00:00 I can tell you what little I know, which is that Israeli troops are still in Jabalia and
00:04 they are still fighting there.
00:07 And that what we heard yesterday, yesterday's air strike is in dispute.
00:11 Not that it happened.
00:13 Israel admits it was a missile strike.
00:15 They say that they were aiming for militants who are hiding in amongst the population.
00:22 And that perhaps is part of who was killed there, all of whom was killed there.
00:26 Were they all civilians?
00:27 We don't know that.
00:29 That's being very differently reported on the Palestinian side and on the Israeli side.
00:34 Israel says there was fierce hand-to-hand fighting.
00:37 It lost 13 troops.
00:38 What it says is that more than 50 militants were killed yesterday.
00:42 Today we have heard reports out of Gaza that there has been another Israeli missile strike
00:48 still in Jabalia.
00:49 I haven't seen confirmation or reference to that on the Israeli side of the line.
00:54 I will say this, both sides, there's a fog of war that's descended, Nadia, because both
01:00 sides are actually keeping their information.
01:03 They don't want to telegraph their punches.
01:04 They're keeping their information close to their chests.
01:07 Hamas telling people that not, not, please do not put anything, any, any photos, any
01:13 film, any information up on social media.
01:16 That's what it's telling Gazan civilians.
01:18 And the IDF really, the Israeli Defence Forces, dole out the information they're telling foreign
01:24 and Israeli media.
01:25 So that's what I can piece together for you.
01:28 I do just want to say one thing about the humanitarian situation.
01:31 We've heard from one hospital in the Gaza Strip that treats cancer patients, the Turkish
01:36 hospital it's called, saying it will have to close its doors due to the fact that it's
01:40 running out of electricity.
01:42 So the question of fuel, fuel being electricity in the Gaza Strip, meaning electricity in
01:47 the Gaza Strip, the question of fuel being allowed in, I think is going to be the next
01:52 humanitarian issue writ large.
