00:05 are acting in a peaceful, lawful and safe way and are showing solidarity to their neighbours,
00:09 particularly if they're minority neighbours. We talk about the marches taking place in
00:14 the course of our city over the last few weeks, hundreds of thousands of people protesting,
00:17 a very small minority breaking the law. It breaks my heart that there are Londoners,
00:23 by virtue of the fact they're Jewish, they're receiving hatred. By virtue of the fact their
00:27 children go to a Jewish school, they're scared to take their children to school hiding the
00:32 Star of David chain around their neck. There are women scared to wear the hijab because
00:36 they know they're going to be verbally abused on a bus, racially abused, walking down the
00:40 street. That's not the London I know, but unfortunately we know from history when there
00:45 are tensions in the Middle East, when there are disturbances in the Middle East, it does
00:48 lead to hatred in London. We should be inspired by the young people we've met today, empowered
00:55 to tackle hatred, intolerance and extremism, but also being good citizens. I want more
01:00 and more Londoners to be good citizens and to show allyship to those minorities who are
