00:04 - Action!
00:05 - Good evening, and welcome to Apple Park.

00:12 - When I heard that we were gonna be shooting
00:14 this Apple event on iPhone,
00:16 I was--yeah, I was kind of, "Of course."
00:18 - Apple suggested that they were gonna shoot
00:20 the keynote on the iPhone 15 Pro.
00:23 I thought it was the perfect place to showcase it.
00:25 I agreed emphatically.
00:27 - All right, here we go. Lock it up.
00:29 - This event being shot on a tiny little iPhone,
00:32 USB-C out, powering 50 monitors,
00:36 and it's going off without skipping a beat.
00:39 - One of the most exciting and interesting things to see
00:41 is, like, how not different it's been on set.
00:44 - This whole piece was low-light,
00:47 and low-light is a little bit more challenging,
00:50 and we nailed that.
00:52 - We were able to get the same complex shots
00:54 on such a small device,
00:56 similar to how we would do any traditional camera.
00:59 We're on cranes, dollies, drone shots.
01:02 - Drones rolling up.
01:03 [upbeat music]
01:06 - We've really supercharged it all
01:08 by having the ability to go to an external drive,
01:11 both USB-C and Apple Lock.
01:14 - Basically gives you sort of carte blanche
01:15 to define your own look in post-production.
01:18 - This new format has way more dynamic range,
01:21 way more information, and gives you more options,
01:24 more creative flexibility, and that's what we want.
01:26 [upbeat music]
01:28 - We tested this phone through its lensing,
01:31 light levels, the dynamic range,
01:32 really figuring out how far we could push this phone.
01:36 - I was incredibly impressed with the quality of the footage.
01:39 The first second I saw it,
01:40 I literally said, "This is the iPhone footage?"
01:43 - You can treat it like you could an Alexa or a Venice
01:46 or anything like that, so from an editing capacity,
01:49 it's been easy to work with.
01:51 - We're getting super clean, beautiful images.
01:54 The results are here by the fact that we can shoot
01:56 this event video on the iPhone 15 Pro.
