched much of Bournemouth this season,
40:19 but I'd rather watch that bit of fun, isn't it?
40:21 And what I see,
40:22 they probably should have stuck with the Gary Neville.
40:23 But hey, amazing manager.
40:24 Doesn't get much credit.
40:26 Right, that leads us then straight into the quiz.
40:29 Are you two ready for the quiz?
40:31 - Yes, after bottling that Tom's Teaser.
40:35 - Tom's Teaser.
40:36 I've been bottling Tom's Teaser.
40:37 Let me get my notes for the quiz.
40:39 So, okay then.
40:40 So we know how this works, okay?
40:42 We know how this works.
40:43 If you jump in, get it wrong, you're out.
40:45 Okay, you're out one guess.
40:46 Five questions here.
40:48 Jamie, you earned the right to play Louis
40:50 after you beat me,
40:52 due to me getting stoked for Stephen Gerrard's.
40:55 And I'm still not over it.
40:58 I go to bed just going, "Stoked."
41:01 Right, okay.
41:02 So here we go.
41:03 First question is,
41:04 who is the player that's won the most golden boots
41:08 in the Premier League with four in history?
41:11 - Harry Kane.
41:14 - You get called Harry Kane.
41:16 A lot of people in the comments say Harry Kane.
41:18 I can tell you, it's not right.
41:20 - Ah, it went straight in.
41:22 - Straight in, Harry Kane.
41:24 - Um, Salah?
41:30 How many has he got?
41:33 Is he gonna be through?
41:35 - Incorrect, Salah.
41:36 - I think, do I get to go?
41:38 - Agree.
41:39 - Or is it?
41:40 - Do you know what?
41:41 I was using a cut.
41:42 If you're happy with me to go back in
41:44 and you get another go, then fine.
41:46 I'm gonna leave that up to you.
41:47 - I'll take the nil-nil.
41:48 - What were you thinking?
41:50 - It's gotta be Shearer.
41:52 - Incorrect.
41:53 - Well, really.
41:54 - We talk about French players gracing our league.
41:58 - Henri, Henri, Henri.
41:59 - Henri got four.
42:00 - I thought he was the same as Kane.
42:01 - I was quite surprised, though.
42:02 - I knew he was like one of the top.
42:04 - Henri, four.
42:05 Henri, French come back.
42:07 Right, next one.
42:09 Man City and which other Premier League team
42:13 not had a draw this season?
42:15 - Villa.
42:18 - Incorrect.
42:19 - I'm going straight in again.
42:20 - Come again.
42:21 - Oh.
42:22 I should think about things before I go in.
42:25 - It's good that that door is open.
42:27 Man City and whichever Premier League team
42:30 have not had a draw this season?
42:33 - I think someone down the bottom.
42:37 - Burnley.
42:38 - Burnley?
42:39 - Is that your answer?
42:41 - Yeah.
42:42 - Told you they drew a forest, didn't I?
42:44 Not Burnley.
42:45 - I think I know.
42:46 - I'm not going to go in.
42:47 - Everton.
42:50 - Who are Man City playing this weekend?
42:52 - They're playing Manchester United.
42:56 - United.
42:57 - Man City may not have had a draw this season.
43:00 They play the Manchester Derby on Sunday
43:02 and what's the score going to be?
43:04 It'll be a draw now, won't it?
43:06 Is that Old Trafford actually?
43:08 - It's very interesting.
43:09 - They seem to always get a result there.
43:11 A lucky refereeing decision,
43:12 that one's too, that offside.
43:13 - Oh yeah.
43:14 - Quickly, quick prediction, just a quick name.
43:16 Man United, Man City, winner, win or draw?
43:19 City or away win?
43:20 - City.
43:21 - Away win.
43:22 Yeah, I think I'm going leaning draw City
43:25 because Man City are asleep, bad, aren't they?
43:28 Right, next one, who am I, okay?
43:30 Who am I?
43:31 There's a lot of clubs here,
43:32 but if you want to guess it, jump in.
43:34 - Is it their career path?
43:35 - Whole career, oh yeah, so it's their career path.
43:38 So where they started until where they retired, okay?
43:41 Who am I?
43:42 So their teams they've played for,
43:44 Wolves, Coventry, Inter Milan.
43:48 - Robbie Keane.
43:49 - Robbie Keane, wow.
43:51 Leeds, Spurs, Liverpool, Spurs, Celtic, West Ham,
43:56 LA Galaxy, Villa.
43:58 Where did he finish his career?
44:00 Did he, I guess like Cork is Ireland, India.
44:05 - India?
44:06 - Atletico Del Calcata.
44:08 Where is he now?
44:09 - He can't, is he an assistant manager?
44:12 - He's a manager, he's a manager, yeah.
44:15 I think he's Israel, I think he's a full on manager.
44:18 He's definitely a manager, yeah.
44:19 I was looking at it, I was thinking,
44:21 he's already here by now, isn't he?
44:23 One of the best celebrations in the Premier League,
44:25 by the way.
44:26 1-0, you jumped in earlier,
44:28 you got that from Inter, didn't you?
44:30 - I was going on Coventry and then Inter,
44:33 but then, yeah.
44:34 - Fair point, no points.
44:36 Right, the next one, you need this, okay?
44:38 We will do all fives against.
44:40 Right, so we have,
44:43 in the 2016 season,
44:46 Leicester won the league,
44:47 in 2016 they won the league.
44:49 Jamie Vardy scored 24 Premier League goals.
44:54 Mahrez scored 18 Premier League goals.
44:59 Who was the third top goal scorer in the Premier League?
45:02 - Who?
45:04 - I was going to go, who?
45:06 - King.
45:07 - Harry Kane.
45:08 - King, yeah, King.
45:10 - No, the third top goal scorer for Leicester.
45:12 - Leicester?
45:13 - Yeah, sorry, that's not good.
45:14 - I'll go.
45:15 - So, the Leicester, sorry,
45:17 Vardy 24, Mahrez 18 for Leicester,
45:20 who was their third top goal scorer?
45:21 - Germain.
45:22 - Germain.
45:23 - I feel like I want to go left field,
45:25 but at least he got it wrong,
45:27 it's a free gamble.
45:28 - Free gamble, he scored it wrong.
45:34 - Hoof.
45:35 - Robert Hoof.
45:36 - That was my odd.
45:37 - Robert Hoof had three goals.
45:39 - Ojoa's definitely got more than that.
45:41 - No, no, yeah.
45:43 - Okazaki had five goals.
45:47 Ojoa had six goals.
45:50 - Did he?
45:51 - God's surprising, yeah, Ojoa.
45:52 - I can't believe that.
45:54 - Can you believe that, Mahrez had 18 Premier League goals?
45:58 - Yeah.
45:59 - Tunia said that many,
46:00 and Vardy was on pens.
46:01 - I know, he did well.
46:02 - That's a go-between game,
46:03 that's incredible.
46:04 - I think he took one or two pens.
46:06 - Yeah.
46:07 - If top, what was top goal scorer,
46:09 like in the Premier League,
46:10 it must have been,
46:11 it must be up there,
46:12 Mahrez, 18.
46:13 - I think Kane won it, yeah he did.
46:15 Right, last one.
46:16 I'll do it anyway, okay?
46:18 So it's 2-0, put a bit of pride now, Jamie,
46:20 put a bit of pride.
46:22 What was the highest ever
46:23 Premier League scoring game,
46:25 with the most goals?
46:27 - We got it,
46:30 Portsmouth, Reading.
46:32 - What was the score?
46:33 - 7-4, but I don't know if anything's changed since then.
46:36 - Interesting, so 7-4, 11 goals,
46:38 hasn't been changed.
46:39 - I don't think that's changed,
46:40 was that for ages?
46:42 - Didn't it, Liam?
46:43 7-4's still the one.
46:46 - More than that.
46:47 - I don't know.
46:50 - West Brom, Man United, 5-5,
46:53 7-4 is correct, 3-0.
46:56 - Portsmouth, Reading,
46:57 what was that, it was in September,
46:58 what was that game, 7-4, 3-0,
47:01 comfortable, you jumped in the first two,
47:03 but you did it, Jamie,
47:04 we come back stronger, okay?
47:06 We will get in one day.
47:07 - I had Tom Seaser, so I'll leave with Tom Seaser.
47:09 - Yeah, you went with Tom Seaser.
47:11 So we discussed a lot,
47:12 thank you, let us know what you think,
47:13 obviously we've talked about,
47:14 are Chelsea back,
47:15 obviously they're not back,
47:16 Louis thinks they are back,
47:17 we also discussed Arteta,
47:19 is he ever complicating it,
47:20 Liverpool, Tees, a quiz,
47:21 best bets,
47:22 listen, if you've got a bet,
47:24 follow Jamie.
47:25 And if you haven't, please subscribe,
47:26 and we'll see you next week.
