00:04 Teresa Caputo made some emotional connections when she stopped by the Drew Barrymore Show.

00:09 While at the talk show, the Long Island Mediums star felt the spirit of a deceased loved one

00:13 on one of the audience members. "Do you smell her or smell things that remind you of her?"

00:17 "Of my grandmother, um, roses. They remind me of my grandmother. I put rose on every morning for

00:24 her." She then passed on a message from the grandmother. "Know that she is with you and

00:29 does not want you to feel bad about not saying goodbye to her. Do you understand that? She says

00:33 you have carried this burden way too long. She says he was my little sidekick." Teresa also said

00:40 her spirit was present during a major life milestone. "Did you get married after she passed?"

00:45 "Yeah." "Because she goes, 'I was at the wedding.' I go, 'You were?' And she says, 'I wouldn't have

00:52 missed it for the world.' She goes, 'I had a front row, Teresa.'" She also felt the presence

00:56 of the audience member's late cousin and said she saw a watch, which is a symbol for time. "It could

01:00 be a year, a birthday, the time someone passed." "That makes sense." "Know that that is them." "It

01:05 is his birthday." Teresa also spoke to host Drew Barrymore, who shared an eerie experience she had

01:11 the night before she spread her father's ashes. "In the middle of the night, the door opened,

01:15 and I just sat up in bed and I said, 'Dad?' And I mean, when you hear something like that,

01:24 what is, what do you think?" "I think that spirit getting your attention. That's the souls letting

01:29 you know that they are present and reminding you that they're with you at that exact moment. I say

01:35 they're little hellos from heaven." Teresa's response moved Drew, who said she was touched

01:39 by the idea that spirits could be not so far away. "I've just had such a yearning my whole life for

01:45 family, and all of a sudden when you talked about how somebody could be waiting for them on the

01:51 other side, that maybe that is when I'll be with my family, you know, because they died all before

01:57 I was born, and I never pictured them being there. So that was really exciting." Teresa is known for

02:05 her powerful readings as a medium. She previously helped access Hollywood's Kit Hoover, connected

02:09 with her late mother-in-law. "She was battling four stage four cancers, and Teresa, I wasn't

02:14 there at the end, but she was surrounded by my husband." "I hear singing. Who was singing?"

02:19 "Always singing. She was always singing." "Oh, she is. Was she funny?" "She's a miracle.

02:28 In life, so much gusto." "She goes, 'Teresa, you could call me mama.' I go, 'All right.'"

02:34 "It's mama! Oh my gosh, I love this." "And she says, 'You know the amazing gift that my son gave

02:42 me?' She says, 'I was able to hold him as he took his first breath, and he helped me as I took my

02:50 last breath.' She says, 'That is the most beautiful gift that anyone can ever have.' She says, 'And

02:57 this is what I meant by that my passing was so beautiful.' She says, she goes, 'Listen, don't

03:03 get me wrong.' She goes, 'I didn't want to die.' She says, 'But I couldn't fight the fight anymore.'

03:08 She told me that, she goes, 'Oh,' she says, 'and my husband.' She says, 'He felt me also.'

03:16 And she says, 'No matter how tough things were,' she says, 'we always said goodnight to each other,

03:23 and he still does. Every night he says goodnight to me.'" "61 years, Teresa. And the ups and downs

03:30 that they witnessed together is quite remarkable." "She's like, 'Hush, no crying.' Sorry, mama."

03:37 "She's like, 'So however we could just validate with that.' And she just said, 'I am with the

03:42 stars.' So know that this was, experience was just all about letting everyone know that she's at

03:49 peace. She did not take her illness with her. She says, 'I want to thank you. All of the right

03:54 choices and decisions were made.'"
