00:40 The attack comes just a day after a strike on another school converted into a makeshift
00:44 shelter killed at least 20 people.
00:48 This as two people were killed earlier in a strike by the gate of Nasser Hospital in
00:52 Gaza City, an attack the World Health Organization has called unacceptable.
00:58 According to Gaza`s health ministry, at least 231 people were killed in the past day, while
01:04 more than 9,400 Palestinians have been killed since October 7th, including 3,900 children.
01:10 On Saturday, Israel offered a three-hour window for trapped residents to flee south, although
01:15 it`s not clear how many fled.
01:17 About 1.5 million people in Gaza, or 70 percent of the population, have already been displaced,
01:23 according to the UN.
01:26 Meanwhile, Israel`s defense minister has said that at least 12 Hamas battalion commanders
01:31 have been killed in the IDF`s ground offensive in Gaza.
01:41 U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken was in Jordan on Saturday for a bid to build support
01:47 for planning a post-war future for Gaza.
01:50 He met with weary Arab leaders and officials angry and deeply suspicious of Israel as it
01:56 intensifies military operations in the Gaza Strip.
01:59 More than 9,400 people have died in the Palestinian enclave since the war began in October.

03:45 European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Kiev on Saturday morning
03:50 for talks with President Volodymyr Zelensky.
03:53 It comes just before the release of an EU report that will assess how Ukraine has gone
03:58 towards meeting the criteria for EU membership.
04:01 And it will play a critical role in determining whether the bloc agrees to start formal accession
04:06 talks with Kiev next month.
04:08 Von der Leyen also paid tribute to Ukraine's railway workers.
