00:00 The last national simultaneous earthquake drill for this year will take place on November 9 in Casiguran, Aurora in conjunction with World Tsunami Awareness Day.
00:09 The drill will be live-streamed on the Civil Defense PH and NDRRMC Facebook pages starting at 8 a.m. with a ceremonial button pressing at 9 a.m.
00:19 Casiguran, Aurora is significant as it was struck by a magnitude 7 earthquake in 1968 resulting in tall waves and a positive tsunami assessment.
00:29 The drill will focus on testing the municipality's earthquake and tsunami contingency plan through a simulation exercise.
