00:00 Matthew Perry sadly passed away over the weekend. What are your memories of the star?
00:07 Friends, man. He's gutted and he was a sick guy. I read it in the paper.
00:13 Were you a fan of him?
00:15 Yeah, friends who wasn't. Absolutely fantastic man.
00:18 Yeah, it was a shock. Everyone has memorable moments for me. All the phrase words that he uses, the phrases and the head gestures and the jokes.
00:27 It was a shock to find out. When they just said it was a joke, you see stuff, they just put stuff up for clicks.
00:33 When I saw that I was like, no way. And he was only like 54.
00:37 I feel really sad actually about him because he was kind of such like an energetic character and really the funny character out of the whole show.
00:46 Always the funny character.
00:48 And so sad to think of what a difficult time he was having personally.
00:53 Yeah, his own troubles. Tragic, obviously. But also outside of Friends, you know, he set up a charity foundation to help people struggling with addiction and other issues.
01:06 And I think that needs to be remembered as well as his acting on Friends, which obviously was fantastic and brought joy to us and so many other people as well around the world.
01:14 Just a really fun, fun programme to decompress and watch and laugh.
01:18 I was really gutted about Matthew Parrott, to be honest. That guy was in my life for 10 years.
01:23 It was like every week, six months of the year for 10 years he was there.
01:27 So it was really like, but it was more the character Chandler. That's who he was to me.
01:32 You know, that was the big thing. But yeah, really gutted. He's only two years older than me as well.
01:37 So I was quite upset into the year there.
01:39 I think Chandler Bing was the best character in that show.
01:43 I think all of my friends, me and my best friend growing up, would watch Friends and Buffy just on repeat, nothing else.
01:49 And I think it's really sad that we've lost him at a fairly young age due to all the troubles that he had. And that's really sad.
01:55 What were some of your memorable moments from Friends?
01:58 Oh God, nearly all the ones with him, to be fair. He was just really, he was cute and he was funny.
02:05 Yeah, he was really good. Really good.
02:08 Do you think it was a big shock that someone, I mean, I think he was 52 when he died. Do you think it was a big shock?
02:12 Oh yeah, big, big shock. Big, big shock. Bless him.
02:16 I loved his character. His sharp wit. Yes, it's very sad. I think he had a troubled life.
02:24 Really, really sad. Yeah, indeed. When I first heard about it, I was like, oh, yeah, it's such a shame.
02:30 I always get sad when I hear about celebrities who have sadly passed early.
02:35 And it's how the grass is maybe not always greener, isn't it? It's sad times.
02:41 The particular character Chonglo, I thought, played a very witty role, played it very well.
02:50 Very sad to hear that he died and seemingly didn't have a very happy life, which I would never have guessed that by watching the series.
02:59 I'm very sad to hear that news.
