00:01 I mean, your thoughts on the tightness and the physicality of this game?
00:05 >> I mean, coming into it, we knew that we were gonna be playing a good team
00:08 with a really physical, tough defense.
00:09 And they showed us that.
00:11 And I think on both sides of the ball, we played really well and very physical.
00:14 And I think that's just what it comes down to in the SEC,
00:17 tough physical games, and we ended up coming out on top.
00:19 >> You mentioned that physicality, you got hit three times.
00:22 How were you able to just keep composed?
00:23 It seemed like you never panicked, it's kind of a thing, I guess, but
00:26 getting hit that many times and seeing these guys coming in.
00:28 >> Yeah, it happens, I mean, they brought a lot of pressure at us.
00:30 They gave us a lot of different looks.
00:31 Obviously, go back, watch films, see if I could have changed something to maybe make
00:36 some guy not miss or change the protection.
00:38 But I mean, you get hit in football, that's part of it.
00:40 I don't know, just stand back up next play.
00:42 >> Carson, with the running game struggling, did you feel you had a chance to play?
00:45 >> No, never.
00:46 I mean, towards the end of the game when we needed it the most,
00:48 the running game started to pick it up.
00:49 We leaned on our offensive linemen like we always tend to in the fourth quarter.
00:53 Get behind them, Dejan, Kendall, whichever back we throw in there.
00:56 But I mean, ultimately, we got so many guys that are gonna make plays that all I
01:00 have to do is be myself.
01:01 >> Carson, did you know that Oz was gonna need you?
01:04 >> No, I didn't, but he did get hot down.
01:06 He had a big old backpack on his back or something slowing him down.
01:10 >> How big was that play, I mean, just for him to be able to make a play?
01:13 >> I mean, a huge play, especially at that point in the game.
01:16 They're starting to drive down, two minute situation,
01:18 trying to go down there and score.
01:20 I think we were up nine, so make it a one point game if they probably wanna go for
01:23 two or one.
01:24 But to make that play on defense, a huge momentum shifter.
01:28 >> Seems like every time you guys get a big play offensively from the area,
01:30 you need to land.
01:31 Just the way he came through the clutch, you feel he's taking that next step?
01:34 >> Yeah, I mean, obviously, he's came up clutch this week, last week as well.
01:39 Big time on third downs and obviously explosive plays.
01:42 Obviously, the coverage that that gives us dictates who gets the ball and
01:45 it's just, it's intended to be him.
01:47 >> Carson, when do you feel I was working in that third quarter,
01:52 two touchdown grabs for you guys,
01:55 wind up being a big deal in winning the game?
01:58 >> I think this whole entire season we've been so good at it.
02:02 Coming out in the second half, especially the third quarter, and
02:05 making adjustments based off what the defense is doing against us.
02:07 That and obviously going out there and executing, getting that energy back,
02:13 getting a little rest during halftime, then coming out strong and being physical.
