00:00 Police haven't released too much detail but what we do know is that the incident occurred
00:05 almost a fortnight ago on October 26th and we understand that an altercation as you mentioned
00:11 occurred between two police officers and a man in his 60s.
00:15 And we've also confirmed details that a taser and capsicum spray were used by the officers
00:21 and the man aged in his 60s was restrained by police and did sustain minor injuries during
00:26 the arrest.
00:27 Now as I mentioned it happened almost two weeks ago so why is it making the news now?
00:31 The reason is because a complaint was made to the Office of Public Integrity and SA Police
00:35 on Sunday about the conduct of the two officers involved.
00:39 They were also wearing cameras so that body worn footage has been assessed by police and
00:44 police say on the face of it concerns were identified and a criminal and disciplinary
00:49 investigation has commenced.
00:51 Now a commission inquiry is also underway and the police commissioner says it has been
00:55 aired to the public because after assessment they've discovered that this is also of public
00:59 interest.
