00:00 We just got another brick for the great wall of Mirabal.
00:04 A big offensive tackle is headed down to the 305.
00:09 Markel Bell, welcome to the U!

00:45 and contributor to allhurricanes.com.
00:48 Thank you so much to the everydayers

00:54 and available free on YouTube.
00:56 Huge recruiting night on Friday night
00:59 as the Hurricanes are set to take on NC State tonight.
01:02 But guys, the offensive tackle that Miami just locked up,
01:07 this is one that I really, really, really, really wanted.
01:10 He reminds you stature-wise of a certain Bryant McKinney
01:16 who played at Miami and had a pretty good career down here,
01:19 if my memories are correct on that.
01:22 Markel Bell, who like McKinney,
01:25 took the junior college path
01:26 to arrive at the University of Miami.
01:29 Six foot eight and a half,
01:32 340 pounds out of Holmes County College.
01:35 Six foot eight and a half.
01:37 Markel has been really good on social media.
01:41 Since last week, he made his visit
01:43 to Miami game day visit last week.
01:45 Hurricanes have since been able to lock up his commitment
01:48 in the class of 2024.
01:50 And if you see some of the pictures
01:51 that Markel has been posting on his social media,
01:54 he's standing next to Mario Cristobal.
01:56 And Cristobal is like 6'3", 6'4",
02:00 and Markel makes him look tiny.
02:02 I mean, we're gonna be seeing,
02:03 I'm not sure if we've seen any pictures
02:05 of Mr. Bell with Alex Mirabal,
02:07 but he's gonna make Mirabal look like
02:09 he's about three foot eight
02:10 when he's standing next to Markel Bell.
02:13 But guys, I love everything about this.
02:15 And it's not only Markel's size.
02:17 In his time in junior college at Holmes Community College,
02:21 he's really been able to mature his footwork
02:25 and also mature his body.
02:27 He talked about having lost 40 or 50 pounds,
02:31 since he started at junior college,
02:33 which just makes him quicker.
02:34 And yeah, if you watch his film,
02:36 it's a man amongst boys situation
02:39 at the junior college level for Markel Bell.
02:41 I mean, he is pancaking people.
02:43 He is dominating people.
02:45 He's got great range and the prospects are very high.
02:48 He's considered a high level four star recruit
02:51 in the class of 2024.
02:53 So he becomes the highest ranked commit now,
02:55 offensive line commit, I should say.
02:57 The highest ranked offensive line commit right now
02:59 in the Miami Hurricanes class of 2024.
03:02 And we don't know exactly what's gonna happen
03:06 with Jaylen Rivers.
03:07 He might go on to the NFL after this year.
03:10 We know our guy, the Pancake Honcho
03:12 is gonna be recovering from a serious injury.
03:14 So Markel Bell is gonna be plug and play
03:17 at left tackle next year.
03:19 That's the position that all of his tape.
03:21 I'm not sure if he can play on the right.
03:23 I don't know if he can play guard,
03:25 but all the film of his I was able to watch,
03:27 he's lined up at left tackle
03:28 and he looks like a tank at that left tackle spot.
03:31 He is an indestructible force over there.
03:34 So he is gonna be a plug and play guy for next year.
03:36 (upbeat music)
