00:00 After improving to five and two with a 24 to 20 win over the Browns yesterday,
00:04 the Seahawks have made a big splash before the trade deadline,
00:08 sending a second round pick and a future fifth round pick to the Giants.
00:11 For versatile defensive lineman Leonard Williams, Williams formerly from USC,
00:15 a one time pro bowler, play three tech four eye, as well as off the edge,
00:20 as a stand up defender, he will be an excellent fit in Seattle's defense.
00:23 And this is a player who his past rushing production has been up and
00:26 down throughout his career.
00:28 But four years ago, he had 30 quarterback hits, double digit sacks.
00:31 He's had four seasons with at least five sacks in his career.
00:34 And he historically has been a stout run defender.
00:36 All but two of his NFL seasons,
00:38 he's had at least a 70 overall run defensive grade for pro football focus.
00:42 That physicality, the versatility moving up and down the line, and
00:47 overall production will be an excellent addition for Seattle and well worth
00:50 the price to team him up with Jaron Reed, Mario Edwards, and Draymond Jones to form.
00:55 a pretty exciting quartet in the defensive line interior for Seattle.
