00:02 As we'll go down in order of the ranking.
00:05 So that would start us off
00:07 with the world's largest outdoor cocktail party
00:10 in Jacksonville, Florida.
00:12 It was number one, Georgia,
00:13 the Bulldogs versus the Florida Gators, 43 to 20.
00:18 It was all dogs in this one.
00:20 They cover the 14 and a half,
00:22 48 and a half was the total,
00:24 gets up and over largely due to Georgia
00:28 getting there almost by themselves.
00:30 But to tell you the truth, Scott,
00:31 I watched a lot of this game.
00:32 This was over early.
00:35 Florida got that opening drive for a touchdown.
00:37 And then after that,
00:38 they were pretty quiet offensively until the fourth quarter
00:41 and Georgia just keeps rolling.
00:42 What is that?
00:43 Is that 25, 28, something like that
00:46 in terms of straight wins for this Georgia Bulldog team
00:50 under Kirby Smart.
00:51 Pretty impressive there in Athens, Georgia.
00:53 But North Florida, the Gators go down 43 to 20.
00:58 Georgia, they get another win.
00:59 What'd you take away from the cocktail party?
01:01 - Yeah, that was an easy one.
01:04 They spotted Florida, seven, nothing lead,
01:06 but it was 26, seven at the half.
01:09 Really the turning point came as I was watching it through.
01:12 It was tied, I think it was tied at seven at one point.
01:15 And Florida ran a trick play.
01:18 It's actually pretty well-designed.
01:21 They put the quarterback under,
01:23 it was fourth and inches
01:25 right around their own 30 yard line.
01:26 Right, again, you know, little, you know,
01:28 the stupidity here with these head coaches,
01:30 God forbid they should just punt the football, right?
01:32 So they put the quarterback under center.
01:35 The center snapped the ball through the quarterback's legs
01:39 to a running back who was then gonna throw an option pass.
01:43 And the whole thing blew up,
01:44 but it was actually designed fairly well.
01:46 I actually admire them for trying,
01:48 the Napier for trying that play, but it didn't work.
01:51 Georgia takes over, quick touchdown,
01:53 another quick touchdown after that.
01:55 And all of a sudden the seven up the deficit
01:56 was 26, seven at the half ball game over.
01:59 They won this thing now six of the last seven.
02:01 Florida has not been competitive three in a row for Georgia.
02:04 Eight and O now overall on the year for the Bulldogs.
02:06 They're number one for the 20th straight week
02:09 in the AP poll.
02:10 That's the third longest, one behind Miami,
02:13 which was 21 in a row back in the 2001, 2002 season.
02:18 So they host number 16, Missouri,
02:20 start of a three game stretch in which they're facing,
02:22 at least at now, ranked teams.
02:24 So things gonna pick up a little bit here
02:26 for the Georgia Bulldogs who are playing a lot better
02:29 than what I thought I did.
02:30 Carson Beck, you know, from Jacksonville,
02:31 where the game was, he threw for two touchdowns,
02:34 wasn't sacked, he had all day to throw the football
02:37 over 300 yards.
02:38 So an easy win, looking back through,
02:41 it's kind of like, you know what, Florida stinks.
02:43 I mean, I know they beat Tennessee,
02:46 but they're not at this level.
02:48 They lost Anthony Richardson from last year's team.
02:50 And really this is one of those where, you know,
02:54 I should have laid the 16 to 15 and a half,
02:56 whatever it was on Georgia,
02:58 'cause they weren't gonna lose this game.
03:00 And lo and behold, they win and they cover the number.
